I had a great stay at this hotel — overall a really positive experience.
Yes, part of the hotel is currently under renovation, but honestly it didn’t affect my stay at all. There was no disturbing noise, and everything felt calm and comfortable.
The rooms in the available area are slightly dated, but still well-maintained and perfectly fine to stay in.
The food was excellent — very diverse and always something to choose from. There are also many bars around the hotel (around 6–7), and even a 24-hour bar at the reception, which is a big plus.
The entertainment program is very active, and the animation team is strong and engaging — there’s always something going on.
The only thing I would suggest improving is adding a pontoon. Entering the water directly from the beach can be a bit tricky because of rocks and corals — it’s easy to hurt your feet if you’re not careful. Water shoes are definitely recommended.
Other than that, it’s a great place to stay. And if you’re into kitesurfing, this hotel is a perfect choice.

Family based Resort centred around children. Lots of buffet food variety but average quality. Rooms quite large but not interior design needs a big cuddle! Very noisey with loud music nightly. till some nights 10.30pm Poolside very good but the beach access is even better & this is what made my stay good. They offer many packages but if you don't want to share your holiday with lots of children go elsewhere

We had a reservation in this Hotel (Gravity hotel & aqua park) for 7 nights through the site Stayforlong. And the payment had already been done by credit card. But the hotel manager kept insisting that we pay extra 1900 € cause according to that manager the reservation we made is destined for Europeans and not Arabs. Even though, on the site, there was nothing that indicated we have to be europeans or that we have to change the region on the site ( which wasn't even shown ont the front page)
Additionally, on the site, after choosing our room, we had to fill an application where we were asked to put all the name of the guests that will be staying in the room along with their nationalities.
The reservation and the payment continued without any problems until we received our voucher from the site.
Again, there were no problems until we arrived at the hotel and they insisted that we had mentioned on the site that we were coming from Europe so according to the hotel( and only the hotel) we have to pay extra.
Naturally, we immediately called the number mentioned on our voucher( of the site) along with USA's branch and they said that they are aware of that problem and sent us an official email mentioning that they have nothing to do with the extra fees the hotel is attempting to collect and that they don't differentiate between Europeans or Middle Easterns and that it's up to the hotel.
However, at the hotel, they were lying a lot and kept changing and twisting their words along with an intermediate agency that we had never heard about because we only dealt with Stayforlong and were not supposed to know about that agency( Travel ways Egypt) who also didn't help and they refused to take responsibility and pay for those extra non-sense fees.
That Manager was pretending to be nice at first but by the end when we insisted not to pay those fees because firsly, it's NOT FAIR and we didn't even have that kind of money because, for us, everything is paid and it was more than double the price we paid, he started to show his real face. He kept saying "there is nothing i can do for you" and would go and leave us waiting and then come again and say the same thing in an unkind way and literally kicking us out even though we have two kids and a very old sick lady who has high blood pressure and a heart condition. They did nothing to comfort her. They left us in their lobby from 1:00 PM to almost 7:00 PM, not caring at all about how we felt or how extremely exhausted we already were from a long 8-hours bus trip from Cairo.
What shocked me was that we had previously used Stayforlong.com several times in Tunisia( two times) , Paris ( two times) and non of those hotels in those countries ever mentioned any thing about extra fees and everything always worked smoothly because HONESTLY everything was legitimate.
Stayforlong kept insisting that it's not their fault as well as the intermediate agency that also refused to take responsibility and pay those extra fees for us.
And we blame all of those three ( Gravity hotel & aqua park , Travel ways Egypt and Stayforlong).
By the end the intermediate ( Travel ways) ordered the hotel to cancel our reservation and kicking us out of the hotel. Non of those 3 took responsibility for what happened to us, for the emotional abuse or for our bad physical state.
Leaving us homeless for the night and still not caring at all and were really rude by the end especially that manager at the hotel whose name is (Maher).
And NOW, the intermediate and the site haven't decided yet about which one of them is going to reimburse us for what we paid and to compensate us for all the stress, all the time we wasted waiting for nothing and all the emotional stress where at some point me and my mother's hands were shaking from the injustice and the exhaustion. Not to mention the worst, KICKING US OUT and not even apologizing for that.
As for the location, the hotel didn't have a nice entrance at all that suited a 5-star hotel and, honestly, the lobby also wasn't that amazing ( for the price they were asking for)

A lot of the staff are rude and aggressive in tone. Especially the security, they are very hostile when asking to see your band to enter the hotel from the beach or side. It’s unnecessary, they could just ask nicely and treat you like a paying guest - not some criminal trying to break in.
They also never remember you, even after 10 days at the hotel and if you leave for 10 minutes and go back in. You’re met with the same tone and conversation.
Front desk security were great, the guy on the top outside bar and guys in the bar at reception all fantastic.
Food was pretty good, didn’t have any illness and ate most things. It was a bit boring selection consistently though and definitely not 5* in service, setting or food.
The beachfront isn’t very nice, if you walk right or left towards the other hotels they’re really nice beachfronts. But the actual beach itself isn’t great (not their fault) but the loungers and sun protectors they’re put up are pretty ugly.
We booked a tour from the limo company at the hotel, it wasn’t great. Said breakfast included and a coach with a toilet, but it wasn’t. No breakfast, put in a small van, which my partner couldn’t fit in the seat. Tour was long and relentless, with upselling throughout and pointless add on stops. Took way longer than they said too. This was the pyramid trip, I would recommend fly or private trip for this.
The hotel is very loud. It has loud music blaring all day; and not the best singers at night either. I personally found the lack of peace and quiet difficult.
It was ok; clean and hygienic. but certainly not 5* and I think there’s much better value for money options.
Location wise, if you like resort/ all inclusive vibe you’ll probably like it. If you want to go on trips and see other things, it can be inconvenient. Costs an hour each way and usually £20 extra onto trips.
I would recommend Moby dick steak house in Hurghada, Bready artisan bakery and Eva spa. The marina area is nice too.

This was my first time in Egypt so didn't know what to expect. Facilities are clean and nice for the price we paid. The food was fresh but bland needed more flavour but don't think they care. Needs definitely a refurb and part of it is under construction as we went. Beautiful location with it's own bay and fantastic staff are the reasons I would go back.
