I was nervous about coming here after reading the reviews, but honestly, so far, it’s been an amazing experience.
Our room is spacious, immaculately clean, and the ends very comfortable. We have beautiful view over both the mountains and sea. Great size balcony too. The extra sleep space for the kids is fantastic, well worth going for a suite.
The food has been great too, lots of choice, fresh, tasty! Both my kids are enjoying the food and so are we. Yes, I’d like to be able to eat in somewhere other than a buffet, but every meal has so much selection, I’m not bored.
The wines are good quality, particularly enjoying the rose.
The pools are brilliant, the splash park is great for younger kids, the sports & entertainment is fun and the staff really are enthusiastic.
Entertainment at night is great quality, not cheesy! My only complaint, the noise is the Lobby Bar is too loud!
The location isn’t as isolated as others have said. Just a short walk up the avenue and you have 4-5 restaurants, a mini mart, pharmacy etc. We have hired a car so we can explore more and I’d recommend that if you want to be able get out and about.
Highly recommend for families. My kids are aged 15 and 11 & are really enjoying it here.

Firstly, want to say a massive thank you to José, she went above and beyond to provide great customer service and was warm, welcoming and friendly.
We stayed here last week and had a lovely stay, the views were absolutely stunning, a stones throw away from the beach and there was plenty to do for children - the splash park and multiple pools was great. The children's evening entertainment was on too late - 9/9.30ish and could have done with being in a separate space because of this. The only let down was the evening entertainment, it was all in the same place and didn't start until
There was a good variety of food and with all inclusive there was snacks and meals for most of the day!

I had a reservation for a sea-view room at Hotel Sol and was considering an upgrade for my daughter’s birthday. When I spoke to Lucia at reception, she promised me the best view in Marbella—and she truly delivered.
The view was stunning, and the entire experience exceeded expectations. From the entrance to the restaurant, café, and bar, the whole staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional.
I’m truly grateful for the service we received. They made my daughter’s birthday very special.

Since the first minute we arrive in the hotel Lucia gave us the warmest welcome. The staff from the dinner were marvellous and really welcoming. The best of part of our experience, was our welcome amenity that Isabel the guest experience manager prepared for us. Their sense of hospitality is above everything I have seen so far. We will come back for sure!

Good stay for 7 night 2-9th November half board, breakfast & dinner good, comfy clean modern rooms, the hotel is about a 15min walk to nearest restaurant or main street so ideally need a car if you you are going places.
A few small dislikes from stay was it was €77 for the weeks car parking which was in our opinion rather high, you can park on the street nearby for free but again you need to walk down and back a narrow busy road, also beware of pricing for drinks in restaurant if your not all in inclusive and paying cash. Basically two cokes small bottles cost €7 sun - Thurs but went upto €9 on the Friday and Saturday and when paid with a €10 note each night the waiter never came back with change, now they would have got the change as a tip anyway but it’s polite not to assume.
Overall a good stay though.

Lovely hotel with a perfect beachfront location! The staff is super friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. We loved the beautiful pool area and the fantastic rooftop bar, which offers delicious drinks and amazing sea views. It’s also within walking distance to Estepona Port via the beach.
Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked for two nights, otherwise we would have gladly stayed another night. We highly recommend this place.

