Lynda returned for a second visit!
Wow, you won't find better staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Help with the WiFi, minor problem the room dealt with swiftly.
Everywhere spotless. As said in a previous review the pool attendants work constantly keeping the area clean and tidy. Removing items from sunbeds which have been " reserved" for too long. So kind and helpful.
Sangria in the bar before dinner evey night. All drinks reasonably priced. Great selection of food and different choices each night. Conveniently situated for lovely flat walks. For example all the way to Punta Brava. Martinez beach is only two minutes away. I could go on forever. We have booked again for Christmas and New year.

This hotel while older is a wonderful hotel, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, the rooms have balconies with fabulous views, air conditioning that cools the room quickly with overhead fan to circulate the air, there is a fridge and kettle and a safe that can be hired for your stay with an excellent cleaning service every day. The pool area is very relaxed with plenty of loungers and a very friendly life guard Aaron who keeps the place great and ensures loungers are not reserved all day without use. There is a snack and bar service poolside with friendly staff. There are activities day and night if you want them and all looked like good fun. The food while not excellent is very good with lots of choice. I liked the breakfast very much with fresh made to order items the hotel staff are wonderful efficient and warm and friendly and always helpful. I would definitely return if going to Porta de la Cruz.

Fantastic food, comfortable stay – but some areas need updating
The buffet was absolutely fantastic – delicious food with plenty of options for gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. The variety and quality of the meals were truly impressive!
The room was very quiet with a stunning view, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we slept really well. However, the room itself felt a bit old and worn, as did the reception area and lobby. The design in the dining area also felt a bit cheap, and it’s a shame there was no kettle provided in the room.
Overall, a very pleasant stay, especially thanks to the amazing food and peaceful atmosphere, but the hotel could definitely benefit from some renovation.

Quite enjoyed this holiday, but we hit 4 cloudy days, still warm though.
Would I go again, to the hotel yes, but we walked just about everywhere to walk to so would go to a different town.
Stand out was the friendly staff, the food was better than average and plentiful.

Really lovely hotel, nicely positioned near the small town of Puerto de la Cruz.
Lovely restaurant and we were really impressed with the variety of meals, both at breakfast and dinner.
Rooms very comfortable, but we missed not having the tea/coffee available, we had a kettle and cups only, however no big deal buying tea bags and milk round the corner. 😊😊 Nice pool and ample loungers even when the hotel was full.
