We stayed at this hotel from 20–24 June and booked the breakfast package. Unfortunately, apart from the stunning sea view, every other aspect of our stay was deeply disappointing.
The room was completely impractical. There was no proper wardrobe to hang our clothes, only a couple of tiny drawers whose doors would not even close properly. As a result, we had to live out of our suitcases for the entire stay. There was no minibar or even a small refrigerator, no kettle until we specifically requested one, and when the toilet paper ran out, we had to ask for that as well.
The bed was one of the worst we have ever slept on. It felt unstable and slid from side to side whenever we moved. To make matters worse, there was no proper blanket. We repeatedly asked for a light duvet over the course of three days, yet it was only delivered on our final night—far too late to make any difference.
The bathroom was unbearable. A strong sewage smell constantly filled the room, making it impossible to relax. Although the view from the window was beautiful, the persistent odour completely overshadowed it.
Cleanliness was another major issue. Despite staying for four nights, our room was never cleaned. We only managed to get fresh towels by politely asking a hotel employee we happened to encounter in the corridor. The floor throughout the room was covered with sand and dust from the moment we arrived. Every step produced a crunching sound beneath our feet. I will be attaching photographs showing the condition of the floor, which clearly reflects the poor housekeeping standards.
Breakfast deserves a separate review of its own—it was, without question, the worst hotel breakfast we have ever experienced. The quality, variety, and overall presentation were far below even the most basic expectations.
The only positive aspect of this hotel was the staff, who were polite and genuinely tried to help whenever we asked. Sadly, their efforts could not compensate for the hotel’s extremely poor facilities and maintenance.
We paid rates comparable to those of a Hilton, yet the overall experience felt closer to staying in a neglected hostel—or worse. It was astonishingly poor value for money.
Please do not be deceived by the beautiful sea view. No view is worth enduring the lack of cleanliness, the terrible facilities, and the discomfort we experienced. At this price point, there are far better hotels in Benidorm that truly deserve your money.

This was our second stay at Hotel Casual Pop Art Benidorm, and it felt just as special as the first. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome.
A heartfelt thank you to Tamara and Dani at reception for their kindness, professionalism, and always being ready to help with a smile. Special thanks as well to Jawad in the breakfast area, whose friendliness and attention made every morning a pleasure.
We were truly touched by the lovely wedding anniversary gift the hotel prepared for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our celebration even more memorable.
Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. We look forward to returning again! ❤️😊

Second time staying at this hotel and for the money you pay its excellent !! Its not 4* but nether is the price!!!!
Tamara on reception was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel welcomed.
Arrived at the hotel early but Tamara provided a locker for our luggage witch you get a key for.
Had emailed the hotel prior to our visit requesting a high floor which we got !!. The view is spectacular and in all honesty is worth staying here for. The other reason is the beds ....the best nights sleep ever and black out curtains just an added bonus.
It's not 4* but clean and definitely good value for money.
Didn't have breakfast this time but did previously and couldn't fault it.
First time we stayed we were given a family room which had 1 double bed and 1 single..(only 2 of us) 2nd time we had a room with 2 single beds which we did find quite small ..passing the bottom of the bed to get out to the balcony was difficult, so next time I'll definitely be booking a family room.
Will definitely return to this hotel stunning view and perfect location not to mention the excellent bed !! What more could you ask for for a cheap short break.
Don't expect 4* and you won't be disappointed we will definitely be returning for our 3rd time next January

We regularly visit this hotel and on every occasion, our stay has been consistently excellent and the best value for money. We have a Cockapoo dog who is also made to feel welcome with a bed, bowls and a small treat. Rooms have a mini-fridge (no kettle or coffee making facilities in the room, but reception have them if needed). With all the staff, nothing is too much trouble. Location is fantastic, few minutes away from bars, shops, restaurants, either old or new town, and hotel is just at the start of Poniente Beach. Would recommend sea view room, you won't be disappointed with the sunrise and sunset views. Rooms can be very warm but A/C can be used. Beds and pillows super comfy, bathrooms are roomy and have Rituals toiletries ( no conditioner). Considering the hotel is beach-front, the rooms are quiet. Just a couple of English TV channels. Breakfast is ok, small selection but again, value for money. Coin operated Lockers available to keep luggage (€1 per locker, refundable). We park in one of a few public car parks, all within 6-7 min walk, approx €€18 per day, undercover. If you are lucky, you can park for free on street parking. Special shout-out to Tamara on Reception who is so helpful and welcoming.

Awesome location, definitely recommend it. The walls of the room were a bit dirty, but overall good value for money.
