Just came back from a short break with my daughters and we had the best time. The location isn't ideal if you want to get out and about but we just wanted somewhere to relax, swim and have fun so it was perfect for that. The food options were great, some of the best I've experienced as a vegetarian at an all inclusive. Everything was well labelled too. The entertainment team are fantastic and work so hard. My girls did some kids club activities and had great fun and the extra pool activities were fantastic. We loved The Greatest Showman show! The pools in general are lovely, though some of the sun loungers could do with a clean. My kids loved the splash park. We were also impressed by the accessibility of the hotel. The rooms were clean and we had a lovely a view. Sadly I didn't catch the name of the man on reception who checked us in but when we arrived dreary after delays at nearly 4am his friendly greeting and speedy service was so appreciated and reassured us we had made a great choice. We will definitely be back for a longer visit next year!

Just got back from here after 1 week with my family, 3 adults and 3 kids. Was quite disappointed in the hotel, the cleanliness is an issue and given its been stated in the reviews a few times it’s disappointing to see that this is an apparent issue and no effort to resolve this. Staff where often trying to sit us down at tables that haven’t been cleaned up, chairs are all in need of a clean down and good wash with soap! Cutlery wasn’t very clean we often had to swop it for more and also the cups around the pool you have drinks in where also not very clean , again I often had to ask for another cup. The pool could also do with a good clean, lots of bits and hair floating around in it. The hotel is also very Spanish orientated, we felt as a family this impacted our stay massively. The kids entertainment was all in Spanish and wasn't translated so we had no idea what we being said or anything so my children didn’t join in. Staff made no effort with English guest, none really knew much English at all so was struggling to ask for anything. The food was another issue, no hot food! It was all lukewarm/cold we were having to warm up our food in the microwave each time we was eating. Positives from our holiday, The room we had was nice and spacious with a great shower, both the pools were great for the kids all loved it other than I think it needed a better clean! We had a little issue in our room when we arrived and ended up speaking to the manager about this and she was very polite, very welcoming and was quick to get it sorted for us which resulting in us moving rooms which we were very thankful for. We Wouldn’t come to this hotel again and its unlikely we would recommend it, the location isn’t great if you’re wanting to go out for walks , see shops etc you need to get a taxi for this. Although I wouldn’t rate it down for this because that’s just where the hotel is situated and if Youv done your research you should know this already.

Would Not Recommend I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, our stay at this hotel left a lot to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the overall service was below expectations. The staff seemed more focused on monitoring us than making us feel welcome – constantly checking our wristbands while oddly ignoring other guests. It felt more like being supervised than on holiday. The food was very poor – repetitive, bland, and often cold. For an all-inclusive resort, we were shocked to find that we had to pay extra to access the snack bar. Not to mention, after 12am, you can’t even get a bottle of water, which is simply unacceptable in a hot climate. The room amenities were also disappointing. The shower gel and shampoo provided barely worked, which added to the overall feeling of neglect and low quality. To top it all off, one night we were actually kicked out of the restaurant by staff, without clear explanation. While some of the staff were friendly and helpful (credit where it’s due), it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall poor experience. Sadly, this hotel does not live up to the promise of a relaxing, all-inclusive holiday. Would not return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sol Meliá Hotel in Estepona! We were especially impressed by the all-inclusive offer – the food was truly excellent, very varied, and there was something new to try every day. The entire dining area was always very clean and welcoming, making it easy to feel right at home. The room service was outstanding: towels, bathrobes, and everything else you could need were always available in abundance and prepared with great care. We also really appreciated the thoughtful gesture of snacks and drinks provided when we checked out – such a lovely touch! For sports enthusiasts, the hotel is particularly attractive: there are great facilities for fitness, yoga, and much more. It’s also a fantastic choice for larger groups or sports clubs, especially for golf or football teams. I saw several clubs staying there and making great use of the excellent training and recreational opportunities nearby. The hotel offers the perfect mix of comfort, space, and facilities for teams looking to combine sport and relaxation. Another big plus: the Wi-Fi connection was stable and fast throughout the whole hotel, which made staying connected very easy. The entire staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can really feel that the team cares about making your stay special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the Sol Meliá Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great food, excellent service, plenty of sports activities, and a warm, human touch!

