We had a perfect stay and everything was beyond our expectations! This is a true 4-star hotel that pays attention to every detail to ensure guests have a wonderful experience.
We stayed on a half-board basis, and both breakfast and dinner offered a great variety of delicious food. We always found something to enjoy, including options for our daughter, Georgina, which was very important to us.
The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard, and the reception team was exceptionally welcoming and helpful.
Special appreciation goes to the two hotel managers, who were always attentive and present. It is clear that the entire team works with passion and dedication, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere for all guests.
A special thank you to Marcela from the restaurant for her kindness and excellent service.

Welcome was lovely - we only dine to have breakfast but plenty of lovely fresh food and cava - a game change for me… why we don’t start the day like this in the UK is beyond me

First time at the Mac Puerto and will definitely be back again. Great location with plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Room was spotless and spacious, a very big bed! Plenty of choice at breakfast with a dedicated gluten free section. Poolside bar does great food during the day, could maybe do more in the courtyard area during the day but maybe it was quite because it was April. The entertainment in the very large bar in the evening was good but maybe not everyone's taste, probably suited to an older guest. The bar staff were fantastic as were the breakfast staff. Nice touch is the welcome drink and the free drinks in the mini bar. Our room was a street view but will upgrade to a courtyard view next time and if you are a sun worshiper the poolside rooms look brilliant.

We've been here now 3 times. Each time has been amazing. The attention to detail is brilliant. I have some intolerances and they are always very accommodating. Food is lovely, staff are friendly and the cleanliness is impeccable, in the rooms and in the communal areas. The pool area is fantastic, we've been in April, August and May and always manage to get loungers.
You can't beat the location, right on the marina, walk left La Carihuela way and all the way to Torremolinos. Up to Benalmadena town and the train centre. Right, along the promenade towards Mijas (we didn't walk that far that way!).
If you hire a car, there are so many places to go that are lovely to visit, Benalmadena Pueblo, Mijas Costa and Mijas Pueblo, Fuengirola, Puerto Banus marina (Marbella, but we weren't as 'wowed' by there). Then there's Malaga itself, nice harbour and a lovely city. We havent yet ventured to Nerja or Estepona, so we will be back to get to these parts!
