I can't say enough wonderful things about this resort! The front desk and all customer service was phenomenal! We arrived at 2 am and they were wonderful enough to keep food out awaiting our arrival. So thoughtful and we were more than thankful since we were rerouted and arrived much later than planned. The rooms are gorgeous! The property is stunning! Housekeeping was so friendly and did a great job. The rooms were immaculate! The buffets for our half board were neverending and the perfect selection! Everything was fresh and delicious for both breakfast and dinner. I would absolutely come back! Perfection!

This hotel exceeded our expectations definitely worth the 5 star!
We went half board. The breakfast was varied and excellent. So much choice.
The buffet meal in the Olive restaurant was fantastic. A different theme every night. Tonight was Asian and it was the best we have eaten at a hotel buffet. Freshly cooked and served at various stations. So many choices of deserts and salads too.
The staff were very warm, helpful and friendly they really go out if their way to ensure you have a great holiday nothing is too much trouble.
We will definitely return to this amazing place.

Decided to take advantage of some late sun and booked a getaway in late October. We were not disappointed. The weather obliged with pleasant 27c most days and the hotel was magnificent.
In recent times we have stayed in accomodation that claims to be 5* but Ikaros Beach truly is. The reception area is beautiful and welcoming and perhaps check in could be less reliant on tech for the older guests. However, once checked in our cases were delivered to a modern beautiful designed room which included a garden and hot tub.
The grounds are amazing with a lovely Creten village feel. Lots of lovely pools and plenty of sun loungers so no stress with towels and early morning rush to secure a place by the pool. The beach area has an abundance of loungers and the sandy beach with shower facilities is also beyond expectations. The sea was pleasant to bath despite the time of year.
I do believe dining is where the Ikaros excels. The main dining area offers a great variety of food pizza, pasta, greek and much more. Breakfast options are plentiful and if being picky the porridge could do with a little recipe review as it was often oats in milk rather than integrated. There are three a la carte options Greek, Italian and Asian. All with sea views, great service and ambience. Shout out to the Asian restaurant staff for there care and attention even providing a blanket for us for the night chill.
The bar areas are also great. Well stocked and again great service. Shout out to George and Marian for going the extra mile and their engaging and friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble allowing us to relax in this special place.
Rooms were serviced daily with top ups of drinks and changes of towels etc. Again this was discrete and low key. I particularly like the fact that you requested a room clean as you vacated your room rather than the early morning intrusive and uncomfortable knocks you experience in some hotels - great touch.
The test of any holiday/hotel is, would we go back? The answer is 'YES'. We are already exploring dates for an early May return in 2026.
Like I note there are some minor negative feedbacks in our contribution. Perfect is hard to attain but with slight tweaks then Ikaros will be very close to it
Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

This is a beautiful resort complete with a lovely, natural setting, many pools to choose from, a lovely beach and several bars and delicious restaurants to choose from. All of the staff were so kind and accommodating. We would be happy to stay here again and would highly recommend it!

Great place for couples. Fabulous setting and amazing food. Drinks are a bit expensive but you can get your own from the local supermarket. Very popular with German guests. Probably 90% of the guests were German. Entertainment excellent apart from the DJ who mainly catered for the Germans and Germany is not renowned for its music! Only downside is the amount of smoking. Everyone seemed to be smoking everywhere. I am an ex smoker but this was a bit of surprise for a Luxury Resort and Spa.We booked a day trip to Knossos which is only 38 minutes away according to Google but with all the pick ups and drops offs, we spent nearly 4hrs on the coach. Highly recommend private transfer. We were in our hotel an hour after landing! And the room was ready. Also booked late check out until 6pm for an extra €60. Don't forget the tourist tax at €15 per day per room. We would definitely return though.