A really pleasant stay. Went with friends and, although in the beginning the room wasn’t ready for 3 people and only after the third request we had it prepared for all of us, the rest of the stay was amazing. The animation was amazing and the bar staff really nice, a thank you to Chema for all the sympathy and quickly attention to our requests.

This hotel is most suitable for families with kids, less ideal for a couple or adults travelling in a group. The room was very clean but quite basic for a superior double. The ‘sea view’ of the room was actually a side on view of the sea but primarily a view of the side of another hotel. The bed was 2 single beds pushed together, we requested a double bed but apparently this is their double bed option. The bathroom was quite dated but clean and towels were changed every day. The pool area is tailored 100% to kids and families with a number of loud activities happening in or around the pool throughout the day every day. It was easy enough for us to get sun-loungers each day though as long as we took the ones furthest from the pool. People were generally very good about not reserving loungers from early in the morning and the staff also kept an eye on this. The food available at breakfast was mediocre. It was very mass produced, very little was made to order and everything was quite bland. However there was a big selection of different types of cuisines for breakfast which was good to have the options. I don’t recommend the cafe beside the pool at all as the food here was very poor and service was delayed and not friendly. It is very expensive and not worth it in my opinion. The staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful. All the room service staff were also lovely, always saying hello and good morning as you passed in the corridors.

This was without doubt one of the best hotels if not the best that we have stayed in on mainland Spain. I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment, it is well managed with first class staff who were always attentive and managed the art of making the client feel welcome and looked after. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable with good views of the sea. The pools are lovely and the management have a very strict policy of not allowing any sun bed reservations. This was well policed and took the stress out of selecting a bed around the pools. The restaurants were very good, we tried both, the food was a high quality as was the service. Entertainment was provided most evenings although we only watched the Flamenco which was brilliant. The bars are well stocked with good service. Children are well catered for with a very active kids club. It is rare for us to visit the same place twice but would return to the H10 Estepona Palace

We had such a fantastic 5-day stay at H10 Estepona! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was consistently excellent with a great variety at the buffet, and the quality was top notch. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable – perfect for a family break. A special thank you to all the staff, who were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The standout for us was the kids’ entertainment team – they were incredibly friendly and genuinely lovely to our son. He had the best time and is still talking about it! They even put on a little disco for him as we were late to the mini disco one evening. We left with such happy memories and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing and fun getaway.

Spent two lovely weeks at this hotel in June for our 50th wedding anniversary. We paid extra for the Privilege package, when we got to our room the Hotel had left us a bottle of champagne and chocolates for our anniversary which was a lovely thought. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent and plenty to choose from, the pool areas were clean and plenty of sunbeds but could do with a few extra umbrellas. It's about a forty minute walk to the centre of Estepona which is a lovely walk along the sea front. Our package included the Privilege lounge where a selection of drinks were included, unfortunately you couldn't bring the drinks out onto the terrace, they need to have an area on the terrace where you can sit as you feel stifled. Overall we had a fabulous time and the staff were excellent. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Welcome drinks on checking in. Cannot fault staff in all locations. We had a Superior Room with terrace and on a clear day you could see Gibraltar and the coast of Africa. It had a walk in shower which is a plus for us of a certain age! and was serviced every day. We were on a half board basis which we enjoyed very much. Lovely food and a great selection which was changed daily. I do think that the food would benefit from labelling such as Gluten Free, Dairy free, etc. As we were there in March the hotel was relatively quiet. Entertainment every night. We regularly walked into Estepona town 25/30 mins. There is also a regular and cheap bus service which takes just a few minutes. The beach didn't look very good but I suppose this will be different in the summer season. As we had alot of rain whilst there we didn't feel we wanted to spend anytime there. We loved this hotel and would definitely re visit.

