A very pleasant experience, a hotel with a beautifully landscaped exotic garden, with an added charm and funny decorations inspired by Halloween (I was accommodated at the end of October). Every evening they organized live music shows, magic, flamenco dancing and others. It is located very close to the sea and the cliff (max. 5 min. walk), the food is diverse and good, in an open buffet system (we had half board) and although we paid for a standard room they were kind and accommodated us in superior rooms with a view of the sea and the garden with swimming pools (theoretically they were more expensive). One of the special moments I enjoyed was the day I celebrated 30 years of marriage, during my stay at this hotel. Together with the reception staff, who were very responsive, attentive and kind, I managed to organize a pleasant surprise for my wife and the friends I was accommodated with there. I really appreciate the involvement and support provided by the hotel and its staff :)

This hotel was clean, comfortable bed, clean bedsheets. Unfortunately the shower had didn't work but there was a bathtub which was enough. The area around the hotel is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the seating arrangement in the buffet is ridiculous. The food is good and lots of variety. But they have you do this weird yellow sheet system and a ridiculous long waiting line waiting to be seated. The waiters are stressed at all times.

Spent 4 nights here in October with my wife. No major complaints, found it to be a great Hotel. Standing out foremost were the staff. Well turned out, friendly (99%), helpful, and in our opinion hardworking. This goes from Housekeepers (Teresa and others) to Dinning (Samara and others) to many bar staff (the small(ish) English girl), and Reception (who helped us check in earlier than expected).
Arrival was bit discombobulated due to not being able to check in, nor being aware of any delay (not Hotels fault); an area is available in the Gym to shower and change. It's basically a Public toilet, with not much privacy; so you can drag your suitcases down there to rummage through - better than nothing!
Room was comfortable and clean, should have requested a kettle, but apart from that, a powerful shower and cleaned daily. Beds very very comfortable, balcony practical, small fridge, hair dryer, no iron - almost everything you need in a hotel room!
Food was good, lots and lots of selection, though beware Spanish tend to undercook most of their meats etc - not to everyone's taste! Very comprehensive selection, and varied on a daily basis. Made to order stir fry's were very nice, as were the MTO omelettes in the morning; a nice touch... Something for everybody!
Pool area is nice, though the Balinese beds could do with a little maintenance/attention/cleaning. Fresh towels are provided daily, and this area does represent a peace of mind regardless, for a little extra cost at 15/20 euros daily, depending on whether you want a bottle of wine/cava sitting in a bucket of ice alongside you!
Location was fine, close enough to everything for the upwardly mobile, a hill or steps down to the street, then beach. Beware the 'Supermarket' adjacent to the parking area, on the hill, at the main entrance to the Hotel - everything is over priced for the unsuspecting, and the hospitality is a flat zero! Much better super(mini)markets only yards away on the flat main street...
The Staff give this Hotel a heartbeat!
Thank-you Hotel Siroco!
On a side note: The green monk parakeets; a noisy Argentine invader from the 1970's, they can be heard easily around the Hotel due to their high decibel cawing, these individuals live in communal nests in the palm tree crowns. They are aggressive dive bombers, and work in numbers to browbeat morsels of food from the natives. Culls have been initiated in certain areas against these birds, and others wish to commence them due to property damage, disease, public safety, and agricultural harm (Photos Inc.). Along with view from Balinese beds, a selection of desserts, and view from balcony

We have just spent 10 days at the Best Siroco Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and quick to respond to requests or queries. The hotel has lovely gardens and pool area where we never struggled to get a sunbed. The food was good with lots of choice and replenished quickly. Bedding and towels were changed frequently. The area is quite hilly, some of which are steep but my husband is 94 and still managed well. If you are having difficulties mobility scooters can be hired from the hotel and taxis are very reasonable. This was our 3rd visit this year and we are hoping to go again next year. There will always be some people who have negative comments but everyone we spoke to was very satisfied and said they would return.

The hotel has truly lived its golden age and time has flown by. It is a place popular with pensioners, with a shabby appearance and many places in disrepair. The elevators do not work and get stuck, but on the other hand, there is a lot of exercise on the stairs. Breakfast is practically the same every day, of course it was plentiful and varied. There is a great deal of variation in customer service. Most of them are competent, but one is completely incompetent and rude. The location is quite good, the price level is ok and the pool area is quite functional.
