The hotel is right in the middle of things. We had half board, so breakfast and dinner. Lunch is not really needed. There is a big choice for both breakfast and dinner. Always tables available. We also used the gym which is small but sufficient. We stayed on the 10th floor so got a great view. Cleaning is done daily. The towels and sheets are unfortunately changed daily, which is not so good. On the whole, this hotel gets a very good rating and is recommended. Note, for adults only.

The location and views are the best thing about this hotel, but otherwise it seems like a hotel that used to great in the 80s and hasn’t been updated since. Everything is very old, you have to pay to use the safe, our mattress was slanted down on one side, and the amenities are minimal. I wouldn’t consider this a four star hotel at all, but it is clean with a great location.

Fantastic location, fantastic service, tasty desserts. The rooms are kept clean by the hard working and delightful cleaners who are amazingly helpful. The bar staff make the most amazing cocktails 🍸. And most importantly you feel safe there.

This hotel while older is a wonderful hotel, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, the rooms have balconies with fabulous views, air conditioning that cools the room quickly with overhead fan to circulate the air, there is a fridge and kettle and a safe that can be hired for your stay with an excellent cleaning service every day. The pool area is very relaxed with plenty of loungers and a very friendly life guard Aaron who keeps the place great and ensures loungers are not reserved all day without use. There is a snack and bar service poolside with friendly staff. There are activities day and night if you want them and all looked like good fun. The food while not excellent is very good with lots of choice. I liked the breakfast very much with fresh made to order items the hotel staff are wonderful efficient and warm and friendly and always helpful. I would definitely return if going to Porta de la Cruz.

Although very in need of renovation - just step back into 1983 The hotel staff were all so friendly, the place was spotless , rooms cleaned daily. The food was great with a huge choice each day a new dish (obviously same food also) The pool was small but well maintained Adults Only and to be honest the whole area felt that way , so perfect for couples Only negative - not much of a beach Very rocky , definitely need some beach shoes to get in and out - but just across the road from hotel there is a bricked swimming pool, paddle pool and lots of loungers (cost to get in) Hotel would be a 5 Star ⭐ if renovations were done. High 4 ⭐
