We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Tsokkos Protaras Beach Hotel and had a fantastic holiday.
The absolute highlight of our stay was the outside bar and the exceptional service we received from Mr. Andreas and the lovely young lady working alongside him. They were both outstanding from morning until evening, always welcoming us with a smile, remembering our drinks, and making us feel like valued guests. Their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made our holiday extra special. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they created such a lovely atmosphere around the bar every day. They are a real credit to the hotel and one of the main reasons we would love to return.
The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance, which was greatly appreciated.
Our room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. We only had a couple of small issues: the toilet base seemed slightly detached from the wall, and there were some black particles inside the kettle. It would also have been a nice touch to provide a small complimentary bottle of water for guests to make their morning coffee.
These were only minor points and did not affect our overall experience. We had a wonderful holiday and would like to thank all the staff, especially Mr. Andreas and the young lady at the outside bar, for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.
We would happily recommend Tsokkos Protaras Beach Hotel and look forward to visiting again.

The accomodation and the location were nice, the staff was really helpful, especially Christoph and Angelina and the blonde girl in the cafeteria. The food had a nice selection, although it could have been more tasty.
The furniture was not very new, the curtains were dirty, there was no AC in the hallway and the elevator was faulty. It's more a 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star, from our own experience.
Very good deal for the price !!

Actually I was expecting more from a 4* hotel. The reception, waiters and entertainment team was very nice. The pool was nice. The location of the hotel was perfect. The 1st night the dinner was Asian night was nice, the other nights too spicy foods so most of the customers left their plates almost full.
We woke up every day at 5:00 because the curtains didn't cover the whole window, that was not the resting we were supposed to have.
The maid just made the bed and left leaving the dirty coffee cups on the desk, no coffee sachets and milk, no sampoo and shower gel left and when I found her on the corridor and kindly asked, she gave me what was supposed to leave in the room. What about the supervision?

Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end. The staff were exceptionally attentive, especially the reception team, the waiters, and the manager, who all went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Even when I needed something late at night, the 24-hour reception team assisted me immediately with a smile. The food was outstanding, with an excellent variety of dishes to choose from. This was our second stay, and I couldn't recommend the hotel more highly

3/5 Stars – Good Location and Value, but Not the Best Choice for a Quiet Stay
I recently stayed at Protaras Beach Hotel and would describe the experience as overall okay. The hotel offers decent value for the price, but there are several areas where improvements could be made.
One of the highlights was definitely the food selection. The breakfast buffet was huge and offered just about everything you could wish for. The dinner buffet was also very extensive with plenty of choices. However, much of the buffet food felt a bit like typical cafeteria food and was only average in terms of taste. On the other hand, the freshly prepared food station was excellent and consistently delivered much better quality.
The hotel's location is very convenient. The beach and the pier are only a few minutes' walk away, and many restaurants, shops, and attractions can be reached easily on foot.
Unfortunately, the biggest downside is the noise. If your room faces the street, you will hear music from nearby hotels and bars, as well as traffic and people outside late into the night, especially groups of drunk tourists shouting in the streets. Rooms facing the inside of the hotel are not necessarily quieter either, as there is still considerable noise coming from hotel activities and entertainment.
One particularly negative experience occurred during dinner when a woman was taking photos of guests as holiday souvenirs. I politely declined, but she would not accept my no and became somewhat rude afterwards. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable. If a guest does not want to be photographed, that decision should be respected immediately without any discussion or attitude.
The rooms are relatively spacious, which I appreciated. However, cleanliness could be improved. There were hairs in the bathroom upon arrival, either from previous guests or housekeeping staff. In addition, the grab handles in the bathtub showed visible rust. Overall, the property clearly shows its age and could benefit from some refurbishment.
The hotel offers a few additional amenities, including a pool table, a table tennis table, and a small gym, which are nice extras for guests.
Overall, my stay was okay. I would not consider this one of the best hotels in the area, but for the price, it is a reasonable option. If you are mainly looking for a central location and good buffet selection, it may suit your needs. However, if peace, quiet, and relaxation are your priority, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
