Reception and pool / bar staff super friendly and accommodating. Really nice pool and bar area. Recommend the club sandwich from the snack menu. Rooms are nice, only issue we had was hot water for shower only lasted for a few minutes, might of just been our room with the issues was only staying for a few nights so wasn’t too much of an issue. Overall really nice hotel and a nice 15 min walk from Golden Mile.

Whilst the rooms might be a little tired they are very well equiped and absolutely spotless!! Fresh towels daily and beds made cannot fault the hard working staff. Reception always manned and really friendly and the pool area snack bar is fabulous, great food and drinks and again spotless. Large pools and loads of very good beds. Lovely gardens and great location near beaches and bars. Our balcony was massive! Great week with the girls thank you!

We recently stayed at the Whala! Tenerife and had a fantastic holiday.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, and every member of staff we met was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The whole hotel even has a gorgeous signature scent that always made it feel fresh and inviting.
The food at the back bar was absolutely delicious – excellent quality ingredients, great drinks and really tasty meals. A special mention to Tom and Lucy, who were funny, friendly and genuinely caring. We really enjoyed chatting to them, and after seeing so many positive comments about them online, we can definitely see why they're so highly thought of!
The location is excellent, making it easy to get to everywhere we wanted to visit.
The only negatives for us were the noise and the plug sockets. Being just off the main road means there's quite a lot of traffic throughout the night, along with people coming and going, and it can be very loud even with the windows closed. With the warm weather, keeping the windows shut isn't ideal either. If you're a very light sleeper or, like me, suffer from insomnia, it's something to be aware of. It certainly didn't spoil our holiday though—next time I'll just remember to pack some earplugs! 😂
The bedroom also only had one accessible plug socket, which was by the vanity table. It wasn't ideal with phones, watches and other devices needing to be charged. Luckily, I always travel with an extension lead, so it wasn't a problem for us, but a couple more sockets would make a big difference.
The pool area is beautiful, and we always managed to get a sunbed whenever we wanted one. It's a shame inflatables and balls aren't allowed, but the pool isn't huge, so I completely understand the rule.
For the price we paid, the hotel exceeded our expectations. We'd happily stay here again.

Good location including for beach if walking isn't a problem. Didn't use pool area until last day. Showers available to clean up before flight but no where to put clothes etc while showering.
Room 113 clean and spacious. Only problem was that plumbing from rooms above appeared to flow anove the bedroom ceiling so every time those above flushed toilet or used shower it was noisy. Disturbed sleep every night.

Absolutely recommend staying here!! Myself and 2 friends - all 18 year old girls - felt very safe here and had a great time. Perfect location - close to the airport, beach, shops, tourist attractions. Staff were so friendly and helpful!
