Our stay was mixed. The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views and access to a unique rocky coastline. The pools are very nice, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay.
However, the rooms and facilities are quite old and in need of renovation. We also found certain areas to be not very clean, which really impacted our overall comfort. The food was okay — not exceptional, but there was enough variety to find something decent eat. For one night stay was ok. With some updates and more attention to cleanliness, this could be a much better experience. As it is, we’d say it’s a place with great potential, but it needs improvement to truly match the setting.

The location is really beautiful and demonstrates all the wilderness of the south Crete as well as that of the open Mediterranean Sea. Unique weather phenomena that I have not seen in all my sailing life in the Aegean Sea. Stunning!
There is always a problem at the entry to the location with a disgusting smell. Just for a few meters. I was wondering how could people leave there.
The day we checked in there was a huge plumbing problem getting the smell all over the place with ambiguous water streams. It was settled within the day but the streams were not really cleared. Just some water here and there.
We stayed 9 nights there and before the last two we realized when one of the chefs just quit due to a lot of pressure and aggressiveness by some of the personnel.
The pool was with seawater and was marvelous and clean. If you prefer the beaches outside the resort, there are beautiful beaches that you can visit. The sea is cold.
Apart from the restaurant area, where we noticed certain things, the rest of the person was very helpful and kind.

Spent our summer vacation here at Kalypso kretan village from 01.08-09.08. I don't want to say much about the experience itself since you can guess by the stars I have given the hotel.
The view and place is beautiful !!
The staff - except the bartender at the pool and some of the staff serving food etc. But honestly, I haven't seen this lack of management and poor customer service in a LONG TIME!!
THE HOTEL and its standard compared to the price is SHIT! even though we complained on our room upon, almost, our arrival, got a new one that wasn't better at all. We couldn't leave the hotel because there was no refund. For those who will book.here in there future, please do book with refund so you can go somewhere else if needed 🙂
The pool was dirty, the food wasn't that good, hygiene at the kitchen and the maintenance of the dining room and the equipment was horrible.
The pool served really bad drinks - the drinks and soda was thinned with water..even though we paid for all inclusive, it wasn't all inclusive, you had to pay for.some drinks, got some.discount at night upstairs, sunbed at the beach side cost 20euro.
Never seen a this kind of bad gym in my life🤣
Honestly, this kind of place shouldn't be allowed to have customer, because it's not worth it!!

Avoid this hotel if you care about your vacation.
1. Service: There is none. The manager is rude, ignores safety rules, and treats guests disrespectfully. Staff seem afraid of him and are unhelpful.
2. “All-Inclusive”: It’s not. Same limited food every day, low quality, and even risk of food poisoning. No other food options around.
3. Drinks: Only the cheapest alcohol is included, served in tiny amounts. Anything decent costs extra. Water isn’t even included after check-in.
4. Beach: No private beach. The nearest one costs €20/day for old sunbeds and broken umbrellas on artificial grass. Water was murky and unpleasant.
5. Rooms: Very outdated, with uncomfortable beds and paper-thin walls. Showers in poor condition. Housekeeping is inconsistent at best.
6. Extras: Beach towels – €4 each. 500ml bottled water – €1.50. No mini-bar. One small water bottle per person at check-in – that’s it. You’re constantly being charged for everything.
The place could have potential, but poor management and greed are ruining it. Not recommended.

Wow, what a experience. We are still here but so far the worst hotel i have been in the last 30 years.
It reminds back to 1987 or 1988 when i went for holidays with my parents to Bulgaria or Yugoslavia. Good old socialism time..:-))!
Old rooms
Stinky pool
Smoking everywhere in the restaurant
Bad quality if food and drinks
If you like to have socialism experience come here…:-)))!