We have just got home from 7 days at H10 Estepona Palace hotel. We had a lovely time the hotel is spacious, clean and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Lots to do if you want Pilates, aqua aerobics, tennis, archery, darts, table tennis and pool the entertainment staff are hard working and friendly. I chose to relax around the pool and didn't use the spa or gym. In the evening they have bingo before the live entertainment which were singers, dancers and a magician. Lovely chill out / Mediterranean bar which felt very modern with amazing views over the sea and Gibraltar. We stayed in a superior room 301 which was very spacious and we got the evening sun on the balcony which really suited us, we also had a partial sea view. Nice comfy chairs in the room and TV with English channels, safe, fridge, air conditioning and tea and kettle ( no coffee ) although you can hire a coffee machine. We just bought coffee from the supermarket. We had an over the bath shower it was not too bad as it had grab rails and the hotel provided a bath mat, the shower was hot and powerful although the grouting and tiling needed some maintenance. Bed was hard but we found it comfortable and we had 3 pillows each, shampoo, shower gel, hand wash and body lotion all provided in the bathroom and a daily towel change. Restaurant was good. We never waited for a table and food was plentiful and varied. There is also a microwave if you wanted to heat the food up. My only complaint would be the sparrows that were helping themselves to the food in the restaurant they were getting in through the electric doors and a lot of the food was not covered. There were only a couple of birds but I do not think this was hygienic. I think the cereal and bread and biscuits should be covered and also the pancakes and rice which the birds seemed to like. The birds were also a nuisance in the pool bar inside and especially outside if you were eating. The hotel is very green and provided re usable cups and water fountains in the bar lounge and by the pool bar. The pool area was lovely although the sunbeds were very dirty and not at all comfortable they looked like they were old and could do with replacing. Hotel is a 10 minutes bus ride to Estepona centre or 35 minutes walk along the sea front, we liked the fact the hotel was on the outskirts and was quiet but easily accessible to Estepona which is lovely and we went in 3 times for Coffee and Tapas. We will definitely return again. We were on half board basis which suited us fine. Drinks were reasonably priced in the hotel.

I don’t understand why this hotel has an average rating of 4.1. It is far better than this. Beautiful grounds right by the sea, stunning communal areas, very good dinner as part of half board (many freshly cooked to order fish and meat choices). Staff are friendly. Everything is superb
We upgraded to the privilege sea view room and it was worth it. You get access to an indoor lounge with a range of drinks (wine, spirits, soft drinks), open all day until 11pm. Also a private terrace with sunbeds and free drinks. A free newspaper each day too.
The only negative points for me were the stained carpets on the corridors to the rooms and the shabby/poorly finished bathrooms. Apart from that the rooms were great. We had a comfy bed, choice of pillows and terrace with sea view. Very quiet at night. Thoroughly recommend this hotel

I was in this hotel with an incentive group of 50 pax. It was a very nice time we had there. Hotel staff is very nice and kind. They were very flexible. We was working as a one team.
Food was very good, a lot of local tastes. There was a lot of smile and sun.
I want to come back soon.

Still on holiday here until tomorrow. Upon arrival we were greeted by a fantastic sea view room which was exceptionally large with a huge balcony area. The room facilities are excellent.
The cleaning staff are exceptional as are all of the members of staff that we have had dealings with. Reception staff very helpful as are the restaurant staff. Esepecially Paco in the restaurant who went above and beyond to please the guests. A very friendly and diligent member of staff. Ensuring everyone had everything they wanted. A credit to the restaurant team.
The hotel itself is in need of renovation. Torrential rain all week has unfortunately led to lots of leaks in public areas and also rooms, as well as occasional black outs. The staff, however were very quick to mop up any rain water to prevent any accidents and on hand placing plenty of buckets around. This hotel just needs a renovation makeover to restore it back to a more brighter and appealing accommodation. It is the only thing that let's it down in regards to the 4 star rating. Although its rained all week, we have had a great time and would definitely come back if this place was modernised and updated.

This was the first time I actually had to file complaints about a hotel. Awful experience. The room (we had the presidential suite) smelled like cheap cigars, there were ashes all over the place and stains of booze. Definitely not cleaned, our bath did not work. Everything is outdated, there's birds flying into the buffet, sitting on your breakfast. This might have been a nice hotel 30 years ago. My son's gift for his grandmother "disappeared" from our room!! When I asked management about this , she said she would come back to me but never did. On top of all that, they billed us for drinks and food we did not consume. The overpriced spa is worthless, and when the masseuse thought I was sleeping she stopped her session. This hotel is worth ZERO stars, stay away from this terribly managed thieves hole, it will ruin your beautiful vacation.

