Absolutely disgraceful. The hotel itself not too bad, but the staff have knocked me sick with the lack of compassion they hold. Yesterday my father passed away in this hotel in a very brutal, traumatic way. He was there with my mum and his 2 children age 12 and 10. When it happened my mum panicked and ran to the front desk begging staff to come to her room to help her. The staff looked at her as if she was stupid for being so worked up and told her "well im not medical". SO WHAT if you are not medical, if you have a heart and someone is pleading for your help whilst there is a literal death going on in your hotel you HELP in ANY way you can even if that's just to offer emotional support. No one asked if they were OK, everyone kept just walking past them whilst they were sat outside the room screaming and crying, not asking if they need anything, no offer of a glass of water or a blanket because they were cold. Nothing. The medical staff that came were amazing, but the hotel staff were treating my family as if they were dirt and like they were bad people for being so upset about this HORRIFIC incident just happening infront of them. I understand when booking this hotel you arent going to be considering how they deal with a death, but im just letting you know how much the staff at this hotel DO NOT CARE about PEOPLE in the slightest. Absolutely sick to my stomach at how my family were treated. Disgusting.

Nice staff, especially cleaning Ladies. Great place for kids as playground and shallow indoor pool. Lovely location, very close to Continente Shop. But not sure about cleanliness (hair in the pool and something bit me during sleep)

Just back from a week's holiday at this hotel and never again ( too much hassle to move hotels). Rooms weren't cleaned properly, hairs on bed sheets, stains on pillow cases and towels, toothpaste marks and hairs in sink, stains on mirrors and walls, sockets didn't look safe enough to use. Rooms are very outdated. Was going down stairs to complain and met a cleaner who said she would sort it. She kept blaming everything on the laundry and cleaned our mirrors and sinks with one of our hand towels!!! Staff at reception are like robots programmed to say " sorry and I'll report the issue" who they report to would love to know!!! Pool area is an accident waiting to happen. Cracked and broken tiles, ladder in pool extremely loose, carpet area for diving into pool loose and crumpled up so very easy to trip. You have to pay for grey loungers at pool ffs!!!! Like seriously!!! And the staff make sure you do pay!!!! Bought 2 bottles of water at pool.bar and went back up to get another drink and ice for the water and was refused the ice!!! I even offered the barman €2 for 1 ice cube and he still refused!!! Went to the robots at reception and said they would report my complaint and that I could get ice in main bar and take to pool. Went to main bar and was told I would have to pay €1.50 for a glass of ice!!!!!! This hotel has great potential but is lacking a bit of tlc. The staff seem very used to complaints and get paid so why should they care. When checking out the man at reception took.my key and walked back into the back office before i could even tell him what i thought of my experience in this so called 5 star hotel. Shame on love holidays for recommending this hotel and shame on the owner of this hotel. Does the owner or manager not read these reviews or care?

Looks nice from the outside but well dated inside. Rooms spacious but so out dated and in serious need of makeover beds very uncomfortable . Staff on reception not interested in helping you. Pool area was shocking. Diving board had the green covering peeling away. Same as the bridge to cross over. very weird high blue steps tiles missing in pool sand and other rubbish also in pool. Actual Pool bar in the pool closed but other bar was open. Poor service on all inclusive staff were like they didnt want to be their as it said you could have cocktails by Pool but they only served us once with them. Most of coverage at top of where u could sunbath was ripped or there was none at all. And what a rip off to have to pay for grey beds and umbrellas the only good thing was the gym. The restaurant food was terrible not worth an all inclusive price. Thank god for the onsite spar shop

This.is not a 4 star hotel. Its dated in areas but in terms of location its perfect. The hotel is great for those wanting to wander down to the Old Town and as a group of 16 Golfers it suited what we needed. Evening entertainment was aimed at Kids but we weren't looking for that. A 1 bedroom apartment gives you the extra.space.you need including a kitchen. Pool area is again dated but with the bar and ice cream counter, is more than.passable for those looking for a long weekend bolthole. Ignore the 1 star reviews, it's much better than that.
