We had a wonderful time at the Marsenses! The property isn’t super modern and the main pool and kiddie pool didn’t seem particularly impressive when we first arrived, but we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The hotel does an excellent job putting on shows and entertaining folks of all ages. The food at the buffet was decent, all-inclusive bar access right next to the pool was very nice, and perhaps most importantly, the fact that the property is a very short walk to a beautiful beach was the highlight of our stay.
One slightly annoying thing was we had ants in our room throughout much of our stay (possibly because my kids store candy in their backpacks like squirrels store nuts for the winter).

We had a wonderful stay and everything was excellent. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our visit.
A special congratulations to Mrs. Isa from the restaurant team for her kindness, professionalism, and outstanding service. We would also like to thank the entertainment team for their enthusiasm and the great atmosphere they created every day.
Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to return.

Room very basic! Not particularly clean, nor was the pool area especially the children splash park! Floor and tables always filthy and food left on the tables for ages.
Food was basic, always cold whatever time you arrived even if it was just as it opened. Limited options, not much meat!
Entertainment was fantastic and the staff who did it were so lovely and friendly, involving everyone but also leaving you alone if you didnt want to! Evening Entertainment was really good, just didn't go on for long enough, an hour at most.
Overall, basic hotel and food and definitely not 4*.

Honest review for families:
I'll preface this review by saying that this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed at with the children.
Pools: 4 (including splash pool)
Food: varied with good choice, well presented, and mostly tasty. Food times were also very accomodating. Canteen was clean, and staff were very attentive.
Entertainment: from small pool side activities, to big performances in the evening. The kids and adults alike will be entertained.
Rooms: we were fortunate enough to have a ground floor room, but be warned there are up to three or four flights of stairs in for others. The rooms themselves were adequate, could have been cleaner and the mattresses need updating as they're all sunken. Also disappointingly our room was only cleaned once during our 7 day stay.
Staff: the staff are brilliant, they really make the atmosphere. They're all so hard working and jolly and they really deserve praise. This includes, entertainers bar staff, waiters and waitresses and so on.
Overall 4.5/5. Would recommend.

Last July, we went on holiday to the Marsenses Ferrera Blanca Family Hotel for the fourth time.
It really feels like coming home.
The restaurant staff are always very friendly. We were happy to see Inma there again; she is always cheerful and great with children.
There are plenty of fun activities for adults, and Armand and Ali always know how to get people excited about joining in.
They explain everything clearly and always make it a fun time. It’s also really nice that there are still people on the animation team who were there in previous years. It’s a great team!
There is also plenty for children to do, including various activities and the mini-disco.
The evening shows have become even better and more impressive since the animation team members started performing more in them too.
Lorena, together with the others, has put together some wonderful shows. They are a delight to watch. The dance performances, in particular, are beautiful, with great attention paid to the sets and costumes.
The White Party was great fun, too. Armand arranged a 360 photobooth with cool props, which the kids (and secretly the adults as well) really enjoyed. There was a fun band, face painting for the kids, and—alongside the standard drinks—a table with delicious sangria and some sweets for the children.
We’re going back again in two and a half weeks because we enjoy it so much every time!
