We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were all so lovely, welcoming, and always happy to help.
We brought our two dogs with us, which was fantastic as everyone here seemed to love dogs and the hotel is dog-friendly in almost every area. They even provided dog beds and a lovely goody bag for our pets on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch and made them feel very welcome. The only downside was the cost of €50 per dog, per night, which is quite expensive.
There were plenty of activities for all ages, and my 5-year-old son had an amazing time. There was always something to keep him entertained.
The food was good overall. It’s typical buffet-style food, but there was a great selection of fresh salads, meats, and other dishes, so everyone could find something they enjoyed.
The hotel also has a private beach. It’s beautiful, but quite rocky, so it’s not ideal for swimming, especially when there are waves, as it can be a little dangerous.
Overall, we had an amazing holiday and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended :)

We were very pleased with our holiday and would like to highlight many positive aspects of our stay.
First of all, we were absolutely delighted with the animation team. They gave so much attention to our four-year-old child throughout the day, allowing the parents to relax and enjoy their vacation. A special thank you to all of them for their amazing work!
We would especially like to mention Helena from the animation team. Her energy, smile, and wonderful dances lifted everyone’s spirits every day. We also really enjoyed the water aerobics sessions, which filled us with positive energy and a great mood for the entire day.
The food was delicious and varied, with plenty of choices for everyone. The evening shows were always entertaining and interesting, making every night enjoyable for the whole family.
Unfortunately, there is one major drawback that significantly affected our overall impression of the holiday: the beach and the sea. We traveled a long way specifically to enjoy a seaside vacation. We chose a beachfront hotel not only to admire the sea view but also to swim in the sea and relax on the beach. However, swimming in the sea was not enjoyable, and the beach was dirty, poorly maintained, and not properly cleaned. This was a great disappointment for us and the biggest negative aspect of the hotel.
Overall, we have many wonderful memories thanks to the staff, animation team, food, and evening entertainment. However, the condition of the beach and the sea requires serious attention and improvement from the hotel management.

The staff at reception when you arrive are lovely, they welcome you with a warm manner. The rooms wasn't ready straight away but the member of staff let us know straight away when it were ready.
The room was decent, could do with an upgrade especially the pillow and mattress but the cleaners always done a fabulous job.
Pablo Devesa and Tatiana Rincon during dinner were so lovely and polite, the service was very fast from them they made sure you were comfortable and had everything you needed. The food was a decent selection everything for everyone, breakfast is amazing too!
The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, always seen people cleaning and the maintenance/gardeners doing a great job.
The location is good, you don't have loads of shops but you had Aldi, few restaurants, pharmacy etc and also the bus service.
We have enjoyed our stay! Thank you

I was nervous about coming here after reading the reviews, but honestly, so far, it’s been an amazing experience.
Our room is spacious, immaculately clean, and the ends very comfortable. We have beautiful view over both the mountains and sea. Great size balcony too. The extra sleep space for the kids is fantastic, well worth going for a suite.
The food has been great too, lots of choice, fresh, tasty! Both my kids are enjoying the food and so are we. Yes, I’d like to be able to eat in somewhere other than a buffet, but every meal has so much selection, I’m not bored.
The wines are good quality, particularly enjoying the rose.
The pools are brilliant, the splash park is great for younger kids, the sports & entertainment is fun and the staff really are enthusiastic.
Entertainment at night is great quality, not cheesy! My only complaint, the noise is the Lobby Bar is too loud!
The location isn’t as isolated as others have said. Just a short walk up the avenue and you have 4-5 restaurants, a mini mart, pharmacy etc. We have hired a car so we can explore more and I’d recommend that if you want to be able get out and about.
Highly recommend for families. My kids are aged 15 and 11 & are really enjoying it here.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Sol by Meliá Atalaya Park and would happily return.
The hotel is perfect for families with children. The entertainment team was outstanding, with a great variety of activities that kept our kids happy and engaged every day. The food was also excellent, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality.
What really sets this hotel apart is its staff. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome.
A special thank you to Isabel, one of the managers, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was always approachable, genuinely cared about our experience, and even found us the perfect place to watch the FIFA Club World Cup final alongside the locals, which became one of the highlights of our trip. We were also touched by the thoughtful birthday gifts our daughter received during our stay.
Thank you to Isabel and the entire team for your exceptional hospitality. We can't wait to come back!