We had a fantastic time at Elba Estepona. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, we loved talking to the staff in the lobby bar (Yasmin & Nicoletta) super friendly and professional. The standard of food from the Roma & Andalus restaurants was extremely high- and even the snack menu in the lobby bar does not disappoint. Very large portions, super delicious. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be looking to book again in the future. Even had a nice surprise bottle of Prosecco for my partner’s birthday.

Staying at Elba Hotel was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The whole resort is right by the beach, which gives you that true holiday feeling from the moment you arrive. The pool has a stunning sea view — we could have stayed there all day just relaxing and taking it in.
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were absolutely brilliant — friendly, kind, and always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel completely taken care of.
What made the evenings special was the live music in the lobby most nights. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and full of good vibes — it really added to the overall experience and made every night feel memorable. And breakfast was simply amazing: fresh, varied, and full of delicious options to start the day right.
We do wish that spa access had been included in the stay, but even though we paid separately, we enjoyed it so much that it was worth it.
We already miss being there and would happily come back again without hesitation. A truly beautiful place with great energy, amazing service, and memories we’ll definitely carry with us.

I did not stay at this hotel, I went there to discover the spa facilities and ended up having a coffee and sandwich at the bar and combination cafe. The lady charged with serving was too busy flirting with a man at the bar and had little time for us. A five star restaurant and when a customer drops a knife you would expect the waiter to come to the table with a replacement, but no, she was to busy laughing and entertaining the sole guest at the bar. All it requires is a negative experience like this to turn a customer away for good. Needless to say, I will never patronize this place again. Quite a shame since the personnel at reception were very pleasant and the lobby is very beautiful and well decorated.
Gavin Seymour
Excellent service throughout our stay and in particular from Pedro in the restaurant who was exceptional. Our overall stay at the hotel was fantastic and our room had a great view of the sea. We also really enjoyed the live music from Mario on the Friday and Saturday evening.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and super clean, which made the whole stay feel really comfortable.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, bright, modern, and full of beautiful plants everywhere. It creates such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
The bar had a great vibe too. Perfect spot to unwind in the evening, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of.
Overall, a beautiful hotel with excellent service and a great atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

We had a great 5 night stay at Mett. The rooms were spacious and as advertised and the staff were friendly and very accommodating with our request and made the stay pleasant. We ended up with a deluxe room on the 3rd floor with a view of the ocean and pool. For the price we payed per night (300 euro) we felt that it was good value for the money when compared to other options in the area for the same price. The hotel didn’t feel like a massive resort like others in the area, though we stayed here in April which is sort of the off season.
The pool area was a nice place to relax during the afternoon. My one request to the hotel would be to lower the volume of music by the pool to make it a more relaxing environment. We enjoyed the food and drinks options by the pool. The location is 10 min drive from the historic district of Estepona.
Note that there was plenty of free street parking available and we opted for that instead of parking in the garage which was 30 euro a day. The area felt safe to leave the car outside. Plenty of nice cars were parked on the street.

Amazing Stay at METT Hotel Marbella!
I had a fantastic holiday at METT Hotel Marbella with my girlfriend. The location is absolutely perfect! Not far away from all the popular restaurants and beach clubs. The hotel also has its own private beach with complimentary sunbeds, and you can choose between a pool or sea view.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a romantic view that made our stay even more special. The food was delicious and of excellent quality throughout.
What truly stood out, however, was the service. It was beyond 5-star worthy! A special thank you to Sergio from the front office, who welcomed us so warmly at check-in and made sure everything was perfect during our entire stay. Thank you also for the lovely surprise – the bottle of bubbles in our room was a wonderful gesture!
Highly recommended! we can’t wait to come back!

