I've never seen such a friendly and helpful staff at any hotel in my life. The hotel was wonderful, the beach was magnificent, and the food was delicious and varied. Everything was perfect, and the animation team was incredibly energetic. Highly recommended, especially for families and newlyweds. It deserves more than 5 stars. I hope we'll be back soon with a larger group.

The hotel facilities and lounge areas are beautifully designed and very well maintained. You feel welcome and relaxed from the very first moment.

All staff members were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. Their kindness truly made the stay special.
Food & Drinks (4/5)
• Breakfast: Good, but unfortunately lacking variety as the options were almost the same every day.
• Lunch & Dinner: Excellent – delicious, fresh, and different dishes served daily.
• Bars: Everything was well organized, offering great and tasty cocktails.
Beach & Extras (3/5)
The beach crêpes were tasty, but only one staff member was preparing them, which led to long waiting times (10–15 minutes). With two staff members, the service could be much smoother.
Transport & Organization (3/5)
Ordering taxis through the hotel, especially on Fridays, was inconvenient since they had to be booked at least one hour in advance. Tip for future guests: better book taxis on weekends directly yourself, not through the hotel.
Entertainment & Activities (3/5)
• Daytime: Very nice and enjoyable activities with a lot of variety.
• Evening: Mostly dancing shows – more diversity would have been appreciated.
• Fridays: The entertainment team took a well-deserved break, which is understandable, but it would have been nice to at least have some music around the pool. Without it, Fridays felt a bit quiet unless going out to Faliraki.
Wi-Fi (2/5)
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi connection was weak and unstable in several areas of the hotel. For a 4-star resort, this could be improved significantly.

We booked from July 30th-August 10th
We have been to calypso beach for the last three years and will return again next year.
The staff at the hotel are brilliant and it’s nice that a lot of them are still there from our last holiday.
The hotel is clean and tidy and is well looked after. The maids do a great job and take pride in there work.
The beach is awesome and is well looked after by calypso staff whom are very polite and take great pride in keeping the calypso are of the beach looked after.

Food -
Overall very good my only crisis would be is that the menu is very German, Austrian etc and there could be more variety offered especially for children. Always something to have but some better options (English) would be appreciated.
Maybe some more snacks could be offered in the evening as it’s onky peanuts and crisps which the kids demolished before anyone had a look in! Ha!
Gym -
Really small, needs updating with some newer machines and some kind of air conditioning put in as it was unbearable at times
Entertainment -
The one down part for us. The new team didn’t really interact with anyone that wasn’t German. Same for the kids club.
Didn’t agree with the movie nights on the main stage and being in German it made it hard for all kids to be involved maybe this could be looked at going forward?
We love the calypso hotel and the staff there we are always welcomed and made to feel at home Nico, Geroge etc have been there everytime we have gone and go above and beyond.
It’s a lovely hotel with everything you could want and ask for…

The entertainment activities were a true highlight especially the Pink Wave team which added so much fun and great energy to our stay. the team was incredibly friendly and welcoming

Very nice place. We spent there whole week. Service Team helpful and kind. Delicious meals and drinks. Everyday different meals to choose from. Cleaning service invisible:) but very effective. I recommend this place and whole Rhodes Island.