Absolutely amazing place, the staff can’t do enough for you, the food was amazing and great variety. The spa was beautiful and massage was amazing, honestly can’t fault this place at all for the price we paid! Just under £140 for both of us for breakfast, spa & massage! 💪

My wife and I had such an enjoyable time at the Elba Estepona Gran hotel/ spa. Half board, breakfast, there was so much choice, amazing. Dinner buffet, lots of choice plus a fresh meat or fish cooking station by two chefs, I just had to tell the chef what I liked and how I would like it cooked, incredible. There also was another restaurant but for a small supplement but didn't manage to go. The spa was very relaxing, and I did go to their gym once and was a good array of equipment. Outdoor very large pool and an indoor heated pool were great. And plenty of sunbeds. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

We stayed at Elba during Easter holidays and were pleasantly surprised by welcoming and supporting members of staff. Our room was lovely with an amazing sea view. The breakfast was great - lots of fruit, meats and omelette that’s made to order. I’ve managed to learn quite a few sentences in Spanish (thanks to wonderful members of staff). The hotel itself is little bit dated and probably needs a little refurb - we could hear people talking in other rooms. But it wasn’t a big issue, some people might find it annoying. Still, it’s a charming place. We are planning to come back later in a year. Also, there’s Aldi on the other side of the road for those who would like to sample local produce.

Beautiful hotel, but the restaurant is an absolute disgrace – a very disappointing experience At first glance, this hotel seems to offer exactly what you would expect from a five-star resort in a charming Spanish style: beautiful architecture, a peaceful atmosphere, and well-maintained grounds. The setting really had potential for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. But what I’ve experienced over the past seven days has been truly shocking – particularly when it comes to the hotel restaurant, which unfortunately ruined most of the stay for me. On the third evening, after dinner, I became severely ill and spent the entire night vomiting. Since then, I haven't felt properly well – which is the last thing you want while on holiday. I had to skip two days of meals entirely because I simply couldn’t eat. When I finally returned to the restaurant, I paid close attention. I specifically asked the chef to make sure the chicken was thoroughly cooked – yet I was served undercooked meat. The next day, the same thing happened with the salmon. It’s clear that there is absolutely no quality control happening in the kitchen. And it doesn’t stop there. When I pointed out to the restaurant manager that birds were eating the uncovered cake outside, he didn’t seem to care at all – he just closed the curtains to the terrace door. That was his solution. The hygiene standards are shockingly low for any restaurant, let alone one in a five-star hotel. Overall, the food here is simply not up to any standard. Not even what you'd expect from a street kiosk. It lacks quality, care, and above all, safety. This is not a minor issue – this is a serious health risk. What could have been a wonderful vacation turned into a very sad experience. I’m honestly relieved to be going home.

Very good hotel, very good breakfast, the bar menu near the swimming pool was unfortunately not the best, I tried it once and that was enough. Other than that the toilet and the balcony wasn't clean although the room was very clean. Bathrobe wasn't in good shape. We found a tab in the room for things we didn't had from the mini bar. Massage "lomi lomi" was not good at all and Im a lomi lomi practitioner. This sounds like im only nagging but it is constructive criticism and you can easily resolve these small things, it is over all a 5 star hotel. I loved the spa, the hotel and the very friendly and helpful staff also the welcome drink. I recommend this place.

We were here last year and returned to repeat what was a great experience. Well, things have changed a bit......alas, the delightful scent dispensers in the corridors seem to have gone. The music around the pool is much louder. The staff are still the most polite and helpful I've ever encountered. The Greek restaurant on the beach front is still terrific including occasional folk dancing and plate breaking ... the pool remains super clean but alas devoid of any discernible drinks service. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, though table clearing is a bit sleepy. The morning live musician seems to have disappeared. A pity. The rooms are clean and refreshingly minimalistic. Never enough hangers (anywhere?) The beds are super comfortable and climate control plus ceiling fan is excellent. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Still a great modern 5* but beware of penny pinching.

