Mixed review as a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 young children. Hotel is located perfectly. Walk down to the beach is 5 minute. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. On arrival we informed reception about a tile hanging off on the bathroom floor which our 1 year old tripped over. Was told it would be fixed and wasn't the rest of the stay. Bathroom door handle also having off with loose screws. Air con ridiculously loud. No noise from other rooms though. The food in the hotel restaurant is very poor. Not a big variety for kids. I was also served raw chicken (very raw) and informed the waiter and it wasn't a shock to her. The restaurant floor is always covered in ants and cockroaches. No labelling on the desserts ,also if you have allergies I would avoid it comepltly as there was nuts on every single spatular used for the desserts. Evening entertainment is also poor. The mini disco isn't on 3 times a week. And when it is on it's 3/4 songs and it's done with. On one night the entertainment didn't even show up.BE AWARE - that in the arcade the token machine says 5 euros , 10 euros etc but when you click for 5 euros it charges your card 50 euros! Luckily my partner noticed before he put his card to it. Reguarding the building works that I have seen a lot of negative reviews about, there is very minimal been done and when they are working they're as discreet as they can be and it doesn't effect the atmosphere around the pool. There's also not a lot to do for family's with children around without travelling out of area. Overall we wouldn't return here unfortunately.

We stayed at Hotel Best Siroco for 6 nights at the beginning of the year. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a premium room. The room was clean, comfortable, and we were very happy with it. The balcony had a beautiful sea view, which made the stay even better.
The buffet food was okay nothing special, but it’s a good option if you prefer staying at the hotel instead of looking for restaurants and waiting for meals. Just don’t expect to taste many local dishes.
The staff was amazing: everyone was kind, smiling, and polite, whether it was the restaurant staff, housekeeping, or the reception. The location is also excellent: only 5 minutes to the beach and about 15 minutes to the city center. Overall, I would warmly recommend this hotel.

Brilliant location, and although there was a new pool and bar area being constructed it didn't effect our stay. Our first room was 410 and it had the most disgusting smell, it was so bad we couldn't sleep, the wardrobe did not open properly and the bathroom was ridiculous, if you wanted to sit on the toilet you had to reverse in as the sink unit was right up to the toilet. We brought our concerns to reception the next morning and they changed our room to 420, which was perfect. Breakfast was brilliant, so much selection with fresh omelettes being made to order. Although some of the rooms are a little tired , I would certainly recommend it for its location.

We booked an eight night stay in August 2025 for April 2026, reserving a Premier Room with Drinks Package. This package was advertised as including tea and coffee making facilities, slippers, two bottles of water and two soft drinks daily in the room, and a bottle of wine and water each evening at dinner.
Upon arrival, we were allocated a room overlooking the garden pool area. We were extremely disappointed to discover that major construction work was taking place directly outside our room. There were approximately ten workers present, with continuous noise from drills, saws, and cement mixers. At no point during booking were we informed of this significant construction project.
We contacted reception and requested a room change to avoid the disturbance. While no alternative room was available that night, we were offered a different room the following evening, which we accepted.
Although the new room had a better view, it was clearly in poor condition.
The issues included:
• The bathroom extractor fan not working
• The vanity mirror light not functioning
• A loose toilet roll holder
• Missing grout between tiles
• An internal bedroom door handle coming away from its screws.
• A balcony sliding door with no exterior handle, making it difficult to re enter if fully closed
• A cracked mirror on the sliding wardrobe door
• A fist sized hole in the wall that had been poorly patched with plaster and left unfinished.
Despite these issues, we felt uncomfortable making further complaints at the time.
In addition, the Premier Drinks Package was not provided correctly. There were no slippers, tea or coffee facilities, or daily drinks delivered to the room. After raising this issue with reception, we were assured it would be resolved the same day; however, it was not.
The following day, the situation remained unchanged and we had to contact reception again before housekeeping finally addressed the matter. This was already three days into our holiday. At no point did we receive an apology or any gesture of goodwill. This level of service fell well short of what would be expected from a premium offering.
We also noted that on check in, there was very little explanation of hotel facilities. Important details—such as how the restaurant operated or the fact that pool towels required a deposit from reception and were issued by the pool attendant—were not explained.
To be fair, there were some positive aspects. At the time of booking, the half board rate was the most affordable in the area. Dinner was plentiful, the hotel was conveniently located near the marina, and there were bus stops directly outside.
In summary, we believe that:
• We should have been informed in advance of the major construction works
• We did not receive the full Premier package as booked
• No apology, compensation, or discount was offered despite the inconvenience.
Had we been aware of the construction, we would not have made this booking. Overall, the experience did not meet the standard advertised or expected.

Visited for a week B&B. Jet 2 informed us of the construction works a week before departure and by that point there was no availability of other hotels in this location within budget. So we had no choice but to stay here really.
To be honest the weather wasn’t great so the construction works didn’t really affect us as we weren’t by the pool except for one day. If it had been sunbathing weather we would have got annoyed. Especially since there is no pool bar or no pool toilets. You have to walk back up the hill and steps to the hotel reception area and use the toilets there and that bar.
The rooms weren’t very clean, old bugs had been squashed on the ceilings, walls and curtains and not been cleaned off. The skirting board didn’t meet the wall and therefore we had spiders and other insects come into the room. Gaps around the ceiling where it meets the wall. Poorly finished and definitely not 4star worthy. The hairdryer was poor, better off standing on the balcony and let the wind dry your hair.
On a positive, the shower was great and the beds comfortable and large.
Breakfast was great with lots of choice of hot and cold options and the Prosecco on offer perked us up. Although it was very loud in the large room with no fresh air.
The hotel really needs to do something regarding guests running up and down corridors during the night causing disruption.
The only reason we chose this hotel was because of the location. It’s great to get to all parts of Benalmadena and we walked into Torremolinos one afternoon which took us around an hour.
In my opinion this is not a 4star hotel. The money used for a pointless infinity pool which is currently being built should be spent on improving the dated rooms and cleaning up the sun-bed and pool area and soundproofing the corridors and restaurant.
