This is an excellent hotel with outstanding facilities throughout. The gym is well-equipped and maintained to a high standard. The rooftop terrace is spacious and features a lovely pool. While it isn’t the largest pool, it’s perfect for cooling off and relaxing.
The rooms are generously sized, with very comfortable and spotlessly clean beds. A fridge is also provided for guests’ convenience.
The breakfast is absolutely fantastic, offering a huge variety of options. Highlights include freshly cooked pancakes and made-to-order omelettes prepared to your liking.
Most importantly, all of the staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a really lovely stay at Barceló Málaga. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a standard room to a premium one, which was a very kind gesture and a great start to the trip.
When we got to the room, we did run into an issue with the safe. Since we had passports and valuables, it was important for us to have it working. We contacted reception and a staff member came up,he was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately didn’t fully resolve or test the issue before leaving, so we had to call again. The second staff member who came up was excellent, much more thorough and well-prepared. Although it took a few hours and involved replacing part of the safe, the issue was eventually sorted, which we appreciated.
The hotel itself was really clean and well-maintained. We also used the pool area a couple of times, it’s a nice space with a good atmosphere, and there’s a pool bar serving snacks, which were tasty. One thing to note is that the pool isn’t heated (something my fiancé discovered the hard way!), and as the weather was a bit overcast, we didn’t use it as much as we might have otherwise.
The only minor downside was that bottled water was €3, which felt a bit expensive: but there’s a supermarket just around the corner, so that was an easy workaround.
A fun highlight was the slide in the middle of the hotel, which my fiancé absolutely loved—it added a unique and playful touch to the stay.
The location is also a big plus, with excellent transport links. We used the metro almost every day to get into the city centre and back, which made getting around very convenient.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay in a clean, well-located hotel with friendly staff. We’d definitely consider staying again.

My friends and I stayed for threes night for a girls trip away. The hotel was lovely, staff were great and the guest services staff made our arrival for a birthday extra special. We will all definitely be back.

Breakfast was nice, pool service was good, close to walk to shopping food, behind Maria zambrano. N the hotel has its own entrance to the metro, city is easy enough to just to take the metro, if you do t want to pay for cabs. Although Uber was pretty cheap. Beautiful hotel, clean rooms. I recommend highly.. so many extra perks.

Just come back from a wonderful 4 night break.
Great train service from Airport direct to centre next to Hotel. Few Euros tap on and off.Staff are all fantastic and Oscar was so friendly and gave an excellent service.The roof top pool was great for relaxing and bar provided a good selection of snacks and drinks.Rooms are well equipped and beds really comfortable.Just a 15 minute walk to the old town and Harbour.
Great base and will definitely go back .
