The location of this hotel is perfect, right on the beach and as far as I am aware all rooms face the sea. The views are amazing. Staff were great, really friendly, considerate and helpful. The breakfast was good with lots of choice. The snack bar by the pool was great, can definitely recommend the Tuna sandwich and the Sangria was the best we had all holiday. This is an adult only hotel which we loved. There was a mix of ages, however I would say that the majority were late 60s and over. It would definitely not put us off going again though we loved it.

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff always went above and beyond to help. Ideally situated on the beach, this hotel has a laid back attitude. It does cater for the more the more mature clientele which does make it easier when the 9.30 sun bed race is on 🤣
The breakfast was great with plenty of choice.
We were only B&B so I can't comment on the evening menu.
The pool bar and stacks were of good choice but I did find it a little on the expensive side.
The rooms were very good and clean, we received a complimentary glass of fizz on our arrival and a bottle of water in the fridge.
We had a 1st floor room so the view was good but would be better higher up on a different floor.
We would 110% come back to to Son Matias Beach.

We stayed at this beachfront hotel in June mainly for its fantastic location, and it definitely delivers on that front. You’re just steps from the sea, and it’s also within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants, which was a big plus.
The rooms are bright, very clean, and well maintained—though on the smaller side. We did have a hiccup with our booking, as we were initially given a pool view room despite having booked a sea view. Thankfully, the hotel staff resolved it the next day, which we appreciated.
Breakfast is plentiful, but the area can get busy. The pool itself is lovely, with a mix of sunbeds and day beds that are cleaned every morning. However, the real issue is the daily “sunbed dash.” Guests begin queuing early, and by 9:30am there’s a full-on scramble for loungers. We ended up going to the beach instead, which was much more enjoyable.
Other notes: you’ll find pool towels in your room, but changing them costs €1. The room safe is also an extra charge.
The hotel clearly caters to an older crowd, and the nightly entertainment reflects that. While the older guests seemed to really enjoy it, it wasn’t quite our vibe.
The staff were polite, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay, which made a great impression

My parents stayed at this hotel, and I can say with confidence that it is exceptional. My mom can be quite particular when it comes to hotels, and she didn’t have a single complaint. Breakfast and dinner were varied, and we even paid extra once so I could join them for dinner. The room was spotlessly clean. Although not very large, it was very well organized, with plenty of space to hang clothes. The cherry on top was the view from the terrace — absolutely breathtaking. They requested a room on a higher floor, and they got one — on the top, ninth floor! All compliments. The location is fantastic.
They’re coming back again in September! 🤩

A clean and comfortable hotel, right on the beach. All of the rooms have a sea view, so there is no annoying extra charge for this. The location is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. Elva, the entertainment director, is energetic, enthusiastic and seems to genuinely care about the guests.
All of the bar and restaurant staff were welcoming, but we were particularly impressed with the smiley and upbeat Lisette at the bar and Esther in the restaurant who took great care of us and was generous with her time.
The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice. The evening meals are good, but not spectacular; exactly what you'd expect with the limitations of a buffet. There is one cooking station and they change up the menu every night
The entertainment has been surprisingly good; we particularly enjoyed Motown Avenue and the flamboyant Elevate. If the entertainment is not to your tastes there are plenty of places within a couple of minutes walk offering live music or karaoke.
The pool area doesn't open until half nine and there is a bizarre ritual where people queue up from half eight to 'snag the best sunbeds'. If queuing is your thing, go for it, but we found that we never struggled to get a bed even if we left it until later The upside of this is that the breakfast area is very quiet from nine until half past, but it then gets busy again for half an hour as the sunbed warriors return from marking their territory with their towels.
The clientele here are generally an older crowd but I found this refreshing; there is no posing for Instagram, just people enjoying themselves. People also seem less self conscious about taking part in activities and dancing. This is not a loud and lively party hotel; if you want that, then Magaluf is ten minutes up the road.
Many of the people staying here have come multiple times. I am hoping to be one of those.
