Just back from a lovely 4 nights/5 days experience at the Oceanus Aparthotel. First time staying at Olhos D'Agua as we always stay close to either new or old town but we wanted a more chilled break so definitely worth it for the relaxation and peace. Went as 2x adults and 1x child for a relaxing Easter break and we weren't disappointed with both of us agreeing to book again. Hotel staff what we found we very friendly and helpful when needed. Location was great with many restaurants with in minutes from the hotel and with the location being olhos d'agua everything including the beach, restaurants and bars can be seen in a 20 minute walk, the beach is less than 5 mins away with restaurants and bars located at the seafront. There is also an indoor pool which did save the day when the main pool was to cold to get into which we visited over the break. We did travel into old town on 2 occasions using the local taxi service which worked out less than €10 each way so you're not a million miles from the more lively atmosphere if you want to visit the old / new towns. Rooms are basic but to be honest but they have everything we needed to be self catering and with the supermarket 2 mins from the hotel for all our needs. We did make our own breakfast and lunches with going out every night for dinner with many options around the hotel. The hotel pool bar and pools are spotless so no issues there we did eat once in the pool bar nearly €40 for lunch so you can make you're own mind up there. But all in I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking a quiet break away from the madness with the options to visit the other towns if you wanted.
One disappointment was that we checked out at 11am and with our flight wasn't to 20:25 that night there was no option of a shower room before leaving for our flight home. We enjoyed the pool beforehand but when it came to going home it was a quick pool dip and pool bar toilets to get changed. Maybe something they could look into for the future.

Great Value, Great Staff.
Went very early in year, so really appreciated the heated indoor pool for a quiet morning swim. Paula at reception deserves at particular mention.
As others have said, Olhos resort is not as lively or loud as the old or new towns of Albufeira, thank goodness. Loule is only 10 Euro's away by Uber... Recommend and will be going back

We enjoyed our stay in Oct. Our apartment was a good size & was lovely & clean. The complex is well kept & the bar area is good. Friendly staff in the snack bar.
The pools are freezing though. They really need to be heated.
It's in a great location with plenty nearby. The supermarket is a 5 min walk & there are numerous restaurants in the area. We'd return.

Really enjoyed our week long stay. For the price, this far exceeded my expectations. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Pool and restaurant are great with amazing, friendly staff. Short walk to the beach front area and cheap taxis available to the other destinations in the area.

Writing this sat on our own sun soaked balcony. We have had 7 out of 10 night holiday. Can't find or think of anything negative too say. People and place amazing. Great food. Enjoying it so much will be booking next year as soon as we get home. Hotel staff are fantastic so friendly and helpful. It felt like home from the start. Also feels a very safe area.
