We stayed for five nights at Castellum Suites because of its great location close to the Old Town. Our stay didn’t get off to the best start, as the first room we were given had a very strange odour. However, once we spoke to the reception staff—who were incredibly friendly and helpful—they offered us a choice of three alternative rooms to view and choose from. We ended up moving to a nice, spacious, and clean room, which made a big difference.
The hotel itself could do with some updating, but it was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It operates on a full-board basis, which wasn’t really something we needed as we preferred to eat out at local restaurants in the Old Town. That said, we did eat in the restaurant on our first night, and the food was really good—fresh with a nice variety. Breakfast was also a full buffet with plenty of options to choose from.
The pool area is a little unusual in how the seating is arranged, but the pool itself is a good size and perfect for cooling off in the heat.
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff—from reception to housekeeping and hospitality, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend it, especially for its location and excellent staff.

I stayed here with my husband and daughter, the location is perfect to explore the old town and surrounding area.
The staff are all friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The food was amazing, always a varied choice of well cooked and delicious dishes.
It’s clear that the chef and his team care about what is being served.
We read previous reviews and were sceptical, but honestly it was all truly amazing.
Special mention to reception and dining room staff.
Don’t be put off by previous reviews, book it and you will love it as we did.

Within a few minutes walk of Rhodes old town, I found Castellum suites a perfect base to visit Rhodes Town and further afield. The food was brilliant with large choice daily. Very diverse selection of drinks, cocktails, teas coffee etc. Staff very friendly and approachable and did their upmost to ensure you had everything you needed. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis of you wanted and always a neat and tidy job done. Pool area was clean with unusual seat, but these were comfortable although may not suit everyone's taste. All in all we had a fantastic stay.

Highly not recommended for families. Swimming pool with a water that requires checking, strange things swimming in it and noone is monutoring the water quality. On top of that it is closing at 17.30. Very poor food offered on AIncl. Smoking everywhere, even in the reception elect.cigarettes are smoked. Area is not nice. Bulidings around old and require renovation. Vety loud guests partying at nighy. Hotel is good for teens and party people only. Comfy beds though and cleaning every day on the plus side. Poor view.

Thank you Rafaela, Kiki, Vasiliki and Matina.We were a family of 6 ages ranged from 15-90. 4 women and 2 men. The hotel is very well kept all the rooms we had on the 4th floor were clean and well maintained, and cleaned each day. The food was changed every day with various themes, in isolation I would rate the food 3/5. Drinks were of a good calibre and you have all inclusive drinks as well as mainstream alcohol. We had 2 nights of extra entertainment, traditional Greek dancers and music and then a Saxophonist. What value for money.
The hotel is ideally placed within walking distance of the shops in New Town and castle wall entrances in Old Town along with the harbour. However what really made it for me was all the staff. From the bar, to the waiters, to the kitchen all very courteous, polite and friendly, however the ladies that put my family at ease were the receptionist team. Specifically, Rafaela , Kiki, Vasiliki and Matina. We had a number of apprehensions that they resolved. Gave up ideas of places to visit, accommodated my elderly father and mother in law. They made the holiday worth it . Castellum Management, make sure you pay them more money !!
