We just spent a week here & had the best time! Fantastic location - a 2 minute walk to the Marina & a 10 minute walk into the main town centre. The room was very clean, very comfy, & very well air-conditioned! The breakfast options were fantastic with something for almost everyone (the fresh fruit & potato rostis in particular were our biggest favourites). The outdoor pool is a good size & temperature, even on cloudy days. The food & evening drinks available from the hotel were fantastic with generous quantities of both. There is also free entertainment on at night & we spent most evenings sitting by the pool enjoying the live singers who all sounded amazing. The staff were all incredibly friendly & helpful, & the cleaning staff do a perfect job - we always returned to find our room spotless. The hotel grounds are also beautiful - we spent some time in the gardens watching the fish & turtles & admiring the beautiful plants, trees & flowers that have been curated with much love & care. Lots of butterflies & sparrows all over the resort, so perfect for nature lovers. The general vibe of the entire resort is very relaxed & quite quiet - we saw no rowdy groups or loud guests at all during our stay & you would never have known that anyone else was there at night so it's easy to get a good night's sleep. It is a very short walk to anything you could need - the pharmacy, Mini Mercado, bars, & the most beautiful Mexican food practically nextdoor at a place called The Green Room. For what we paid & for how often we enjoyed the room, ground & pool area, we feel that this hotel provides really good value for money. We stayed here through Jet 2 & everything ran smoothly & we had a lovely stay. Don't be put off by the reviews which talk about what a maze the hotel is - you're given a resort map & it's much easier than you would think to find your way around.
We really enjoyed our week here & would love to come back in the future. Obrigada, NH Lagos Algarve Resort! ♡

We had a very enjoyable stay at NH Hotel in Lagos. The hotel is beautifully located in a central area, with both the marina and the town centre within easy walking distance.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Even with a late arrival and an early departure in the middle of the night, they were very accommodating and made everything smooth for us.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options. The hotel also offers several restaurants and a cosy bar, which adds to the overall convenience and atmosphere.
The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are a great bonus, especially the outdoor terrace with its bar.
Another great advantage is the free-of-charge parking lot exclusively for hotel guests, which makes staying there very convenient if you are travelling by car.
One downside is that the hotel has quite a lot of stairs, especially if you are assigned a room towards the back of the property. We experienced this and, with a knee injury, it became quite difficult after a few days. We later requested a different room and were kindly given an upgrade for a small additional fee. If you have mobility issues, it is worth mentioning this in advance.
The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to a beach club, where you can rent sunbeds at a reduced rate and enjoy a relaxing day at the beach, which is a great extra service.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and definitely a place we would recommend. We will be back here!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We shared a super deluxe room, which was huge with plenty of wardrobe space.
The breakfast was plentiful with something to suit everyone. On our last night we ate at the Portuguese restraunt within the hotel complex. The food and service was wonderful. We loved having the use of a shuttle bus to the beach & beach club and found the hotel to be within walking distance of most things.

This was our first visit to Portugal and Tivoli Lagos was recommended to us by friends who had stayed earlier in the year. We spent a week here over the Easter period.
Yes, the decor is in need of some TLC but we loved the character of this unique hotel and everything was of an at least acceptable standard.
The service, food and staff were all excellent. We were on a half-board package and ate in the buffet restaurant for breakfast every day, and 4 or 5 evenings of our stay and were very pleased with the choices available and the quality of the food. The restaurant and bar staff were all so nice and helpful.
We thought the free drink voucher scheme, in exchange for not having the room serviced, was a wonderful idea. More hotels should consider this.
As someone with mobility limitations, I found Tivoli Lagos well located with easy access to the boulevard and the old town, and the marina, bus depot and train station were just a short walk away.
I would happily recommend the hotel to friends and family and look forward to a return visit myself, in the not too distant future!

Visiting from Canada and honestly I was worried after I booked this hotel THEN read the reviews... but once I arrived I really didnt have anything to complain about.
Yeah they're doing some renovations, but they seemed to be doing them in a way that minimized customer impact.
Breakfast was decent with loads of nice options.
Parking was close and secure.
Location was perfectly central.
Our room was clean, safe, and comfortable with a decent bathroom.
Staff was friendly, and spoke English well.
Only minor complaint would be that they didn't have an iron to get the wrinkles out of my packed clothes.
