Could be happier. The staff were incredible, the room was a self catering twin. The atmosphere was almost perfect for the most part until a group of 20-something year old lads checked in and started treating it like an 18-30 holiday. However the staff were quick to come and tell them that drinking in the pool wasn't allowed and to tone down their behaviour.
For a "Family" hotel it was perfect placed for the beach (a 10 minute walk away) and a couple of supermarkets. Plenty of restaurants nearby and bars etc.

Went very early in year, so really appreciated the heated indoor pool for a quiet morning swim. Paula at reception deserves at particular mention.
As others have said, Olhos resort is not as lively or loud as the old or new towns of Albufeira, thank goodness. Loule is only 10 Euro's away by Uber... Recommend and will be going back

Quite a way from the centre but plectrum of restaurants about, base price is good. However safe costs extra, towels for the pool is extra, breakfast buffet style is good with a toasting machine that works at 13 euros per person. Can of coke is 5 euros, slush puppy 3.50, staff are super friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Air con is good.

Lovely location, just a short walk to the beach and main town, the service is all top notch and with a friendly smile. The rooms (especially our 1 bedroom apartment is a bit tired, and my son ended up sleeping on a mattress on the floor as the pull out bed was far too noisy. The beds are very hard.

The rooms are OK need more electrical sockets in the bedroom. Beds are hard no restaurant on site just a snack bar that shuts at 6.30. It is a steep hill to the beach ok going not so good coming back. Claudia on reception was very helpful booking trips and taxis for us
