We concluded that this was a 4 out of 5 - just. Service was good in that the staff tried hard but they were chaotic verging on laughable, especially in the restaurant. Food was okay but repetitive (we were half board) and we ate at other restaurants a couple of times to get some variety. Booking a gym which was rarely used seemed overly bureaucratic and there were hints of that bureaucracy elsewhere. Ditto paying for the sauna and the spa prices were very high - we didn’t use it at all. The road outside the hotel is frankly dangerous with cars, buses and pedestrians sharing this route into and out of the village. Rooms were good although the glass banister was uneven and my wife caught her finger in the gap between pains whose could have been nasty. Room cleaning service was excellent and the toiletries in the room were good too. Ditto towels and dressing gowns and the showers and other room details were excellent. The hotel is very clean and the pool area well maintained. Overall a good experience but a few things to focus on to professionalise the hotel and to make it truly 5 star such as providing maps, tourist advice and a focus on enabling guests to get the most out of out of their holiday. We asked more than one member of staff about local points of interest, buses etc and all either stated “we don’t know we’ve just arrived too” or didn’t provide anything meaningful. The hotel reception area was similarly sparse on information.

We stayed at this adults-only hotel in Greece for a week and were quite disappointed overall. The staff were always friendly and tried their best, and the rooms were clean and comfortable at first glance. However, the mattress was completely worn out and sagging, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. For a 5-star hotel, this is simply unacceptable.
The main issue, though, was the food. Dinner was repetitive, with almost the same dishes every night, and most of them lacked flavor. Many items weren’t labeled, so we often had no idea what we were eating. There was also an à la carte option for an extra charge, but that wasn’t much better. For a hotel in Greece with a 5-star rating, we expected far better quality and variety. Breakfast was okay but also repetitive, so from the third day on we preferred to eat at nearby restaurants — which were much better.
Although the hotel is advertised as a quiet adults-only place, that changed on our last day when about 30 students arrived. They completely took over the restaurant at lunch and even held presentations around the pool, which ruined the peaceful atmosphere.
In short, the friendly staff and cleanliness were positives, but the poor food, uncomfortable bed, and lack of consistency in maintaining a calm environment made the stay disappointing. We wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it as a true 5-star experience.

We honestly had the best holiday ever here. The hotel is huge and beautifully designed, it feels super luxurious but still warm and welcoming. We even got an unexpected upgrade to a room with a private pool, which honestly made the entire trip for us. The room itself was spacious, and the terrace with the pool was just perfect to soak up the sun all day.
There’s also an indoor pool and a gym you can reserve for yourself, which was such a nice touch, no crowds, just peace and quiet whenever you want. Also they host a show every day at one of the three hotels. We attended the fire&light show and the South African band, which were both incredible.
But honestly, the staff was my absolute favorite part of the whole stay. Everyone was so kind and genuinely made us feel at home. We arrived very late around 10-11pm and they expected us with something to eat and drinks on the house. By day two, they already knew our coffee order and just brought it to us at breakfast without us even asking. They really took the time to get to know us, we had so many lovely and personal conversations.
I’m truly gonna miss them and we already can’t wait to come back next year!

From arrival at the hotel right through to departure, everything was excellent. We spent a week at the hotel and spa which was always a clean and pleasant place to return to after a day exploring the island of Crete. Staff were excellent particularly Mariana whose eye for detail was great and the food service staff ( who recalled what our preference was for breakfast ). The hotel entertainment was a bonus , run by a very enthusiastic gentleman with a good music playing and willingness to play requests which allows those who wish to dance a good experience. The hotel grounds and pool are well maintained and very tidy with views of the church and mountains beyond. Comfortable room with good bed and plenty of space made the stay great. Top marks

My stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the staff took care of every detail. The food and drinks were excellent – everything fresh and tasty. The evening shows were the real highlight for me, full of energy and fun. Andreas made the atmosphere truly special – bravo! I can sincerely recommend this place and I’ll be happy to return.
