Overall, this is a really good hotel, and my family and I had a fantastic stay.
One thing I really appreciated was that there were no nasty surprises. Unlike some all-inclusive hotels, there were no hidden deposits or unexpected charges for food or drinks at certain times. Here, all-inclusive genuinely means all-inclusive, and they certainly don't skimp on the spirits in the drinks!
The food was really good, with plenty of choice every day. There are some dishes that are available daily, which is to be expected, but there were also lots of different options each day to keep things interesting. A special mention goes to the Magnus restaurant, which served proper British-style back bacon on two mornings—much appreciated!
The bar and reception staff were always friendly, welcoming and great with children. Even the maintenance staff were excellent. When they saw me struggling with four suitcases, they immediately offered to carry our luggage to the room on arrival and back again at checkout without us even asking. That level of service really stood out.
Our room was cleaned whenever requested, with fresh towels, clean bedding, and the bathroom and floors all cleaned to a good standard.
If I had a few suggestions for improvement, they would be fairly minor. Firstly, the coffee machine in our room didn't work. Personally, I don't think there's any need for fancy coffee machines. Most of your British guests would probably be much happier with a simple kettle!
Secondly, the check-in process could definitely be improved. I only realised at the last minute that there's an online express check-in option, but it wasn't very visible. Making guests more aware of this before arrival would help reduce queues.
Our check-in itself was quite slow. The member of staff was friendly and polite, but the process took a long time. There was a large group checking in ahead of us, which obviously wasn't his fault, but it did create a lengthy wait.
The only part that was a little frustrating came after he'd finished checking in the group. Instead of taking their room keys and heading off, they decided to spend several minutes asking about local attractions, bus routes, beaches and other tourist information. With three families, all with tired children, waiting to check in at around 2am, this probably wasn't the best time for those questions. The staff member was very helpful and happily answered everything, but in situations like that it would be better to politely suggest discussing those topics during normal reception hours, so waiting guests can get to their rooms as quickly as possible.
Overall though, these are only small points. We had a brilliant holiday, the staff were wonderful, the food was excellent, and I would happily stay here again.

Stayed a week on the magnus side with my wife and 2 kids last week, absolutely loved our stay here, the food was top notch and catered for everyone, if you go hungry there is something wrong. Range of drinks was fantastic, and you even had beer and wine on tap. The staff were extremely hardworking and friendly. Would like to give a mention to Julian and Lorenzo, so friendly and a credit to your hotel. Our beds were made every day and towels replaced daily. We would definitely return, and hopefully soon.

This is a very honest review. We got back Thursday after doing 7 nights. Pool is great for kids. Perhaps 7 plus they really get their use out of as the slides are the type where you go right under water when you come down. Food delicious, although no wheetabix which my daughter loves. We have figured all inclusive isnt for us as she’s so picky. Entertainment great. Rooms pretty clean., but no blankets unless ask for one. Air con system brill, can set own temperature. No bottled water or kettle which was a biggy for me. Drinks great, coffee nice. I probably wouldn’t stop here again as i want to be more central knowing a local shop is a stones throw away

Location:
The area was nice, especially the walk to the boulevard. The mountains surrounding the hotel were beautiful to look at and really added to the experience.
Room:
The room was basic, but some things were disappointing. For example, the hair dryer was not working, and the yellow curtains looked like they had been there for years. It even felt like someone had smoked in the room before.
Cleanliness:
This was probably our biggest frustration. The room was not cleaned properly during our stay. We had the impression that only the towels and bed sheets were changed, while things like cleaning the floor and bathroom were often skipped, maybe because the cleaning staff were short on time.
We had a lot of ants in the bathroom. They seemed to come from behind the water tap, where they would hide and then return several times a day. The bathroom floor was constantly covered with ants. We also found a cockroach on our first day. These are not things you want to see, especially when travelling with a baby.
Another issue was the baby chairs in the restaurant. They were often dirty from previous babies and did not seem to be cleaned properly before the restaurant opened.
Staff:
The staff were very friendly. My son was always smiling and laughing with Cecilia, a lovely lady who really deserves credit for her kindness and attention.
Food and Drinks:
The food and drinks were good, and we have no complaints about the quality. There was a lot of fried food, which is not ideal for someone with Crohn’s disease like me, but I cannot blame the hotel for that.
Pool and Facilities:
The pool was good and spacious, although it was often very crowded. Sometimes it had to be closed because children had accidents in the pool. These things can happen and it is not the hotel’s fault.
Wi-Fi:
The Wi-Fi was a disaster. I would rate it 1/10. When it did work, it was extremely slow and unreliable.
Value for Money:
When I think about the overall experience, I would say yes, it was still good value for money. However, I hope the hotel reads this review and takes the feedback seriously to improve these points.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere was very good. Most guests were friendly and pleasant. Of course, there are always some less friendly people, but you find that everywhere you go.
Review score: 4/5. A 3 would be harsh score because we really had a good time, took a lot of pictures and had a good vacation the first time with our baby. I only hope they really look at the 'critics' so someone else isn't bothered by it.
Thank you and have a nice summer.
