If you’re looking for a sun-soaked getaway in Torremolinos, Sol Principe is a fantastic choice. It strikes that rare balance between a high-energy resort and a comfortable seaside home.
Here’s the breakdown:
perfect location: you are right on the promenade. Having the Mediterranean literally at your doorstep is the biggest selling point.
Dining: the food is a standout. With a plethora of fresh, varied options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the buffet never feels repetitive.
The rooms: my room was clean and comfy, and the daily room service did a stellar job. While you might spot a few minor, lived-in imperfections, the overall comfort is high.
Facilities: the heated indoor pool is a great refuge for a quiet swim, and the lobby bar is the perfect, lively spot to wind down with a drink.
The staff: this is where the hotel truly shines. The team is incredibly attentive and kind, making you feel like a guest rather than just a room number.
The verdict: Despite some tiny cosmetic flaws, the incredible food, unbeatable location, and warm staff make this a gem on the Costa del Sol.

Great location, easy to get to from the airport, to and from Torremolinos, Malaga and anywhere else on the Renfe!
The check in process was easy and smooth, the room was quite disappointing though. Only 1 available plug socket, a kettle with no mugs, tea & coffee etc. twin beds, not double and only news channels in English, no other English speaking TV channels, even though there are plenty of entertainment channels for German, Austrian and even an Uzbek channel!
The room did have a fridge and a nice sized balcony though, the hotel was good size, breakfast had a million different options which was great, especially the omelette station. Drinks on site were very expensive, €20 for a beer and a Malibu and pineapple juice (about half price in local bars)!
The hotel is very close to the beach, with a carrefour express and many restaurants outside and a Mercadona within a close walk. The back gate to the beach is very nice, however we were only told about the pool down here? Not the the 2 big ones at the front
Staff were lovely and nothing was an issue, check out was a little busy, but staff were efficient processing people. We didn’t use any other facilities in site, and went out in the evenings, so not sure what events were like.
Lastly, it was a shame the jacuzzis don’t work in the big pool and the 2nd restaurant and indoor pool was closed when visiting. I also wish you allowed evening swimming, as it’s so lovely and peaceful at that time
Would I return, maybe? But there’s plenty of alternatives close by I think that I would rather try first

I was simply moved by the astonishing and charming staff. Everyone was very helpful. The most memorable and both shocking moment was a surprise from the manager telling us we just won 2 days of full all inclusive even we have been a simple, regular guest with standard room and breakfast included only. Overall, I did liked this stay in terms of price and value 💗💗💗

Lovely hotel with excellent amenities. I was there for 10 nights. The reason I booked only B & B was that I didn't want to be tided to the same place every evening. I need to explore area. The cost of the buffet each night cost €24. Then they had a special offer 3 nights buffet for €18.00 which was very good.
The drawback was you had buffet for 3 consecutive nights. I wanted go to the buffet 1 night in my first and 2 non consecutive nights in the second. Their policy did not make sense to me.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, lovely staff at check in , amazing pools, buffet breakfast can get very busy & noisy but if you dont mind that then the food is great. Caters for everyone. Very near the airport, only 15 euro for a taxi & 15 euro if you want to go to the marina in Bendalmadena. Highly recommended
