I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay.
I stayed at OndaMar for 2 nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The only real positive is the location, which is excellent and within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops.
The facilities are extremely outdated and poorly maintained, and the atmosphere felt more suited to groups of young people partying than to families.
There was loud music and parties in several rooms until after hours, and I had to contact reception twice before the issue was resolved. There were also large groups drinking alcohol around the pool, including the children's pool.
My first apartment had no hot water, a blocked bathtub drain, a faulty power socket and even silverfish insects. Although I was moved to another apartment and offered complimentary breakfast, the second apartment also had maintenance issues, including a damaged socket hanging out of the wall, dampness in the bathroom and poor water pressure.
The staff were polite and helpful, but the hotel urgently needs renovation and better maintenance. Unfortunately, apart from the location, I cannot recommend staying here.

Had a room and ac leaked all over floor on the second last day and they done nothing about it and when taking elevator got stuck and we got the blame for the poor services they had. Very abusive to young people that are coming over to have a good time

Absolutely appalling experience.
Our group had a reservation booked well in advance, and despite the hotel having full access to all relevant information about our booking, they chose to cancel on us at the last minute. we were essentially turned away for being a larger group of women - to clarify not a hen party.
Now we are left scrambling to find alternative accommodation with fixed dates and limited availability, which has caused unnecessary stress and disruption. This situation could have easily been avoided if the hotel had been transparent or raised any concerns earlier.
This is not just poor customer service it’s unprofessional and inconsiderate. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here, especially if you are travelling as a group. We expected basic respect and reliability, and received neither.

No coffee machines in the room. No place to get coffee until breakfast. Otherwise a good experience.

Just back from a 10 day stay in this hotel
Had a few teething problems initially that were sorted out quickly by very efficient and friendly staff
The hotel itself is in a good location with bars and restaurants nearby and a very good Chinese just across the road. 10min walk to the strip, and a 20min walk to the old town
The hotel itself has a lovely pool and pool bar which also serves food
Literally the only minus points were, no clothes dryer on the balcony, no net curtains for privacy, and our bedding wasn't changed during our stay
Would definitely stay here again though 👍
