Palmera Beach Hotel was beautiful, clean and stylish. We had a problem with our first room, due to my disability, but the manager went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The room we got was amazing, we had a rooftop balcony, mountain views, it was clean, tidy and fresh. The jacuzzi on the balcony was amazing. All the staff at the hotel were polite, kind and very helpful, especially Mr Nikos in the restaurant, he made our mealtime experiences brilliant, he always made us smile. Food was well varied and always of good quality, we ate well every day, there were plenty of drink options. The garden with the sunlougers was very beautiful and was a nice place to ay in the sun and relax. We had the best stay there and would definitely go back there.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days, and my experience exceeded my expectations. The staff were lovely and attentive, and all my requests were fully satisfied. The room was clean and tidy. The food was tasty, with a good variety of options available. The hotel’s facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The only minor drawback was that the pool is quite small, but it doesn’t take away from the overall great experience. Special thanks to the manager! I would definitely come back here.
Loving Life
From the moment i arrived at the Palmera Spa Hotel, i knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of luxury and relaxation, modern comfort wrapped in a serene, welcoming setting. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully designed, from the tranquil spa facilities to the beautifully kept grounds.

But what truly sets the Palmera Spa Hotel apart is the outstanding service. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect, and one person who truly made my experience unforgettable was Ramona, the waitress. Ramona has a rare gift for hospitality she’s warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about each guest.
The food and drinks were another highlight. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and always served with style.
In short, Palmera Spa Hotel is a dream destination. Come for the spa and the luxury, but stay for the exceptional people who make it feel like home. I would like to pay particular thank yous to karyna and malamo who were amazing and who welcomed me to the resort and dealt with any questions I had.
Thank you to all staff at the Palmera I will certainly be returning if I visit Crete again.

I stayed here for a midweek in August and overall had a pleasant experience. I received an upgrade to a sea-view room, which was a nice surprise, though it did come with a lot of evening noise due to the boulevard activity below.
The room itself was comfortable, but a few areas could use maintenance — for example, some musty spots and cracks on the bathroom wall. Daily cleaning was a big plus and was done well.
Reception staff were excellent: friendly, attentive, and helpful. However, the restaurant staff were less so. Service was slow, both in taking orders and clearing tables, and they weren’t particularly welcoming.
As a hotel guest booking directly through the website, I was supposed to receive a 10% discount in the à la carte restaurant, but it wasn’t always clear if this was applied since staff never asked or checked.
Breakfast was decent, with the same selection each day. The main issue was waiting for drinks(coffee, juice, etc) since only one employee was preparing them, which created a line every morning.
Finally, I noticed that other nearby rooms had a drying rack for clothes, while mine didn’t receive one until the day before checkout. A thoughtful gesture, but it would have been better if noticed earlier.
All in all, a good stay with friendly reception staff and a great view, though service in the restaurant and some small maintenance issues could be improved.

My wife and I stayed here early September.
A good hotel if you are young and want a lot of night life.
The room we were given had a water leak from the room above, we were moved on the third day, which was a real pain so that put a dampener on holiday. The beds a super comfy.
The younger patrons were very unruly and did not care about upsetting the older people, they made a lot of noise at three in the morning, and when asked to keep it down, they got abusive.
The restaurant staff were great and work very hard and the food was first class.
The bar staff are in need of a charisma transplant and a rocket up their backside. Seemed like it was too much trouble to serve you.
My advice is don't go All Inclusive at this hotel, it's not worth it.
The pool is a waste of time, far too small and in the wrong place.
I would not stay here again.
