I had a wonderful one-week stay at Astir Beach Hotel and can highly recommend it.
The food was delicious, the hotel was “always always” very clean, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to the hotel manager Mr. Michalis A. Chatzinikolaou and all staff members for their kindness, professionalism, and attention to guests. Their dedication made my stay truly enjoyable.
I would also like to thank the Naya Club team Mr. Iliyas, Miss. Irına and Mr. Ahmad. The activities, entertainment, and overall atmosphere were fantastic and added so much fun to the holiday.

Just back from a superb holiday in Crete where I stayed in The Astir Beach Hotel, Kato Gouves.
From the moment of stepping through the hotel door we were met with warm hospitality and friendliness from the hotel manager and all the staff. They were so friendly and helpful.
The hotel facilities were great.
Comfortable, clean, well appointed rooms.
Cleanliness was faultless throughout all internal and external areas.
Breakfast and evening meals full of many choices and reflected the tasty vegetables and fruits of Crete.
Outside areas and swimming pools were super.
The location of the hotel is great and it is only a few steps over to the beach and the Sea of Crete.
The hotel manager goes the extra mile to make sure everyone has the best experience staying at the hotel.
I would highly recommend booking.

We spent a great holiday week in this lovely hotel. The animator team was well above the expected, great games/fitness opportunities during the day and great shows in the evening.
The hotel is very close to the beach and there are also some open air pools.
The food was maybe not a 10 star but always fresh and delicious. I must also say that the waiters were always helpful and very positive!

It was a very pleasant stay! The location is great cause it’s both for a good summer vacation and only a short drive from all the places you would want to visit. Wonderful people accommodating your every need. The food was excellent and the people in the dining room were happy to serve with a big smile every day! The rooms were clean and very comfortable! A great sandy beach just a cross the street and of course avra snack bar with the greatest server! I will be coming back for sure!

A wonderful summer stay – full of warmth and energy!
The hotel would definitely benefit from some light room renovations, and there could be more sunbeds by the pool – they fill up quickly, especially in the mornings.
But these small inconveniences were easily overshadowed by everything else this place has to offer.
Located just a few steps from the beach, with gorgeous soft sand, crystal-clear water, and even the occasional fun waves, it's a perfect setting for relaxation and water fun. You’ll also find water sports right on the beach, and in the evening, you can take a lovely walk into the nearby town centre full of charming shops and restaurants.
The hotel food was excellent – always fresh fruit, plenty of delicious salads, and tasty, varied dishes every day. The animation team was absolutely brilliant – full of energy, smiles, and great ideas for kids and adults alike. You'll never be bored!
What really makes this hotel special, though, is the incredible staff – from the kind and attentive waiters, waitresses, bartenders and restaurant manager, all the way to Niko, the unforgettable hotel lifeguard. He’s a true gem – full of positivity, humour, and genuine care. He brings a warm, family-like energy to the whole place and is simply irreplaceable.
If you're looking for a relaxing, fun, and heartwarming holiday, this is a truly great choice. We had an amazing time and would absolutely return!
