Enjoyed our holiday here. Good pool, good restaurant, and a great supermarket all in one place. Shower was excellent. A bit light on cooking pans and utensils so if your planning to eat in then enjoy your sandwich. Fresh baked goods in the supermarket everyday. A constant dripping of water from the balcony above was annoying as it made our floor wet and slippy. Air con was excellent and made my stay more enjoyable as it was very hot. Overall a good and cheap place to stay and would come back again.

The only thing I can say after coming here for over 8 years is it's went from San Marcial to Sad Marcial.
We stayed here several weeks ago and to say it's went downhill would be a understatement even at the price paid. Once a great place with good food , friendly staff , tv & sports on at the bar , clean rooms , pool and surrounding areas it has diminished to a bar that's open 2pm tp 10pm some days with Pizzas at €12 ( down in Matagorda they're €9 ) . Ask for an ashtray and get a plastic cup full of water.
No tv , wifi , not once did we see the pool cleaned and the kids pool was awful looking , bins not emptied and to top it of ( 1 evening i went to the men's toilets at the bar only to find someone had used the toilet roll and not flushed it. Instead leaving it in the bin soiled ).
The first room they put us in had a foul smell and even though we had requested a certain room it wasn't until we complained we got it.
Next the wifi didn't exist all week and we had a party of young ladies ( if you'd call them that more like feral cats ) who were above us and came back at all hours shouting, moving furniture around , partying and general disruption.
Yes it's a great location close to some lovely areas but that's it. There was no refurbishment work going on while we were there and the new owners don't seem to care either. No security at night like there used to be so anyone can bring back whoever they want with no checks and party plus use the facilities ( what there is of them ).
Sorry to say I don't were Rose Tinted glasses and I'll call it as it is but we'll not be back.
As much as it's cheap its lost all character of a once great place and I can envisage charges being implemented for the likes wifi and other services.

Rooms are what I expected as we stayed there Before no problem there .
1.No wfi was a disaster not acceptable 2025 now not years ago
2.Sun loungers seriously need throwing out and upgraded not enough of them also.Had to get up at 630 by the latest or u wouldn't get a sun lounger towels on loungers all day life guard doesn't care .
3.i missed no food at the bar ,I know this is being upgraded but u wouldn't have to be a chef to do some chips in a fryer and a grill for toasties big let down. Pitzas were nice but not every day .
4.pool area is good to be fair nice big pool .Close to square 5 mins walk .
5 massive pool bar shame no food as it wasn't supported enough .
6 shop on site excellent, cheap 👌.
It's a basic .place good for a budget holiday .suits some
But won't return 😕
90% of people staying are irish /English not 1 English channel on the TV 10 night stay terrible not to glance at the TV occasionally

We stayed here a few years ago and it was lovely.
Nice apartments with great views! Always recommend. The restaurant on site did have some slightly rude staff but this may have changed since our visit
