Rooms were of a good standard overall. We booked a side sea view room — you could see the sea slightly, but the main view was mostly of the hotel/building across the road that was under construction. There was also constant traffic noise, so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet it may not be ideal, there was also a lot of noise from the other rooms.
The cleaner on the 4th floor was absolutely lovely. She made different towel creations for us every day and we had a good laugh with her when we made one back for her!
There is a bar at the hotel, although we didn’t use it as we were out most of the time, but you can view the menu and drinks were reasonably priced. Rooms were cleaned daily if you put the sign up, and the cleaning was always done to a very good standard.
Breakfast was good with plenty of buffet-style options. The lady making the eggs, pancakes and omelettes was really friendly and welcoming. It does get very busy though, and at times it felt like there weren’t enough tables, with people waiting for them to become free.
The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Old town, it's also 10 minutes to the harbour where you can find lots of different stalls offering to take you on different visits to different islands such as Symi and marmaris.

We recently stayed at Mitsis La Vita in Rhodes and had a really enjoyable experience overall.
A couple of staff members truly stood out and made our stay special. Desplna at the front desk was always welcoming, helpful with suggestions on places to visit, and greeted us every day with a genuine smile. Rena, the daytime bartender, was also fantastic—always pleasant and went out of her way to help us get ready for our day trips, even filling our water bottles with ice.
I’d also like to mention the woman cooking eggs at breakfast each morning—she worked incredibly hard and always had a positive attitude. You can tell the staff here really care.
The beds were comfortable, and we were treated to some beautiful sunsets during our stay.
There were a few downsides worth noting. The website mentioned free airport transfer when booking online, but when we called after landing, we were told to take a taxi, which cost us €30. The rooms are quite small, and the bathroom layout is a bit tight—the door only opens halfway due to the toilet. The rooms are also fairly plain, with no artwork or décor on the walls.
Additionally, there is a large new hotel being built across the street, so the front-facing rooms can be quite noisy during the day.
Overall, we had a good stay, largely thanks to the excellent staff and great location. With a few improvements and clearer communication, this could easily be an even better experience.

5 STARS ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!
Service was absolutely immaculate!!
A special shoutout to Ina & Mary, the daytime receptionists. They helped us out with room changes, any questions, always greeted everyone with a smile and really just made us smile everytime we walked into the hotel.
The Bar is open until midnight and a special thank you and appreciation for Alexia, amazing service, and just super friendly!
The buffet in the morning for breakfast was warm and made fresh, there were special staff who made eggs how you like them and fresh crepes! The cantine has an amazing view of the beach!
Would definitely come again and again and recommend everyone travelling to come here for perfect service. Clean rooms and a company that cares about the little details.
The hotel is local to everything in Rhodes town and the old town where you can visit the local shops, castles and palaces within walking distances.
Big love to IONNIS 🤍🤍 The manager here at Mitsis La Vita. He’s done an amazing job with 30 years in hotel experience and was really like a holiday father!
The staff here are seriously commendable and it’s amazing to see them take pride in remembering their clients and just their overall friendliness and work ethic.

Lovely 4* hotel with small, cute pool opposite the beach. Noisy atm due to hotel development opposite, but nevertheless good value for € is reflected. Front Sea View is lovely, but probably only a Juliette Balcony. Side Sea View is better if you want to sit outside, but is opposite building works atm. Breakfast buffet is sufficient. Half Board includes dinner but it is in another Mitsis Hotel a very short walk away. If you want to be central, near a beach and have a little bit of luxury, try this hotel.

Great location opposite the beach & close to airport bus transfer stop. Only 15 mins walk into town if you turn left or turn right to walk along the beach road a bit longer both ways allow you to get know the area.
Very clean, throughout, Nice terrace outside to enjoy drinks in the sun or just read your book.
The best breakfast loads of choice, staff brilliant from reception to the lovely ladies who look after your room. We had a great stay & will return.
