Nice hotel. Gave it 3 stars for location as its a bit out of the way of things. Major road in between hotel and all local shops and restaurants. You have a 15 minute walk to cross over the road across high foot bridge. The pool is excellent. Never that busy and no kids. Rooms cleaned everyday by helpful staff. Hotel described as 5 star but I'd give it 4 at a push. Just because you have a bloke at the front opening doors for you and charge through the roof for a pint of beer, doesn't make you 5 star. Overall I would recommend for a nice quiet getaway.

My experience at this hotel was unexpectedly good. Since I entered the hotel I was greeted very nicely, friendly and helpful staff. very clean rooms, super friendly cleaning ladies. The food at the restaurant is very tasty. We will definitely return to this hotel and I will recommend it to friends!!!! And the biggest surprise: on my birthday I received a champagne gift at the door, a gesture that made me very happy!!

Booked this hotel by mistake thinking it was a different one. The breakfast was very nice. They had a cute cat that would wander the grounds. My only disappointments were that it was advertised to us as adult only, but there were kids at the hotel screaming very loudly. When discussing with reception they said it was recommended adults only but this isn't what is advertised, so if you want adults only book elsewhere. Location is also very poor with terrible public transport nearby so unless you have a car (it's expensive to park at the hotel) then it's not really worth staying here as there's nothing nearby.

Rooms are clean but really need an update for a 5 star hotel. Balconies, hallways and overall is in need of some cleaning and changing and really, really old and "used". Adults only which was great. Location is HORRIBLE so I'm thinking upgrading of the hotel is a need. A rental car is desperately needed. But the staff is UNBELIEVABLY FANTASTIC.

At this point just avoid this hotel… in short my money is transferred to them with proof of payment but they cancelled my reservation. I’m leaving this review because my experience with Senator Banus Hotel was extremely frustrating. After their credit card payment system didn’t work, they told me I can pay via IBAN transfer. The other option was very insecure they asked for credit card number and security number. I never hand that. Usually only scammers ask for it. I did exactly that, sent them proof of the transfer, and they confirmed they were waiting for the funds in a booking message but on the email their payment department never replied back. But now they’ve canceled my reservation anyway, even though the money is in their account. I’ve followed up multiple times, and they haven’t responded properly. The bottom line: they have my money, my reservation is canceled, and I’m left with nothing. This is simply unacceptable, especially since it was a Spanish bank-to-bank transfer that should have been quick. I can’t recommend them after this experience. Today on the phone the lady with which I was talking was talking over me saying over and over that the credit card link surely was working and I didn’t pay on time. Then why their colleagues instructed me to pay in that IBAN account anyways? I asked them several times to apply the payment on booking and they did not replied. I asked this to their payment department. Also they said that no matter what card I put in booking this will not work through the platform. In the end due to their errors I am left with no money and no reservation. Search other reviews to see they have payment issues. Double payments etc.
