Just got back from a lovely week away at this hotel. The location was fabulous, positioned right in the middle of Santa Ponsa and a short walk away from all the bars and restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. The cocktails at the hotel bar (Cubanito) were great. We only had breakfast but there was plenty of choice and a large seating area. Our room had everything you could need and great aircon; the balcony was spacious and we had a lovely view. The pool area was very chilled and peaceful, and there were always plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available. I definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and a perfectly peaceful atmosphere. It’s mostly an adult crowd (30+), making it a great oasis away from the noisy party streets.
The Good:
The location is fantastic—just a 6-minute walk to a beautiful, clean beach. The hotel has a lovely pool area, and providing beach towels is a huge plus. The staff is mostly wonderful! The afternoon receptionist went out of her way to let us choose our room and constantly checked on us. A very thoughtful waiter even brought me tea outside after breakfast hours when the machines were already turned off. Breakfast itself is quite good, especially the pancakes and fresh fruit.
The Not-So-Good:
Service on the last day lacked flexibility. Check-out was strictly at 11:00 AM, and the receptionist wouldn't allow even a 15-minute grace period, which felt unaccommodating. Furthermore, when we wanted to borrow beach towels after checking out and taking our luggage, we were asked to leave a cash deposit. While it may be policy, it felt a bit distrustful toward respectable guests. Finally, the bed was okay, but it could have been a bit softer and less squeaky.
Despite a few minor service quirks at the end, it’s a solid and relaxing place to stay!

We've just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Plaza May/June 2026. The hotel is pretty much centrally positioned with restaurants and activities all around.
On arrival we were met by Lucca, he was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room on the 3rd floor was clean and well presented and gave a view out towards the sea from the balcony.
On the first morning there the shower tray overflowed and water escaped across the bathroom floor, we reported it and it was sorted very quickly by the maintenance team. Breakfasts were basic, but very good with choices for all tastes.
It looked like the hotel had been updated about a couple of years ago and was starting to look tired in some areas but generally the standard was good.
All in all a good hotel, made better by the friendly and conscientious staff.

Taxis & buses outside hotel so easy if you wanted to explore like we did
Plenty of shops & restaurants , bars etc in every direction outside hotel although I would say the pubs by the hotel are more relaxed & a lot more quiet
The “strip” if you wanted to go was a ten minute walk where the more lively bars and clubs were so you could enjoy both.
Lovely swimming pool area at hotel and a sunbathing area right outside our room on level 2 .

If I had to write anything negative it would be I didn’t like the hotel pillows one was extra long and thin and one was a cushion shape not the most comfortable regular pillows would of been better but still not a problem it was only for a week so we managed.
Ps , The hotel make a beautiful pornstar martini 🍸
Definitely will come back again in the future and will look forward to it too.

We were there on vacation.
They are very bike-friendly.
The breakfast is decent, nothing special. The hotel wrote that the sea is 100 meters away — maybe as the crow flies… in reality, the sea is about half a kilometer away.
At the reception, one lady told us that we were not allowed to take towels to the beach, which is a bit absurd. We didn’t argue and still enjoyed our vacation, but we don’t recommend.