My stay was absolutely outstanding. The property is stunning, and you immediately feel completely at ease. The entire atmosphere at the hotel was simply enchanting, making it a perfect place to spend the whole day. I loved every detail. The staff were incredibly friendly, consistently attentive, and exceptionally accommodating. I truly appreciate the Spanish sense of ease and lightheartedness they embody. Everyone was well-prepared, and communication with guests via WhatsApp worked seamlessly. I always received prompt responses, and everything ran smoothly. No.1 place in the world . I had a fantastic stay at Mett. The facilities were top-notch — everything was clean, modern, and very well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable. The pool, gym, and common areas were spotless and well-equipped. Plus, amazing beach is two step away. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. From check-in to check-out, every team member was friendly ,professional, and genuinely helpful. Our stay at METT Hotel Marbella was absolutely perfect. The staff were some of the most accommodating people I’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. What made the experience even better was how much effort they put into keeping guests entertained. There was always something fun going on great music by the pool, cool activities throughout the day, and a really relaxed but vibrant atmosphere. It never felt forced, just super well thought out and enjoyable. The food was incredible too. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could tell a lot of care goes into the menus. The hotel itself is stunning. Spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and really comfortable. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave and are already thinking about our next trip back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for amazing service, great food, and a fun, relaxing vibe.

Our recent stay at Ikos Andalusia was truly exceptional, exceeding all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attentiveness and genuine friendliness of every single staff member. Nothing was too much trouble, and their dedication to ensuring a perfect holiday was clear to see. We want to give special shout-outs to a few individuals who made our stay even more memorable: Bea at the ice cream hut by the family pool was amazing everyday, Tomas the pool waiter was incredibly efficient and friendly, and Laura, Mercedes, and Isabel from the kids' club were fantastic with our daughter. An extra special mention must go to Anita from Guest Services. She was absolutely incredible throughout our stay, going above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. We are parents of an autistic daughter, so finding a hotel with suitable facilities is paramount, and Ikos Andalusia was absolutely perfect for her. The entire resort, from the pool areas to the dining options, felt incredibly accommodating. The kids' club, in particular deserves immense praise. They were extremely understanding and accommodating of her needs, and nothing was too big of an ask. This level of support truly allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing our daughter was happy and well-cared for. We cannot recommend Ikos Andalusia enough! Really lovely stay at Ikos Andalusia. We stayed as a family of 3 for 10 nights. There is plenty on offer all day long, from quality food and drinks to coffees, entertainment and exercise classes. It’s a wonderful place to relax and reset. The staff are wonderful, helpful and all work very hard! I hope the staff are well looked after and taken care of as they take care of us guests so well. The food is quality from clearly excellent chefs all around, buffet and restaurants. It’s also great for kids and has a quality kids club! Not all guests are friendly but that’s usually what comes with a high end resort, ego’s can be big! But most are friendly.. the evening entertainment shows are brilliant, the singers, dancers, flamenco! 💃 My only slight criticism is the original room we were given was not quite what we booked, so we changed after a few nights, no problem!.. The beach isn’t amazing, I would say I’ve seen better beaches at other resorts but that’s the only things I can mention. It was a wonderful stay! We will be back!!

Great hotel for a family trip where you need the beach. Note that the beach is public. Many shops and supermarkets around but you need a car to go to. service is good but the facilities quality and cleanliness can be better and renovated as the hotel is old.Gym is good with variety of equipment which are techno gym.

What breath taking experience. The views are out of this world . Everything is meticulous the grounds are perfect. The seating is very comfortable both be beside the beach and inside the hotel.. The staff are very friendly and helpful . The variety of restaurants to eat in is amazing. The food and drink is wonderful.

The hotel finishing is very old and the rooms are as good as a 4 star hotel. The beach near the hotel is soooo bad, no sand and full of wood particles and stones. You can not walk in the beach without a shoes. The kids activities is limited to 4 years and above so a 3 years not allowed. The name of the hotel and the pictures in the web does not reflect the reality that you will see in your eyes. Not recommended to stay as 5 star.
