The food is outstanding and prepared to the standard of a real chef. What impressed us most is that the menu changes every day, offering a great variety of fresh, high-quality dishes. Every meal felt like a new culinary experience.
The breathtaking sea views are unforgettable, and having the beach right at the hotel's doorstep makes the location absolutely perfect.
A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the very best of the Spanish coast. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional holiday.

Overall, we had a good stay, but there are a few areas that could be improved.
The room was clean and spacious. Our first room on the 10th floor was unfortunately very noisy due to the rooftop bar, but the hotel kindly allowed us to switch rooms, which we really appreciated. One small suggestion would be to provide a broom, as a lot of sand gets brought in from the beach and quickly spreads throughout the room.
The food was good. I actually preferred the smaller buffet compared to many All Inclusive hotels in Turkey or Greece. I appreciated the different dinner theme each evening. There were also plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. However, the all-inclusive drinks, especially the wine and coffee, were disappointing. The better cocktails were not included and the Sky Bar charged extra for everyone.
The pool snacks were another disappointment—they simply didn't taste very good and the selection was limited.
The evening entertainment was far too loud. There was really no need for the volume to be so high in such an enclosed space. It made the shows less enjoyable, and I noticed many guests covering their ears or standing further away. The 10:00 pm start time was also quite late for families with children.
I know many guests highly praise the Kids Club team. Since our children are a little older, I can't really comment on the club itself, but nobody ever approached or encouraged them to join any activities during our stay.
The lobby, bars and restaurants are beautifully decorated. We especially loved having breakfast and dinner outside, as the indoor restaurant became very noisy during peak times. The sea views were absolutely stunning.
The beach, however, was disappointing. It was very crowded with locals having barbecues, the water was not clean, quite cool and the waves were rough on some days. The hotel does not provide sun umbrellas on the beach, and the third-party umbrellas were old, worn and located far from the water. We ended up buying our own umbrella at a supermarket and unfortunately had to leave it behind when we flew home.
Families should also be aware that children are only allowed to use the family pool. So only one outside pool for everyone. It gets extremely crowded, making it difficult to find sunbeds or shade. An indoor pool would be a great addition, especially during very hot days.
Finally, I think the hotel's marketing team does an excellent job on social media, presenting the property as a luxury, high-end resort. In reality, the pool and beach areas do not quite match those expectations.
The hotel is also located some distance from the centre of Benalmádena, so there isn't much to do within walking distance in the evenings.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the beautiful views and the good food. However, the hotel did not quite live up to the high-end image presented on social media.

We arrived yesterday to the Benalma hotel and couldn’t be happier with the staff and facilities - especially Fafu & Paula the entertainment team at the pool - they are fantastic!!
The pool party was so much fun and all the games. I won the darts and my nephew won the swimming race!
Such wonderful staff, make us feel very welcome and so much fun!

Okay it was pretty good and the booking was very easy. Also a great service, great rooms, great cleaning, great location, nice view. Everything is just so good. I just love how it looks. The food is actually pretty good. I think it's actually a good hotel and I recommend booking it if you ever need a hotel. I recommend it. It's really really good and I just really really recommend it. Great service, also cleaned the room well. The room looked good and everything is just perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is amazing—peaceful, quiet, and with the soothing sound of the sea as the only thing you can hear.
What truly made our experience special, however, was the staff. Everyone we met was attentive, friendly, and always smiling, making us feel more like family than guests. A special thank you to Fabian at the pool bar, as well as Fernando and Natalia at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us in various situations throughout our stay.
The food was delicious, the rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would gladly return in the future.
