We are now at the hotel July26. The hotel is really beautiful and renovated. The pools are big, they have a pool for kids with slides. All the other pools have undeep areas as well. We have a family room with a pool. This is fantastic!! Two spacious rooms with big restrooms. The team is super friendly & always helping. We had all inclusive stay. Food is good, fresh& tasty. Specially the A la cart greek restaurant, delicious! The kids club team is great, their location could use an upgrade. This hotel is great to have a super quiet holiday. There is nothing to do outside. If you want activities during the day, music etc, this is not your place. Here is to relax & enjoy the pools. For the beach go to Malia, 10’ drive, beautiful beach and busy.

Was here this time last May 2025. We came at start of the season. But the staff were amazing and made some good friends here. Food was good for fully exclusive. There was a restaurant outside resort called Taverna Amelia family run and the food in there was to die for. Sisi is a lovely resort locals friendly in bars.

First of all, the staff at the hotel are really helpful and kind. They do a really good job of trying to keep the holiday makers happy. However, as a new hotel with a staggered opening, a lot of the hotel wasn't open when we went, including the restaurants. This in itself wasn't a big problem. The bigger issues was that the electricity kept going and despite asking for help, nothing seemed to happen. This meant that the fan in the room stopped working randomly which resulted in being bitten by mosquitoes a lot. To top it all off, on our last night there we found a cckroach in our room. We didn;t really have the most enjoyable time whilst there.

Building for the future. Vasia Resort & Spa has all of the components necessary for a quality resort in Crete. Construction (unobtrusive to current guests) is underway for further expansion and improvement!

“Fully renovated” turned out to be a hoax: work quality is low both and the rooms as for the amenities around. The resort does not live up to its commitments: only few swimming pools open at arrival (did improve throughout the week), no aquagym, only 1 restaurant, room didn’t have a usable mirror, unsafe conditions around the swimming pools, noise of ongoing construction works, …
