The hotel has several undeniable advantages. Its location is excellent, just a short walk from a beautiful sandy beach, as well as many restaurants and shops. The rooms are modern, clean, and well maintained, and the surrounding area is pleasant and perfect for a family holiday.
Unfortunately, the quality of customer service left us very disappointed. The biggest issue was the complete lack of willingness from the staff to help when there were no available sunbeds or pool beds. Both the lifeguard and the reception staff told us that “it is not their problem” and made no effort to find a solution.
After a longer discussion, we were promised that the following day we would have an exclusive, complimentary pool bed reserved for us at the neighbouring hotel. Unfortunately, this promise was not kept. When we arrived, there was no reservation, and despite our questions, the staff made no attempt to resolve the situation or offer any alternative. We were left to deal with the problem on our own while travelling with a young child, which was especially disappointing.
The situation was made even worse by the chaotic towel system. Many guests were able to reserve several sunbeds and pool beds early in the morning without any consideration for others, while the hotel staff did nothing to control this behaviour. As a result, finding a place by the pool was almost impossible.
It is a real shame because the hotel itself has great potential. With better customer service and proper management of the pool area, our rating would have been much higher. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism, unwillingness to help, and failure to keep promises mean that we cannot recommend this hotel with confidence, especially to families travelling with children.

We've had a great week at this hotel. We are a couple in our 50's. The location on the beach is amazing. I think the view from the pool is probably the best in Majorca. It has super comfy beds. We've had such good sleeps. Don't believe the bad reviews. If you've booked this hotel you will love it

Nice hotel with a big rooms and amazing sea view. Very polite personal, good and quite location near big beach. No parties near it.
Breakfast buffet is the same every day, but there is a big choice of tasty and quality food.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
I paid €2,800 for 11 nights, and there has not been a single night where we were able to sleep properly without being woken up. Every night there is screaming, yelling, people running through the hallways, doors slamming, and noise from other rooms. On top of that, housekeeping starts making noise early in the morning with their trolleys and loud conversations in the hallway. This is like more like a club than hotel. You hear everything from the street aswell, and people are hear to yell, scream, get influence in body's as much as possible for time staying here and you hear all that inside of room..
The sound insulation is absolutely terrible. The rooms feel like they are made of cardboard. Even when someone simply walks past the door, you can hear everything. For a hotel charging this much money, this is completely unacceptable.
We are now on our ninth night here in room 500, and we have been woken up every single night. This has completely ruined our stay. We came here expecting comfort, rest, and basic hotel standards, but instead we got constant noise, no sleep, and zero peace.
For the price they charge, this hotel is a disgrace. I would never stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone who actually wants to sleep.

Tragic scam! Stay away from this place. The beach house suite is literally behind the bar: no privacy, noise, the view is on the back of the bar. I asked for a partial refund in order to leave, but they denied it. On top of that, the room is filthy, with sand on the floor. I will go to another hotel tomorrow and just accept I lost the money, but you are still in time to avoid this scam!!
Answer to the ridicolous answer of the hotel: 1. I booked a beachouse suite, presented on booking with a view on the beach and the palms (with completely fake photis). Not what was provided.
2. There is no "vibrant energy" in people at the bar watching directly into your room.
3. There is nothing calm about the backside since its the main street of magaluf.
The reality is that I paid extra for the "beachouse" and got scammed. Your unapologetic answer just proves that its 100% in bad faith since you keep lying. For the record, I moved out first night despite not getting any refund since the accommodation was terrible.
I will never set a foot in a Melia in my life and will make sure as many people as possible will know about your "policies".
