Pros:
Great staff; everyone was friendly and helpful.
The pools were large, and even with a lot of people, you could easily find space to swim.
There were plenty of food choices, so everyone could find something to eat.
The rooms are nicely designed and spacious. I would say their spaciousness is their best feature.
Nice activities and shows.
Really quiet for such a big complex.
Absolutely perfect location near the beach.
Cons:
When we arrived, the bathtub molding was fallen off (though they fixed it immediately after I reported it).
None of the bathroom doors have locks. I am not sure if this is a common thing for hotels in Spain, but we also stayed at Prinsotel Alba and experienced the same issue – no locks on the bathroom doors for some reason.
The water in the pools could have been a bit warmer, but it was acceptable.
While it is extremely nice for families with children - I would not recommend it for couples.

Beautiful Property with Great Amenities, but Communication and Service Fall Short
We recently stayed at this hotel for our holiday. Overall, it was a very nice stay with a few hiccups. While the property itself is stunning, the service and communication gaps hold it back from being a truly seamless experience.
The Positives
Aesthetic & Atmosphere: The hotel is absolutely beautiful and modern. There are lush flowers and plants everywhere, making the entire property feel like a tropical escape. The rooms are incredibly aesthetic and comfortable.
Convenient Layout: There are plenty of pools to choose from. We loved that everything you need—both pool-wise and food-wise—is centrally located in the middle of the property, making it incredibly accessible.
No Pests: Despite the hotel being located right by the wetlands, we were pleasantly surprised to have zero issues with mosquitoes or any other bugs during our stay.
The Negatives
Language Barrier: Most of the staff do not speak English, which made communicating basic needs very difficult, even when ordering at the restaurants.
Housekeeping & Maintenance Issues: We had a tough time getting our room and private pool cleaned. It wasn't done until we explicitly asked halfway through our holiday. After housekeeping skipped our room for two consecutive days, we had to resort to going to reception just to schedule a daily clean.
Average Food: The food overall was nothing to rave about. The saving grace was the buffet, which allowed us to pick and choose specific items we liked. However, the paid à la carte meals and lunches were quite disappointing for the price.
Inconsistent Service: While most staff were just hard to communicate with, one male staff member was particularly rude. Unfortunately, he seemed to work across most of the restaurants throughout the day, making it hard to avoid him.
Unaccommodating Dining Times: The food schedule is incredibly difficult if you have young children on a routine. Breakfast is only open for a short two-hour window, and lunch doesn't open until 12:30 PM, leaving a massive gap in the morning where you cannot access any food. Furthermore, the evening restaurants don't open until 6:30 PM, which is far too late for hungry, overtired toddlers
Final Verdict
This hotel is a visual paradise, and we enjoyed the layout and the beautiful surroundings. However, due to the service friction and lackluster dining, I wouldn't choose to stay here again. To be fair, we usually prefer to try new hotels every time we travel to explore different places anyway, but the hiccups here definitely solidified that decision.

We stayed at this hotel for a week in April. We had booked the 2-bedroom suite, which was perfect for a family with 2 children. We all enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We liked the aesthetic of the rooms and the cleaning service was daily and detailed. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The pools and garden area were lovely and it is a paradise for kids. The service was impeccable. Everyone was very helpful and fulfilled all our requests. This hotel is highly recommended for families wishing a trouble free holiday.

Went with for family holiday with 9 month old. Was a great hotel everything was very easy, actually pretty nice too.
It’s a family hotel which is perfect if you have kids if not I would avoid it.
We had a penthouse room with deck and hot tub. The room was way too hot which in may was ridiculously hot, the hotel has a system where they can only heat or cool the rooms and unfortunately the general temp at night was low so their system was set to heat… so no A.C. The manager understood we couldn’t stay in a sauna.
We switched to a ground floor room in the shaded side which had a private pool which was ideal. The temp of the room pool heated to 31 degrees which is ideal for a baby to swim which is a massive bonus.
Food is good enough, however I would advise going to the restaurant just outside on the street instead of the buffet as it’s way better and included.
There are tons of mosquitoes but weirdly all three of us were there for 4 nights and didn’t get bitten.
I would go back 👍

I feel scammed. Website was offering a heated pool. I was sceptic and wanted to confirm and asked by email the hotel about the heating, they confirmed and eventually I booked. When I arrived the disappointment was high when i met a cold pool. I approached to check in desk and the lady promised to send someone, I met her again a few hours later and she confirmed that someone will come, guess what… the pool was still cold at night and no one showed up. I booked the hotel in April, knowing the wheater could be still chilled and therefore I asked in advance and during my stay. I have spent my bday there and wanted to teach my daughter swimming… the heated pool was the main reason to book that place, what a disappointment or scam???
Apart from my personal feelings:
The hotel itself looks well maintained. 5 minutes away from the beach. Playa del Muro is supposed to be one of the most beautiful beaches, however I cannot confirm that for the section you can enter from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but they seems very touristic. High priced and lower quality. Not even authentic. Don’t go to the steak house nearby! However they have several pools suitable for small children, that’s a plus. Breakfast was good. However the children disco was not exciting, although the entertainment team was lovely.
Boom the hotel of its summer and you just want to relax. Avoid if you look for honest employees or if the wheather does not allow swimming outside.

Eventually the hotel has solved the misunderstandings. I will try it out again the next time I am around
