Absolutely loved our stay here - so much, in fact, that we have already booked to come again. Upon arrival, the staff were super welcoming, and we had a buggy to take us to our room. Upon realising our swim up room would be permanently in shade (due to the time of year only - think that spot would be perfect for sun in the summer) we asked if there was a possibility of moving rooms, and they accommodated this, which was amazing! And in arriving in our new room, we realised we had a fully stocked mini fridge again (which was all complimentary). The view from the pool area, and pool bar, and outdoor areas of both restaurants is of the sea, and the beach was lovely and had loungers free whilst we were there. The app has daily offers on for the spa, so we had an amazing 30 mins back and shoulder massage for €45, with an hour to use the spa facilities after (the spa itself is not complimentary, and for an hour use would be €20) which was great value for money. The choice of drinks within the all inclusive were fab! For lunch, we ate at the pool bar everyday (which is complimentary for all inclusive) rather than the buffet, and the staff were great at catering to our needs. Food overall was good, there was lots of variety at the buffet, and waiting staff brought over drinks and mainly did this promptly. Some late night snacks would have been a nice added touch for the future, but you could get snacks from the shop or from room service up to 10pm (with an €8 tray charge - charge for food, but no charge for drinks, if you were in a superior room). Every single member of staff deserves a mention, as from the cleaning staff to the maintenance staff, you were always greeted warmly - but special shout out to Eilina for helping with the room swap and getting maintenance into our first room when we had an issue with our sink (which was promptly fixed). We also had an amazing member of staff give us complimentary late check out (check out is 11am, and gave us until 1pm). All in all, would recommend Stella Blue to anyone and everyone, and we can't wait to be back

This holiday was amazing! I would say 4.5 star hotel the only thing I would say it’s lacking is better options at dinner and more attention to detail of the cleanliness of the rooms.
Staff are all so friendly !! So welcoming !! Including Dimitri at the reception, Leoandro at main lobby bar Konsontenouis at the bar by the pool, all the lady’s at the restaurants by the pool and the La carte. I will add photos of my favourite staff members as I didn’t get everyone’s names.
La carte was great! And lunch by the pool was my favourite.
Thank you Stella Blue.

I recently stayed at Stella Blue in Crete, and honestly, it was phenomenal. Everything about it was perfect, from the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and so helpful, the rooms were beautiful and spotless, and the whole resort just felt peaceful and relaxing.
The food was amazing, with lots of fresh options, and the drinks were great too. The pool and surrounding areas were gorgeous, and there was plenty of space to relax without feeling crowded. The location was perfect for exploring Crete, but honestly, it was also the kind of place where you didn’t want to leave.
Everything about Stella Blue just felt effortless and high-quality. I can’t recommend it enough, truly a fantastic holiday from start to finish.

