I'll share my positive and negative points about this big Resort.
Positives:
Huge size and nice location.
Fun and funny evening events.
Beautiful view from the Resort.
Negatives:
Not the complete staff was polite.
It's not the staff's fault, but it also doesn't help. Unfortunately, some guests by the "swimming pool" were too much, talked too loudly, didn't look after their children, put their towels on the sunbeds to save a place really early and din't pick up their own trash.
Guests with a "blue" wristband can not have breakfast or dinner in the main restaurant. Only guests with a "green" wristband are welcome there. Bluebands only most have breakfast and dinner in the smaller restaurant. We found this unnecessary, since the same amount $ is charged to all guests for "all-inclusive" services.
We have no plans to return, precisely because it's too industrial. Next time we'll choose something more cozy. It's a pity...

We stayed here for 6 days with our 2 young kids and had a lovely time overall. The resort is huge with plenty of activities for both adults and children. The view is stunning, and the staff, from reception to cleaning and bar service, were all super friendly and helpful.
We tried the spa and massages, highly recommended! My 7-year-old had a kids’ massage and even fell asleep during it. The only downside was that the massage room felt a bit cold, possibly due to the air conditioning.
There’s a Spar supermarket right outside the resort, which was super convenient for snacks, essentials, or baby items.
The kids also enjoyed the mini farm near the resort entrance with goats and chickens, a fun surprise! However, the enclosures were quite small, and I do hope the resort will improve the space and care for the animals.
Food at the hotel was average, not bad, but not exceptional. The outdoor pools were clean but quite cold for young children. There is an indoor pool, but unfortunately it was closed during our stay in June. I was told it usually closes at the end of May, so we must have just missed it.
Overall, it’s a great place for a relaxed family vacation. We would recommend it, especially for families with kids, just come prepared for a bit of walking and cooler pools!

A Wonderful Stay at the Royal & Imperial Belvedere!
We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Royal & Imperial Belvedere Hotel in Crete. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the high standards across the hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and welcoming.
The food was lovely throughout our stay – there was always a great variety, fresh ingredients, and something for everyone to enjoy. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we were always impressed by the quality and choice.
The entertainment was brilliant every day and night. There was always something fun going on, and the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming.
A special mention to Gaia and Giulia – they were simply amazing. They made us feel so welcome from day one and truly went above and beyond to keep everyone entertained. Their energy, friendliness, and professionalism stood out and made a big difference to our holiday experience.
Thank you to all the staff at the Royal & Imperial Belvedere for making our stay so memorable. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

The hotel itself was beautiful and spacious, offering plenty of areas to relax. The food was delicious with a great variety of dishes to choose from, which was definitely a highlight.
However, there were a few things that didn’t meet my expectations. The rooms were okay but not as clean as I had hoped. The biggest issue was with the pool area. In an All-Inclusive hotel, you expect to find a comfortable place to relax by the pool, but this was not the case. Although the hotel claimed to have a policy against reserving sunbeds, many guests would place towels to hold them all day, and nothing was done to enforce the rule. I even complained at reception, and while they said they would handle it, nothing changed. As a result, I ended up spending the whole day at a bar table because there were simply no sunbeds available.
The staff also left a poor impression. They were not very polite and often seemed bothered when approached for help or information.

We really had a great time at Belvedere hotel. Check-in and check-out process were smooth. The animation team was fun, kind and entertaining. The restaurants were really good, and there was always a lot of choice for the food. We requested lunch to go for a day, and we had everything we needed. And the best part: the bars are really great, people there take good care of you, always with a smile or a delicate attention. A very special thank to Lefteris, probably the best barman in the world. Thanks for everything, it was a huge blast!
