Great medium sized hotel in the centre of Rhodes City, close to the Old Town. I was only here for 3 nights as my husband was in the hospital. The staff were so kind and helpful, I enjoyed the food, there was enough choice for me but it wasn't vast.
The pool is quite small and looked as though it might be in the shade, but I'm not sure, I was at the hospital most of the time.

Standard room with a garden view. We arrived early, but they checked us in without any problems because there were rooms available. I booked in advance and specified that I needed a room with two beds. We were given a room with two beds, but they were pushed together and covered with one sheet. I asked the maid to bring additional sheets and a blanket to separate the beds. Two maids came in literally five minutes later and changed everything. We found out that one of the beds was missing a leg. We called a repairman, who fixed it quickly. But he came in with his outdoor shoes on, which left dirt everywhere.
The rooms are dirty (the walls and curtains are very dirty).
The shower was clean, no mold. Large stationary bottles are filled with soap, shampoo, and shower gel. They wash well and do not dry out the skin. Each person is given two towels and one for the floor. There is a hairdryer and toilet paper.
There is a safe in the room; to set it up, you need to get a key at the reception. Excellent wifi. There is a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, cardboard cups, two 0.5 liters of water (there was water only once upon arrival, they did not bring it on subsequent days). Cleaning and towel change every day. We were very surprised by the switch and socket under the pillow (the bed could not be moved).
We had three meals a day. The food was excellent and varied. The bar with local drinks is included. All the staff (reception, waiters, bartenders, maids) are very friendly and welcoming, helpful with everything, and answer any questions.
One major downside was that we stayed at the hotel at the same time as a group of high school students. The boys behaved appallingly, especially at night when they were very loud, and even though we were on different floors, they were very disruptive and only calmed down in the morning.

Rooms are beautiful and spacious.
The hotel staff go above and beyond for you.
Food is good and there is so much choice.
Location is key, and this hotel is right in tue midst of old town, new town and harbour.
100% recommend

Had an amazing and great experience with my stay here for a few days and the staff and hotel itself were amazing and very helpful.
Staff were brilliant and very helpful with guides and inquiries for travel and location.
One member of staff Rania who was front of house at the hope dado was amazing and made our stay so much more enjoyable and gave us the best experience for a first time in Greece Rhodes. Without her hospitality out stay would’ve been very different
Food and drink were to a very good standard and very accommodating with personal preferences with both food and drink choices and made our stay top tier.
Would very much recommend as it is in all inclusive hotel and very good priced for what you get with your stay.
Thank you again for the brilliant hospitality and stay here.

My husband and I have just recently spent a week at the Castellum Suites all inclusive. The hotel is clean with a very nice reception area, and we found the reception staff very helpful. The pool area was a real disappointment, being very poky and cramped. There are no sunbeds around the pool, only couches so you can't sunbathe properly. We didn't use the pool area at all, preferring to walk around 1.5 miles daily to Ellie beach and pay for sunbeds there. The food at the all inclusive buffet was good and varied although the restaurant gets very busy at certain times. One particular member of the restaurant staff was very unapproachable and looking at the guests with very obvious scorn and derision. There was some evening entertainment which was generally very good, with some talented local dancers and musicians. Finally the bar area. The all inclusive drinks were terminated at 10.30pm! The drinks provided were of very poor quality. You could not get a large beer, but only a half pint. You could not taste the spirits, and on one occasion I asked for gin and I am honestly not sure what I was drinking. The pina colada was around 90% pineapple juice. The gentleman behind the bar was abrupt, unfriendly and unhelpful with absolutely no idea about customer service whatsoever. He didn't actually speak to you when getting your drinks. If you don't mind walking, the location is quite good as the hotel is fairly near to the spectacular Old town. This was a big plus for us.
