The apartments were very clean and comfortable. Fairly minimal but nice furnishings. Ours had a lot of open unusable space. The bathroom was a little cramped but the hot water and showers were excellent. The grounds and facilities are immaculate. The pool was beautiful.
The resort is very good for families with lots of outdoor space. We however were a group if adults who really didn't want kids noise around.
We were also located by the little kids playground.
The restaurant was very nice and the food and drinks were delicious. There was no quiet adult only space however.
The staff was very friendly and fun.
Location was good with close access to the village below. Lots of hills to walk!

Great place to stay and as a base to explore the surrounding towns. It's clean, convenient, and the hotel rooms are nicely arranged to have a community feeling.
The pool is very clean. Staff very helpful.
We even had the bed cutely arranged by the cleaner.
It's really quiet in the evening, which might suit for people who are looking for a peaceful holiday away.

Really good, everything about this hotel was exactly what you need. Exceptionally clean, breakfast was decent, pool areas were well kept.
Plenty of sun lounges but we did go slightly out of season.
Ferragudo was beautiful and a nice quiet alternative to Portimao.

September 2025 - enjoyed our stay, very very peaceful, staff warm and welcoming, the half board meal selection was very limited, there was a choice of two starters, three mains and three desserts. Most of the food was absolutely lovely but sometimes you just wanted something different and fish or a bowl of pasta just wasn't it? Be warned chips is crisps not fries! My husband's face when he received a tuna steak in a bowl covered in crisps when he thought he was having chips was a picture!
The apartment and room service was very good, our views in our premium apartment were very nice.
Now the biggy, (the elephant in the room) that god damn hill..... It's horrendous, especially if you're not fit, have any health conditions or in some cases, non of the above! It's horrendous, especially when it's hot which it was for us.
The best thing to do is leave Vitors, turn left, turn left again walk towards the main road, and turn left again. The road is fast, loud and very busy but the views over the harbour and Ferraguddo are beautiful. You can walk all the way down into Ferraguddo market square and walk back the same way. We got really fit doing this walk twice a day.
Will we go back to Vitors, I think we might ☺️ Ferraguddo fishing village is old & absolutely beautiful ❤️

What a place. Love part of the world to visit. Weather was great, we had sun every day. Where most places was covered in cloud. people were great, and the village was awesome. Very clean and tidy place. Lovely 10-20 min walk to beach, depending on fit you are. Lovely beach bars, good music. Not many people I mentioned it to, had heard of ferragudo. But I would recommend to anyone, and to stay at vitors village. The facilities in the complex are top notch. All of the staff were great. But Lara, think she was only 19. She was so bubbly and smiling all the time. Mad you feel real welcome when in the bar and restaurant. Rooms were cleaned and beds changed every day. We loved it, and will be returning as soon as possible, maybe in October this year, or early next. Met some wonerful people, made new friends. 💯❤️
