We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and would definitely consider coming back.
The rooms were clean and were serviced daily by the housekeeping team, who did a great job throughout our stay. The only downside was that some rooms had older air conditioning units which occasionally leaked after being running for a few hours. We also experienced a lack of hot water in some rooms, but whenever this happened, the hotel staff responded very quickly and resolved the issue efficiently.
The gym could benefit from some modernization and updated equipment, but it was still usable.
One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is having two swimming pools. It was very convenient because if you wanted a quieter atmosphere away from the entertainment activities, you could relax by the more peaceful pool.
The food was excellent—there was a wide variety of options, and everyone could find something they liked. The all-inclusive package could be improved slightly, as international alcoholic drinks required an upgrade to All Inclusive Plus. However, the local alcoholic beverages were also very good, and the bartenders did an excellent job.
The entertainment team truly was the heart of the hotel. There were games, activities, and music throughout the day, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The entertainment wasn’t just for children; adults could enjoy it as well. The team was incredibly friendly, energetic, and helpful. They made our holiday so much more enjoyable, and honestly, they are one of the main reasons I would love to return to this hotel in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Occidental Cala Vinas. Right beside the beach with a lovely beach bar, amazing food in the all inclusive package and lovely swimming pools. Plenty to keep the kids busy, especially mini disco each night and lots for adults too. The animators are by the pool all morning doing activities but you can join in as much, or as little, as you like. There's also a snack bar if you don't want to do full lunch some days. Can't rate the food highly enough. The only thing to be aware of is location. We took a bus one day into Palma but otherwise it's pretty much a hotel holiday which was perfect for a week. But if you like to get out and about, you'll need to organise a few trips as there isn't anything immediately nearby. We knew this when booking but worth pointing out. Great stay, ideal hotel for families.

We have just completed our stay at this hotel, and I would like to share an honest review.
We were traveling as a family of three: myself, my husband, and our 7-year-old daughter. I travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels around the world, so I have a broad basis for comparison.
Let me start with the positive aspects, as there were fewer of them:
• Food – The food was tasty and reasonably well-prepared. While the menu became repetitive after a few days, the overall quality was good. The themed dinner nights were a particularly nice touch and added some variety.
• Animation Team – Without a doubt, the greatest asset of this hotel. The team was exceptional: friendly, energetic, professional, and genuinely caring. They made a significant positive difference to our stay.
• Guests – The hotel attracts mostly families and older guests, which creates a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
• Location by the Sea – The proximity to the beach is very convenient. You can relax by the pool and reach the sea within minutes.
Now, unfortunately, to the negative aspects:
• Cleanliness – If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel may not be the right choice. Housekeeping was extremely inconsistent. On several occasions our room was simply not cleaned. At times, used towels were removed without replacements being provided. On another occasion, our daughter’s blanket was taken away during cleaning, and we spent nearly two hours in the evening trying to find someone who could provide a replacement.
• Reception Service – The reception staff appeared unhurried and often inattentive. During check-in, the receptionist interrupted the process multiple times to have lengthy conversations with colleagues while we waited. It gave the impression that guests’ time was not a priority.
• Room Layout and Storage – The room design is highly impractical. For three guests, there was only one very small wardrobe with virtually no shelving. There were no bedside tables or additional storage spaces. As a result, most of our belongings remained in our suitcases because there was simply nowhere else to put them.
• Need for Renovation – The rooms are clearly in need of refurbishment. In addition, moving around the hotel often requires using elevators that appear outdated and poorly maintained, which did not inspire confidence.
Overall, if someone asked me whether I would recommend this hotel or return here in the future, my answer would be a clear no.
While there are some positive aspects, particularly the animation team and the location, they are not enough to compensate for the issues with cleanliness, service, and the overall condition of the property.

We have been staying at this hotel for three days, and from the very first minute we felt that we had made the right choice.
The reception staff were professional and welcoming. The rooms are modern, very well equipped, and extremely comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent. We also really appreciated the late dinner offered to guests arriving late at night—it was such a thoughtful gesture.
The food in the restaurant has been delicious every day, and the restaurant staff are always friendly, attentive, and professional. They truly make every meal enjoyable.
The only thing that worried me at first was something I noticed a couple of times while watching the entertainment activities. I saw some of the male animators behaving in a way that made me uncomfortable when interacting with young female guests. It did not involve me personally, so I tried not to judge too quickly.
Unfortunately, today I experienced something myself. One of the male animators at the pool shouted at me, grabbed my daughter roughly by the arm, and spoke to us in a very rude and disrespectful manner. We felt so uncomfortable that we had to leave the pool immediately. He kept calling after us, asking me to come back, but after this experience I will never participate in any activities led by the male animation team again.
This incident completely ruined my day. I came here to rest and recover my health, and instead I was left feeling stressed and upset. I believe that part of what I paid for this holiday also supports the entertainment team, so I cannot understand why guests should ever be treated this way.
It is very disappointing because this hotel is otherwise wonderful. The beautiful surroundings, excellent food, comfortable rooms, and the kindness of most of the staff make it a fantastic place to stay.
We still have almost two weeks left here, and I sincerely hope that the peaceful atmosphere, nature, delicious food, and comfortable accommodation will help my daughter and me recover and enjoy the rest of our holiday. From now on, however, I will avoid any activities organized by the men in the red shirts who introduce themselves as animators. Sadly, after today's experience, I no longer trust them.
I hope the hotel management will take this feedback seriously, because a hotel of this quality deserves an animation team that treats every guest with kindness, professionalism, and respect.

Lovely hotel and fantastic staff. All inclusive food was very good, lots of choice. The drink selection wasn't so good. This is the first hotel I've stayed in that didn't have coffee facilities in the room. We had to wait until 8am to go down to the buffet breakfast to get a cup of coffee. The gym is very dated and could do with a refresh. The entertainment staff were absolutely fantastic. Not much to do round about but magaluf is within walking distance.
