Lovely village type set up in this secluded cove. We were half board which was more than adequate.
Apartment was typically Cretan, basic but perfectly adequate. It had a stunning sea view.
A lot of the sunbeds were broken needing only slight repair but did not see anyone actively checking/maintaining the beds.
3 pools on offer. The main pool had a built in pirate ship which appealed to kids.
Onsite shop sold basic goods-again perfectly adequate if you are half board.
Lots of parking space-car is needed if you like to get out and about.
We walked via the well trodden cliff top route to Damnoni Beach, lovely walk but need shoes sturdier than flip-flops (lots of stones/uneven ground) but do-able for the less fit.
Food was ok for half board and replenished often. Not sure if going all inclusive would have been worth it. The drinks seemed minimal and did not see any named brands I recognised.
I think the 4 stars I have awarded is fair. This was an enjoyable holiday set in a beautiful cove but it does require some updating and upkeep. That said would definitely go again!

Had a great time at this place for my first holiday. Amazing food with great service, cozy rooms, beautiful views and relaxing experience overall. Big standout were the waiters who delivered exceptional service and the bartender George who made me and my friends feel welcome and shared a few laughs. I would recommend this place to anyone 100%

We recently stayed at this hotel and, sadly, our experience was not quite what we had hoped for. Although the surroundings were pleasant enough, the overall cleanliness left rather a lot to be desired. We were surprised to find ants in the bed and even some small worms in the bathroom — not exactly what one hopes for on holiday.
The food, too, was somewhat disappointing. It lacked freshness and flavour, and we often found ourselves wishing we had ventured elsewhere for our meals.
Organisation-wise, things could also be improved. If you are travelling with TUI, do be aware that relying on their transfer back to the airport may not be the wisest idea. The number of stops planned for other hotels means that, should you depend on their schedule, there’s a very real risk of missing your flight altogether. Unfortunately, the organisation felt a little careless at times.
All in all, it was not the most comfortable or well-managed stay. If you’re planning a holiday in this area, I would warmly suggest choosing a hotel in Plakias instead — you’ll be right in the heart of the town, with far more to enjoy and, hopefully, a rather smoother experience overall.

The hotel is in need of serious refurbishing. The rooms are spacious and offer amenities such as a small kitchen, a tv, a hairdryer (very old) and enough storage space. There was a rather weird construction done in the bathroom in order to build an additional shower outside the bathtub. Bathroom has no real ventilation and ac in the room was leaking.
What is truly great about this hotel is the location and the ambience it once had. The garden and beach area needs to be taken care of, it looks old and forgotten. Beach bar was not open within advertised opening hours. Breakfast area is large but there is no ac in the inside venue and outside there are flies and wasps.
Food selection for breakfast is good but coffee was very bad. The lady at reception was nice. There was evening entertainment in the form of karaoke.

Firstly, disregard anyones reviews with 3⭐ or less as they are whiney Karens, unfortunate for their loved ones.
For the price this place is unreal with some of the best snorkeling 🤿, scuba and sunrise/sunsets imaginable. Beautiful little hikes with an amazing beach one direction, and beach village the other, both only 7mins away. Staff was great, you can see everyone including pool maintenance and cleaners are happy with their jobs. that says a lot.
Speaking with the staff many of the minor issues aforementioned in previous reviews will be rectified this winter. I hope come spring this will appease the Karens, but I doubt it though as they would find a way to complain if they won the lottery.