Stella Blue
We have been searching as a couple for a resort that we can come back to year after year; we have decided that Stella Blue is the one.
We came to Stella Blue straight from the Mitsis Rinela, and it surpassed the Mitsis in every regard other than number of a la carte restaurants.
Check in:
Check in was 5* quality- the reception team should be applauded- from those at the desk to those rushing out upon arrival to take our bags and the man driving us to our room. It was seamless and better than reception at most 5*s we have stayed in. The reception and concierge team are incredible! Everyone was exceptionally welcoming and seemed excited to have you there- we don’t often feel that. It honestly was the best welcome we’ve ever had- thank you!
We also really liked the welcome drink- I believe it was non- alcoholic, and honestly that was the only thing I would change (add alcohol!), but we still loved it.
The room:
Our room was absolutely beautiful- I have stayed in some incredible hotels and it was honestly up there with the best.
I love the showers- they feel like little caves and the products offered were excellent and smelled delicious.
The mini bar was fully stocked and provided excellent value for my girlfriend- who drank her body weight in alcoholic and fizzy drinks! The only possible way I’d improve the minibar would be to add a non- sparkling option beyond water. However, I enjoyed not worrying about sourcing water, and we could order drinks to our swim up for free, but with an €8 tray charge, which was very nice for me!
The bed was comfy and housekeeping were amazing! The cleaner of our original block asked us how we were, complimented my braids and was very friendly and kind, as well as good at her job.
My only reservation was about sunlight. I have PTSD which has caused severe insomnia. Therefore we booked a swim up room in the hope that we would have guaranteed sun loungers in the sun for the afternoon.
Unfortunately, the room we were allocated (441 I think), was completely in shadow throughout the day (at least from when I woke up at 11am). This is probably due to the position of the sun in October.
I spoke to Eilina (I’m sorry if I spelt your name wrong), the receptionist with red hair. We arrived on the Saturday, I spoke to her on Sunday and she moved us to a room with sun on Monday. I cannot explain how much we appreciated this- it transformed our trip as we didn’t need to get up on 4 hours of sleep and try and find a sunbed. We had a fantastic room (407) that was in sun all afternoon and still could also have 8 hours of sleep. Thank you so much Eilina for accommodating us- it meant we could fully relax and enjoy ourselves.
The spa
Incredible! The spa itself is stunning and we had two fantastic massages for €45 each. Love that there are regular deals available- make sure you go!
Check out:
My partner contacted reception to ask if we could check out later, as we didn’t get to sleep until very late. They gave us 2 more hours in the room, free! Apologies, but I didn’t get the man at reception’s name who facilitated this, but thank you!
We enjoyed the facilities until we left, and they even organised showers and a cab for us. Thank you!
We know we are not the easiest guests, with my allergies and the request about moving room. However, the team continued to be friendly and welcoming to us- thank you. What an incredible place with 5* staff!
We have already reserved our room for October half term next year- we can’t wait! Thanks for everything.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a week at Stella Blue Seaside Resort, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The hotel is newly refurbished and beautifully designed, with modern architecture and stunning interiors. Rooms are sleek and stylish, with comfy beds, high-quality bathrooms, and all the essentials – though storage is a little limited (wardrobe only, no drawers), however it didn’t detract from the overall comfort.
The resort boasts four large saltwater pools, each perfect for a refreshing dip, and plenty of top-quality, comfy sun loungers for relaxation. There’s also a beach just across the road with complimentary loungers, soft sand, clean waters, and unbeatable sunset views.
Facilities are outstanding: a well-equipped indoor gym, a reformer Pilates studio with free classes, and padel and tennis courts (small fee for racket rental). Entertainment is varied and impressive, with live music, singers, DJs, and even aqua aerobics with high-energy instructors every afternoon.
The food and drink were a highlight. The breakfast buffet was fresh and plentiful, with made-to-order options. The pool bar served delicious, made-to-order meals – the chicken souvlaki with tzatziki was a standout for me! The a la carte restaurant, Ocean, offered a fantastic dining experience for guests staying 7+ days. Cocktails and drinks were expertly made, with bartenders happy to go off-menu – we loved the piña coladas, both cocktail and mocktail.
However, what truly sets Stella Blue apart is the incredible staff. Every single team member – from reception to housekeeping, bartenders and waiters to entertainment – was warm, welcoming, hardworking, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. Their attentiveness and hospitality made each day memorable. They genuinely cannot do enough for you.
From the moment you arrive at the hotel, you are greeted with welcome drinks, freshly prepared food, and escorted to your room via golf buggy, to the moment you leave, where the waiters are bringing over your favourite drink without asking. I would like to give a very special mention to the bar staff and waiters at blē, who were particularly fantastic.
The only minor downside is that the surrounding area (Analipsi) is quiet, but with Heraklion just 20 minutes away, it’s easily accessible – and honestly, the resort was so exceptional, we were happy staying put.
In summary: Stella Blue Seaside Resort delivered everything we could have hoped for and more. The entire holiday was effortless. We had the best week and would return in a heartbeat. A huge thank you to the entire team – you're the heart of this fantastic resort. Highly recommended!
