We recently stayed at Sol Príncipe in Torremolinos as a family of five and had a fantastic holiday.
The highlight for our children was definitely the Kidsdome activities. A special shout-out to Emilio, Carlos, and the rest of the Kidsdome crew—they were absolutely brilliant with the kids and made a huge difference to our stay. Their energy, enthusiasm, and genuine care helped create some wonderful memories.
The hotel has large pool areas with plenty of space for everyone, and despite the number of guests, we were always able to find sunbeds by the pool. There were also lots of pool activities throughout the day, keeping both kids and adults entertained.
Breakfast was another highlight, with a huge buffet offering an impressive selection of food. The only small downside was that the coffee could be better, but that certainly didn't spoil the experience.
The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent, with the beach just a short walk away. Every evening there was entertainment on the main stage, giving families something to enjoy after dinner.
One thing to be aware of is the size of the hotel. With around 800 rooms and thousands of guests, it can feel busy at times. However, it never felt overcrowded or uncomfortable, and the hotel is well organised to handle the numbers.
Overall, we would definitely recommend Sol Príncipe to families with children. There is always something to do, the facilities are excellent, and the staff do a great job of making guests feel welcome. We would happily return.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic 9-night family holiday at Sol Príncipe and honestly didn’t want to leave.
We travelled with our 3-year-old son, Jesse, and this hotel was perfect for families. The pool area is fantastic, the direct access to the beach is brilliant, and there was always plenty to keep him entertained. The entertainment team worked incredibly hard every day and created such a fun atmosphere.
Our room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely sea view. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay, and every member of staff we came across was friendly, welcoming and always happy to help.
The buffet offered a huge variety of food at every meal, so there was always something for everyone. The location is also excellent, with the beachfront promenade right on your doorstep and plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Thank you to everyone at Sol Príncipe for making our stay so enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would happily recommend it to any family looking for a fun, relaxing holiday in Torremolinos.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Sol Príncipe in Torremolinos. The rooms were modern, spotless, and very comfortable, and the pool areas were lovely with plenty of space to relax.
The standout part of our stay was the fantastic service from the Guest Experience team, especially Fran and Valeria. Valeria was always so polite, kind, and incredibly helpful. She happily arranged multiple taxis for us throughout our stay, including trips to Aqualand and to the airport, and was always on hand whenever we needed assistance.
Fran was an absolute gentleman from the moment we arrived. He gave us such a warm and welcoming greeting and went above and beyond by arranging a bottle of cava and chocolates in another member of our group’s room as a birthday surprise, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The food was generally good, although some evenings were a little hit and miss and, as with many all-inclusive hotels, it did become a bit repetitive on a longer stay. That said, there was still plenty of choice and it certainly didn’t spoil our holiday.
Overall, we had a great experience and would happily return. A special thank you again to Fran and Valeria for making our stay that little bit more special.

Great location, easy to get to from the airport, to and from Torremolinos, Malaga and anywhere else on the Renfe!
The check in process was easy and smooth, the room was quite disappointing though. Only 1 available plug socket, a kettle with no mugs, tea & coffee etc. twin beds, not double and only news channels in English, no other English speaking TV channels, even though there are plenty of entertainment channels for German, Austrian and even an Uzbek channel!
The room did have a fridge and a nice sized balcony though, the hotel was good size, breakfast had a million different options which was great, especially the omelette station. Drinks on site were very expensive, €20 for a beer and a Malibu and pineapple juice (about half price in local bars)!
The hotel is very close to the beach, with a carrefour express and many restaurants outside and a Mercadona within a close walk. The back gate to the beach is very nice, however we were only told about the pool down here? Not the the 2 big ones at the front
Staff were lovely and nothing was an issue, check out was a little busy, but staff were efficient processing people. We didn’t use any other facilities in site, and went out in the evenings, so not sure what events were like.
Lastly, it was a shame the jacuzzis don’t work in the big pool and the 2nd restaurant and indoor pool was closed when visiting. I also wish you allowed evening swimming, as it’s so lovely and peaceful at that time
Would I return, maybe? But there’s plenty of alternatives close by I think that I would rather try first

We have just come back from our stay at this hotel, where five of us stayed in two rooms, and it was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Juan Antonio welcomed us warmly and was always approachable at Reception. One of our group members uses a wheelchair and stayed in the Family Room, and Juan kindly rearranged the rooms so both were together. Although there was quite a distance between the family room and dining area, which was a bit challenging for the person with walking issues, we managed well. Next time, we’ll ask for the person with walking difficulties to be accommodated in the main building rather than the family room. The hotel and its location exceeded all our expectations. Every pool featured walk-in access and hoists, making them very accessible. While the outdoor pools were still cool in May, they became comfortable once you were inside. We chose the all-inclusive package, which provided excellent value with food and drinks available all day. The evening entertainment was average, but since our group was small, it didn’t affect our enjoyment. Our visit coincided with the Derek Ryan Beat the Heat week, which brought more guests, and more reserving of sunbeds with the larger crowds but the hotel would put notes on the beds to clear after 1hr. We had a great holiday and have already booked for next year.
