My stay at the hotel was really nice. The hotel has very nice sea view rooms which I bought. It’s facing the sea and the swimming pool. The hotel has a path leading to the sea front as well which is a nice walk. The food here is amazing, lots of different fishes for lunch and dinner everyday. I came here in January which is not the main season. So it’s not as busy but it’s quite nice in a way for me as I needed something quiet. Kudos to the internment team Teresa, Miguel who are very bubbly and friendly. They made us feel entertained and welcomed. Olena at the bar was very friendly serving drinks as well. Overall it’s a very nice place to stay. I’d highly recommend the place and would certainly consider coming back again

Our stay at the Pestana Blue Alvor Beach Hotel was truly exceptional. From our 15th-floor balcony, we enjoyed a breathtaking view of the beach and the ocean, which added something special to every morning and evening. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the quality and variety of the food exceeded our expectations.
As a family of eight, we were able to spend meaningful time together, thanks to the excellent facilities and thoughtful organization throughout the hotel. Football games, tennis courts, and the indoor swimming pool provided enjoyable daily activities, while short trips to nearby local towns added charm and authentic Portuguese atmosphere to our holiday. The beaches and coastal walkways were simply beautiful.
What truly made this stay outstanding was the hotel staff. Every member of the team showed professionalism, kindness, and genuine dedication to guest comfort. Their hard work is clearly reflected in the smooth management, high-quality service, engaging entertainment, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. It felt like every detail was handled with care and pride.
There is always room for small improvements, but without hesitation, I can say that we would happily return. Thank you to the entire Pestana Blue Alvor Beach team for creating such a memorable experience — we look forward to coming back, perhaps with even better dance moves and karaoke confidence.

We arrived at the Pestana Blue Alvor Beach a little earlier than expected after a long drive, and the reception lady was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They had our room ready for us and even ensured we could head straight to lunch, which was very much appreciated.
While checking the entertainment board, we were warmly greeted by Miguel, who took the time to personally welcome us and explain everything that was happening during our stay. Miguel was outstanding. Although the hotel was out of season and there were fewer children around, he made a genuine effort to ensure every guest felt special and included.
We thoroughly enjoyed the quizzes and evening games. Even when the hotel was quiet, Miguel and Jonathan still brought fantastic energy and plenty of laughs. Regardless of whether it was just two families participating, they made every activity fun.
We would also like to mention Iris, Fabio, and Jonathan from the entertainment team and of course, a special birthday mention for Miguel!
Also the team for the indoor pool were very helpful and friendly.
If you have young children, we highly recommend feeding the fish at the pond each morning with the kids’ club. It’s such a lovely way to start the day and creates special memories for the little ones.
A beautiful, friendly, family oriented hotel we truly enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Pestana Blue Hotel and would highly recommend it. The hotel truly has everything you could want — a great swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a brilliant all-inclusive package. The food was consistently excellent with plenty of choice, and the quality exceeded our expectations.
What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the evening entertainment. The nights hosted by Miguel were absolutely fantastic — fun, engaging, and perfectly organised. He brings so much energy and personality, making every evening enjoyable and memorable. It really adds something special to the overall experience.
The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived.
This hotel is especially great to visit in the wintertime, as there’s always something to do in the evenings. The entertainment rounds off the days perfectly and gives you something to look forward to every night.
Overall, a wonderful hotel with excellent facilities, great food, amazing staff, and outstanding entertainment. We would happily return!

It's a very nice hotel with exceptional service. The staff are truly amazing. However, it is not a 5-star hotel. The pools are looking a tad tired, and don't be fooled by the 'heated' indoor pool. It is not heated and is bloody cold!
The buffet's all-inclusive food and drink are fine, but not astounding.
