Gad a great stay here, the room was large and very modern and clean. The resort is great for laying by the pool and great location to get out walking to local shops. The food was good and parking for a rental car at no charge.
Only gripe..wish they had a good pina colada ..
Would suggest to anyone staying crete

Just finished a ten night stay with this hotel and we loved it. Small issue when we first arrived at 10.30 and were told the hotel was over booked, even though we had booked ten months prior, so we must stay at another hotel for the night. We did get upgraded wrist bands for this issue which allowed us to get all the inclusive plus perks. * It does seem to be only EasyJet and Love Holidays that are having the overbooking issues. *
Once checked into the hotel we have had no issues. Small points such as the noise from the hallways and no bin in the main room but honestly such small things. Nice finishings around the hotel and rooms, clean everywhere and staff very polite and helpful. Fridge in room with two bottles of water which are refreshed daily if you get your room cleaned. We had a superior garden/Mountain View room in the main building on the 5th floor. Good space for the two of us.
The pool areas are always clean and tidy and we never had an issue getting a sunbed the days we wanted to use them.
Rented a car on site and had a fabulous experience with that. Would recommend. Great prices and it was fab to see more of Crete.
Food was always on offer. Late buffet between 10.30pm and 3am for late arrivals. Early breakfasts, normal breakfast, two snack bars with pizzas, chips, sandwiches, gyros, etc. the all inclusive food was some of the best I’ve had at all inclusive hotels. Good selection and themed nights such as Mexican and Asian. We used the on site Asian restaurant which was lovely and part of the all inclusive package. We also used the ‘basket lunch’ for the three days we rented the car. You must speak to reception the day before and pick it up in the morning. They had sandwiches, crisps, bottled water, apples, cereal bars in them. They were great for our travels.
Multiple bars with a good selection, branded spirits and staff who are always happy to help. Snack areas have some self serve options like soft drinks, beer and wine.
Cannot fault the staff. They are never idle and always busy doing something even when it’s a little quieter. Their focus really seems to be on the people who use the spaces.
We didn’t use a lot of the evening entertainment but there were plenty of seats available from what we did see. The two wee shops in the hotel are good and not too badly priced. A larger Spar at the bottom of the road.
Old town a ten/fifteen minute walk out the back gate near the Greek restaurant. It’s a must. Lovely area with stunning views and inviting locals.
There are some donkeys, birds and goats on the walk down the main entrance and across from the main building there are some tortoises. We loved going to see them over our stay. The surrounding garden areas are lovely and well kept.
We have loved our stay here and we will be back. Fab place as a base.

My star rating is due to two things. A complete lack of being able to get sun beds, in 7 days we never managed to get sun beds, even when I went down early and put towels on the beds, someone else had removed them when I went back after breakfast. Unless you are prepared to go at 4am and stay there you won't get beds, our family spent the week on the chairs by the bar when we could get them, otherwise we went without. Secondly the food. They have a buffet restaurant which isn't the best and is basically the same food everyday. The mexican restaurant is again a buffet and is the same everyday but slightly nicer food. The one night we went to the Japanese restaurant was the best food we had, on par with any Japanese fast food restaurants you may of tried. The drinks; the beer is standard beer, all cocktails are premixed from a tap, the wine is very cheap tasting. All together it isn't the best food and drink. For the kids they have ice cream available all day however is used so much it's basically always half melted in the freezer. The best food available quickly is the gyros you can get from one of the snacks bars, the other snack bars served hot dogs and burgers both very cheap. Other than that everything is on separate levels so be prepared to be waking up and down lots of steps and some hills to move around the resort. All the staff seemed nice enough, especially the people running the shops, they were always kind and helpful. You do have access by walking down the hill to the strip, but you have to walk past some animals in cages as others have said, where you can buy any touristy things you would want and they have nice restaurants there as well. All in all I would suggest spending as much time outside of the hotel as possible. Also we went having booked through TUI but it turns out the hotel is a shared resort between Jet2 and TUI and you will be split between the two when given access to restaurants etc, Jet2 have certain days and TUI have certain days you'll be forced to go to certain restaurants on your days. They have a sports area that my kids used one day and then said they weren't interested after that. Otherwise there isn't much to do so as I said make certain you have things to do outside the hotel. The entertainment was pointless and pretty low grade to be honest and the entertainment area is very over crowded and people will be fighting over chairs brought from the snack areas.

Lovely hotel, very clean, fantastic service.
Food good quality, plenty of variation and no shortage, really good ice creams.
Greek breakfast restaurant is absolutely superb, quality of food and service in there 5*+, thank you 😊
Drinks are good, a bit sweet for my taste, but they use good quality alcohol for the cocktails, beer is not bad, wine drinkable.
Very touristy area, bus to Heraklion stops directly outside the hotel for a trip yo the capital, where it's markedly cheaper for coffee, meals etc.
Not really any English TV to watch, so bring a pad, WiFi was good.
No info on what meal type is planned for the evening, asked at desk and was told ( politely) that the only way was to wait for the restaurant to open to find out, strange.
Definitely a family friendly hotel, entertainment very family orientated, good quality, but not really for us as a couple.
Basically a very good hotel indeed, despite the small niggles I've mentioned.
Thanks for looking after us.

We will probably never come back here.
On the first night, when we arrived with a small child, they sent us to another hotel because they accept too many reservations, hoping that someone will not show up. This is an absolute lack of respect for the customer, especially for families with small children.
Then we did not get our own room, but an “upgrade” to a supposedly bigger room, which was poorly laid out, with very little furniture to put our things on, and many things were broken or damaged.
The food is not bad — you can find something to eat. The pools themselves are okay, but the only sunbeds that are actually comfortable are the ones at the very top. All the others should have been replaced a long time ago.
The territory is very large, the town is very close, and the sea is about a 10-minute walk away.
The nicest staff members are the cleaners, who give juice to the children and are always smiling. They come every day to tidy up the room.
