We had an amazing stay at Sol Guadalmar and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. The service was truly outstanding — always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered exceptional sea views. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent throughout.
One of the best parts of the hotel is its great pool area and the range of activities available throughout the day. Whether you’re looking to relax or stay active, there’s always something to do, which makes it ideal for couples and families alike.
The buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was a great option with very tasty food, whether you choose B&B, half board, or full board. There's also a poolside menu available from 12 to 19h.
A special thank you to the hotel team for the lovely gift we received for our anniversary — such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable.
If you're looking for a hotel with excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful views, and a welcoming atmosphere, Sol Guadalmar is a fantastic choice!

The biggest plus to this hotel is the staff. The staff were friendly and helpful. Marta with the kids club is AMAZING. The minidisco she hosted the night we stayed was SO fantastic. She's so great with the kids. My daughter loved it. The rooms are the big downside. Easily the worst beds we've ever slept in at a hotel. The mattresses were so hard, the pillows flat and stiff. The room was pretty run down. The pool was huge and nice enough. Can be hard to find seating and it gets really crowded. It was DEFINITELY WAY overpriced for the quality. The breakfast was ok. Limited options but reasonably priced. There's nothing nearby the hotel. Due to our travel, we arrived with the restaurants were closed. There were very limited options that were walkable and open. One that way turned us away (no fault of hotel - just a note related to the location). The hotel is right on the beach which is nice. I would absolutely not stay there again for the price. We paid twice what I would have been comfortable paying for the quality of the hotel.

We've stayed at Sol Guadalmar four times already, and we’re planning to return again this year.
Our little girl spent her first and most beautiful holidays here starting when she was just one year old. Later, our little boy joined in too.
There’s something truly special about this place, and over time, we’ve realized: it’s the people who make the difference.
A special mention goes to Hugo, who was truly the soul of the party. Our children became very attached to him and still talk about him often.
Each visit has been a pleasant experience, we’ve loved the cleanliness, the location, the food, and the activities. Simply put: everything.
It's hard to imagine a summer without Sol Guadalmar in it. Honestly, our friends have started teasing us about always going back, but what can we say? :) When you find a place that feels this good, you return.
Thank you for everything, and please keep up the amazing work!

This place isn’t a hotel it’s a health hazard masquerading as accommodation and needs to be shut down permanently.
From the second I arrived, the staff treated me like I was an inconvenience just for existing. Rude, dismissive, and clearly annoyed they had to do their jobs. I was dumped on the first floor like garbage, and when I asked for an upgrade, the woman at the desk lost it and shouted at me. Claimed it was “fully booked” maybe in an alternate universe, because half the rooms were visibly empty. Not that you'd want one unless you're into dirty sheets, stained walls, and zero standards.
They’re shamelessly selling vibrators and condoms in full display, so let’s drop the “child-friendly” act. This place is one neon sign away from being a sleazy roadside motel.
Let’s talk food or should I say biohazard samples. They served me pork that was bleeding. Actual blood. You’d get safer meat rummaging through a dumpster. The plates and glasses? Covered in grime. I went back for clean ones guess what? Still filthy. Every surface in the dining area felt sticky, crusty, or both. The only thing I could stomach were the nachos, and that’s only because they were the one thing they didn’t manage to destroy.
Bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a week toilets reeked, sinks stained, and bugs were having a party in the corners. Housekeeping clearly clocked out permanently.
Honestly, staying here was like being trapped in a bad horror film set in a third-rate hostel with no budget or shame. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. If you think this place is “quirky” or “fun,” you’ve either completely given up on life or you’ve never stayed anywhere decent.
Avoid this place like the plague or better yet, report it to the health department.

My favourite hotel in Malaga.Very pleasant environment, very family friendly, with activities to suit children and adults.
Water aerobics in the pool, with poolside bar, sun lounges, yards from the beach.
Lots of thought put into providing an enjoyable experience.
Bar near the dining area, with TV screen, comfortable lounge with seating area at Reception.
Taxis permanently stationed outside the hotel door.
Balcony was a particular bonus, with extensive views.
No noise outside overnight.
Would strongly recommend this hotel for atmosphere, location.