METT Marbella Estepona is a stunning beachfront property supported by an outstanding team that genuinely cares about guest satisfaction. The atmosphere is vibrant and luxurious, the facilities are beautiful, and the service culture throughout the hotel is exceptional. Every department contributed to creating a seamless and memorable stay. One of the most complete luxury hotel experiences we have had on the Costa del Sol

This is just the beginning of my trip, but I can already see this hotel is not 5* standard. Maybe spain have different 5* standard. The bathroom doesn’t have a HANDWASH. and also don’t have trash can…. For the tea cups, there were 2 sets of cups, but only 1 spoon. Also, the Hand & body balm was left like this for us to use. It is that hard to clean the tube ?? Room service should be really educated AGAIN. Those small things shows if you are really 5* or not. Will update my review at the end of my stay.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Don’t know what to commend first but probably the staff need a notable mention - they really are motivated to provide the best service and experience for the guests and this makes the resort standout . We loved all the restaurants but had particularly wonderful lunches at Chiringuito on the beach managed by Darko. Also Juan and Cristian who tirelessly checked for drinks and service on the beach. We loved breakfast at the buffet and tried Provence ( fabulous) and Ouzo (incredible sea bass) as well as the Fusion, Italian and Spanish. The housekeeping was top notch. Rooms were comfortable with the mini bar full of quality items. We loved all the pools -which are all of a really good size for swimming proper lengths and we especially liked the policy of adults only or 12+ pool areas- if our kids were younger we would’ve appreciated all the kids areas and facilities. I loved the aqua-aerobics and enjoyed yoga and Pilates . The surroundings are so beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. What a fantastic holiday - said by someone who would normally stay well clear of an ‘all in’ resort.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Ikos Andalusia.
The place was very clean, including the surrounding beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Jerlyn at reception, Tomas and Ernesto at the pool area, Domenika at Provence, Asteris at Fresco and Maria at the Beach Club.
The food was great, overall. The only one we really didn’t like was the food at Anaya, which we found to be probably the worst Asian food we have tasted, and we’re Asian. Our child loved the unlimited ice cream at Ikos!
It is quite expensive but I think is well worth it for what you get. We will come back to an Ikos resort again soon.

Our 3rd Ikos hotel visit, they've all been fabulous, including Andalusia. Comfortable rooms, great resort layout, service is superb throughout. Delicious food everywhere, we couldn't eat in all our favourite places as they were booked up unfortunately. Staff are all amazing, you're so well looked after.
Disappointed we couldn't book the rental car experience as they were all fully booked weeks before we arrived. Also we can never seem to get a late checkout at Ikos aside from an extra hour in the room. The courtesy room was OK but rushed (45 min slot for 2 people, showers and final luggage prep wasn't enough, it was a bit cramped in the room)
Overall we had a fantastic stay, will be back

Very high quality accommodation and service. Do not miss the wines tasting - the sommeliers are excellent and very keen to share their knowledge and pair wines for you (Alicia, Jose). Italian restaurant is the standout for all meals Jose Maria made an evening special for us. Pool service is attentive. Finally the cocktail bar was a highlight - Angelo will make whatever you want and give you the inside track on AC Milan's prospects! The only issue is that I put on 5lbs in 5 days!!!!!!

I booked a short break (5days) on a recommendation with my daughter and granddaughter. Via Jet 2. Flight excellent.
Private transfer good about 1hr.
The landscaping as mentioned in previous reviews is well thought out and very well kept, beautiful planting everywhere.
Lots of pools to choose from and plenty of sun loungers, pool service easy via a bar scan code on sun umbrellas, as well as very attentive pool staff.
Restaurants good, lots of choice however, book well in advance if you prefer to eat early. We had room service a couple of times as table bookings were too late for us..room service was very good and relaxing.
Play area was nice for my granddaughter.
The children’s entertainers were fabulous too, so much fun with a singing along.
The onsite shops were handy, medical clinic too.
Overall, we loved it! Felt sad to leave.
Thank so much Ikos Andalusia for making a wonderful, memorable stay for us - it was very much needed 🩷
P.s your staff are amazing 👏 🌟
