Just back from a 10 night stay. Reception area probably the nicest part of this hotel. Rooms are OK however do not waste your money asking to upgrade to a sea view as all balconies are concrete so sitting down you cannot see anything you need to stand up. All inclusive is only for local drink only, if you want a pina colada for example they make this with malibu rum therefore you have to pay, I don't understand why this cannot be made with their local white rum. The young barman (didn't catch his name) is miserable, unhelpful and has a can't be bothered attitude. Dolores very friendly and Bruno in the restaurant polite. From Thursday to Sunday/Monday lots of stag/hen parties round the pool, very rowdy, noisy and not relaxing at all. The sun loungers round the pool are so close together it's like sardines in a tin, spent most of the time at the beach which is lovely. Breakfast and lunch ok however evening meals not great, very repetitive, food not hot. They have a couple of microwaves however this just makes the food soggy so we did a few nights eating out which is much better. Tables at the pool bar outside do not get cleaned regularly and some are disgusting. Had a couple of power cuts whilst there which is not good especially for elderly guests on the high floors or disabled guests. The power was off quite a few hours and again the next morning. I will definitely be back to Palma Nova however will definitely not stay at Globales Panama and would not recommend it.

Great hotel, large rooms, staff are helpful.
The location is close to the beach/shops/public transport.
The food is good, lots of choice. I would recommend all inclusive as drinks can add up to quite a lot if you pay separate (even coffee and fizzy drinks).
Only thing I didn’t like is some of the guests can be really noisy but that is not the hotel’s fault of course.

So after bringing my wife to Palma Nova and staying at the Globalis Panama hotel last year, we had such a lovely time when we returned to London, we booked our holiday for 2025 almost immediately at the same venue, the staff were amazing, even had a duo with Viktoria the entertainer!
On returning this year, we entered the room and found the air con was not functioning properly, thinking how great our 2024 holiday was I waited till a bit later on the 1st day to report the issue at reception.
Here is where the discord began the guy on the desk was pleasant but his response to the issue was " they are all broken" nothing more, no promise of an engineer, so I fashioned a temporary fix myself and opened the vanes for the air to flow.
We went down for our all inclusive meal, I personally thought the food was great, barring the temperature, which is common for a buffet.
We looked to the entertainment board to find every day bingo at 9pm, then for one hour from 10pm to 11pm sharp a myriad of entertainers, 11pm sharp nothing, no music, just the sound of our own voices despite the bar being open to around midnight.
We arrived on a Tuesday and noted this all on day one!
So on Thursday, pool day, sun was shining, pool was a little chilly to start when it opened at 10am but once you were moving about it warmed up nicely.
So here's where the holiday went downhill, on getting out of the pool via the stairs I got to the top and stepped onto the interceptor drain and found myself falling hard to the floor, banging my elbow, knee and left side.
The drain had given way and my left foot had gone into the drain causing my fall. On inspection it was clear that the interlocking peices of the drain had parts missing which caused them to move instead of being secure.
3 or 4 of the other guests came to my aid, no one else, just the guests offered care and assistance. The So called life guard was sitting chatting to male guests and didn't move to offer any assistance despite her looking over and seeing the commotion.
It gets worse, my wife went to her to get some plasters as both my knee and elbow had bled, to be offered the strip of plasters (the one you have to cut with scissors) but she had no scissors, when she came back from wherever she proceeded to cut the plasters along the guaze instead of across it, ergo plaster now unusable.
My wife tried to explain to her, but the life guard just cut the same plasters in half, it appeared she had no idea about 1st aid.
Once I had regained my composure, I hobbled to reception to get first aid, you guessed it, no first aid kit and no first aider, the manager told me to go to see the life guard, "been there, done that mate".
Finally the manager found me some non-sterile plasters which the male receptionist tried to open until I told him to stop.
The lifeguard was called to reception and tried to defend herself by telling the manager she had offered me the alcohol spray ( like I was really going to put 80% alcohol on an open wound). I mentioned no one came to see if I was injured, no response, I showed her the plasters she had cut, her response "your wife told me to so this" my wife is a 20year veteran welfare officer in a primary school, I am certain she knows how use a plaster.
So, finally I left reception and returned to the poolside.
Here's where it gets Interesting, the lifeguard put a wet floor sign over the hole, the manager did tell us the engineer had been called to fix the issue, I did respond to him that the lifeguard had told us this was reported a week ago, and on Wednesday another female guest had also tripped on the loose drain cover. I got no response to this.
So.. my experience has led me to these points.
1, no first aid trained members of staff
2, no duty of care to guests
3, negligent staff ignoring health and safety issues.
Honestly I really love this hotel, but cannot see myself returning, I will return to Palma, maybe in a Globalis Hotel, just not the Panama..
To be clear, there are some phenomenal members of staff there, despite the lack of Training.

The rooms are clean and neat. The beach is 5 minutes by walking. The food was average, not good for a 4 star hotel. Everything seemed extra; they charge a deposit for beach towels and to use the safe in your own room.

Night time food was very much the worst I have experienced EVER on holiday, even with being first in line the pasta was already cold...not even warm!!
Breakfast was much better.
Christina on reception was so warm & welcoming.
Also unfortunately did not catch the lady's name who provided the entertainment, such a beautiful smile made everyone's night (hard-working lady)
The hotel was very peaceful at night & very clean.
A good experience if you don't have an evening meal.
Don't stay for the magic show...sorry but it was just awful, all the other singers were brilliant 😀
