We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Fénix. The adults-only atmosphere was very relaxing, and the hotel looked beautiful with all the Christmas decorations and a lovely tree. Our room was spotlessly clean and very quiet, which made for a peaceful stay.
The location is unbeatable—everything was within easy walking distance, including the train station, local shops, and the beach.
One of the highlights was the heated pool; being able to go for a swim on Christmas Eve was a real treat!
We really enjoyed the food as well. Breakfast had a great selection of both cooked items and fresh pastries, but the highlight was definitely the fresh omelettes made by the chef right in front of you—they were amazing! The Christmas Eve dinner was also a particularly nice touch that we really appreciated. A big thank you to the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel so welcome. We would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel. Location is excellent. A few minutes to the beach, town centre and to public transport, where you can get to Malaga in less than half an hour. The room was spacious and spotless. Staff were excellent. Food options at dinner and breakfast were varied and there was something for everyone. The pool area and terrace were lovely to chill and enjoy the sunshine. It was nice to see the hotel busy, even in November, which shows how popular it is. Will definitely be back.

Me and my boyfriend just got back from staying here a few days. The hotel was lovely rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable even though it was two singles pushed together. The only negative was that the air-con was on the loud side but the hotel itself was quiet (you couldn’t hear people in the rooms next door or above). We paid to have breakfast included and definitely wasn’t disappointed loads to choose from and the fresh fruit was delicious. The pool side was lovely but could have done with some low background music as the silence did make it a little uncomfortable when walking to sit on the loungers. Staff were nice enough especially the breakfast staff always greeting us with a smile and saying good morning overall great location and hotel.

A little gem of a hotel, in a fantastic location between the beach and the town centre. We have just had a week at the Fenix Hotel, It was great. The rooms are bright airy with very comfortable beds. The meals are varied and plentiful with a fantastic breakfast. Lovely staff. We will certainly return next year.

1 month prior to coming to hotel specifically asked for single large mattress. Got told that will get it by hotel personnel via email. On arrival hotel personnel told me that it’s impossible, that all rooms with king size beds are pushed together single beds and only mattress topper helps not to fall between. Actual mattress base is very unstable as well. Unacceptable, especially for the price range.
Only location and personnel is great. The rest is very bad. Slow internet, unstable beds, AC very loud and high humidity in rooms with high settings, sound proof doesn’t exist, small and old TV. Ok the hotel can be 1980-90 stile, but for that price it definitely doesn’t have that should have
