Just returned from 4 nights stay. we was in room 404 which had a sea view. Our front door was above drunken monkey, however the pub over the road was soo noisy even after 1am.
However this didn't bother us, especially for 4 nights.
Room had everything you needed, a little air fryer would have been ideal.
We also had aircon but didn't need it due to weather not being great.
3/4 min walk to shopping centre where you had Zara, super market, berska and more.
Beach is about 10/15 min walk.
About 6/7 min walk to strip with an amazing Mexican and Chinese.
Swimming pool could do with a refurb however was ok.
Little bar in hotel is great.
Hotel also have a small laundry and a shop on site.
We got the bus from the airport to the hotel, which was really easy and cost £2.80 for two people.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
5 minute walk to a beautiful harbour
We would certainly return to this hotel. It is standard and has everything you need.

Our first time staying at Costa Volcan and can say we loved it. Rooms basic but clean and bright. We had a nice balcony with a sea view and overlooking pool. The location was good. Loved the old town and the strip all in walking distance.
Loved Puerto Del Carmen and its beaches.
Will be back and definitely would stay here again

Overall a very basic hotel in a great location. The rooms were basic, but clean. You pay a deposit for the tv remote, the room safe is payable locally by the night, something I feel should be provided as standard. The bedd were comfortable. The big issue I have with the rooms however is there is NO AIRCON. Wasn't too bad this time of year, but could not imagine staying here in the summer.
The WiFi was quite poor with intermittent signal.
Pool area is nice with a decent amount of sun loungers.

This hotel is great if you’re looking for something extremely basic. About ten mins walking from the main strip.
However, there were many noticeable problems
There are many hidden charges, including WiFi, 5 euros per DAY for the safe, and there is no aircon so if you want to hire a fan it’s another 20 euros. we were also given a fan that was extremely dirty and did not work. ( see images).
The facilities are extremely basic and tired, all needing a refit. Some rooms back onto a pub so can be loud. Staff are pretty friendly most of the time, which is good. There are no umbrellas outside so not many shaded places to sit. Pool is a bit rank too!
No rooms with double beds so if you come as a couple you will have to push the two beds together!
Frankly would not visit again. Although as I mentioned great if you’re on a budget and not looking to spend much time in your room!

I like this hotel, as it's very quiet around the pool. The rooms were very clean. Very friendly reception staff. Lots of sunbeds available also. The sun is in the pool area all day. The rooms had a kettle, toaster, washing up liquid and a sponge and a tea towel, which was very handy. I'm going back again in June for 1 week to relax
