To get the negatives out the way first: the immediate location is just off the main road, all roundabouts and intersections, and you need to cross over and walk a few hundred metres down to get to the pleasant bit around the port/beach. Being not far from Magaluf it's quite Magalufy - both in terms of the immediate restaurants nearby and, let's face it, a certain ratio of the sort of guests staying at the hotel. However, the port area itself is very upmarket and sophisticated once you get down there, and the beach is amazing. Hotel is immaculately clean. Beautiful rooms. Amazing views from the rooftop bar. Was surprised that the pool closed only about 5pm (just as it's winter?). Gym is very basic. Overall it's the check-in experience, the vibe around the pool bar, and how excellent the staff are, which make this hotel more highly recommended.

Had the best stay here with my parents in September to celebrate my Dad's 80th! The resort is so beautiful, rooms are perfect, breakfast top class, roof top bar stunning, pool and pool bar are brilliant. Can not thank the team enough for helping us celebrate such an important milestone! We hope to return next year because we loved it so much.

Currently staying at the hotel. Located in a great spot. Quietly situated but about a five minutes drive from the main eating and drinking attractions and the beach.
Adults only and a high-rise type development with a large number of guests at any one time. If you prefer smaller it’s probably not for you.
Pool area is attractive and well-kept. Staff are courteous. Food is very good overall and the breakfast part of that particularly good. Our room was clean and well-maintained and equipped. Tea bags were not replaced during our stay as a rare downside.
Overall, the Tomir Portals Suites is an impressive and attractive hotel with extra facilities like a gym and a spa. Five stars is a fair rating for what it offers.

Stayed in the adult only Tomir Suite hotel first week in Oct 2025.
20 min transfer from Palma airport.
Room was spacious and included a mini kitchenette with fridge. Nice balcony with table and chairs.
Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided. Bathroom was very modern and clean. The beds are super comfy.
TV available with a few English channels.
Lots of sun beds available and pool towels can also be changed daily.
The roof top bar is stunning for sunset with a great drinks selection but only open Thursday-Sunday.
The bar in the lobby is open 7 days a week.
The buffet breakfast is good and plentiful with plenty of choice. It is open 8-10:30am.
There’s also a gym and spa on site but we didn’t use this.
The hotel is modern with great vibe and we would return.
There a supermarket called Nice Price a 3 min walk away for water and snacks. They also have a massive selection of Greggs baked goods!
It’s a 10 min walk down to the Portals Marina which is like a mini Marbella, lots of expensive bars, restaurants and designer shops, definitely the place for people watching!!
If your looking for something more basic and down to earth with affordable shops to mooch about for souvenirs then best to get a taxi into Palma Nova for €7 and takes about 5mins.

We stayed at Tomir Portals with over 60 of our wedding guests, based on recommendations from the Weddings in Mallorca Facebook page, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.
We were a little apprehensive about bringing such a large group, but both we and our guests had absolutely no complaints—in fact, everyone was full of compliments. The hotel even offered us a discount for group bookings, which was a huge help.
The staff were simply outstanding. From the front desk team to management (special thanks to Niko and Carmen) and the bar staff (Daniel, Darwin, and Diego), everyone went above and beyond to look after us. We hosted our welcome drinks at the hotel, complete with a DJ and the most incredible food, and the team made it seamless. They worked within our budget to create a perfect setup, and the views from the venue made it extra special. Drinks were also very reasonably priced, which our guests really appreciated.
Breakfast was a highlight—plentiful and delicious, a perfect way to start each day. We also used the suites for getting ready on the wedding day, and the staff supported us with things like service elevators so the bridal party could move around discreetly. That level of thoughtfulness really made a difference.
Even after the main celebrations, we ended up back on the rooftop on Day 2, where the hotel let us have a proper Irish-style singsong in the foyer—a memory we’ll treasure forever.
Tomir Portals was the perfect base for our wedding celebrations. Beautiful views, amazing staff, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
