We stayed for one week on a half-board basis. The property is modern, very well maintained, and offers everything you'd expect from a 5-star resort. The room was small but well-equipped, clean, and comfortable, and the wi-fi worked adequately well, both, in the room and in nearby areas.
The resort features a large, attractive pool area, including a separate adults-only pool, along with a reasonably well-equipped gym.
The food was delicious and varied, with daily themed dinners offering plenty of options to choose from.
Staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help.
The property is about a 20-minute walk from the beach, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and car rental options nearby.

We stayed in the Signature side of Esperides Resort for our Honeymoon. The resort felt very modern, I believe the adults only side was only opened this year. It was so quiet and peaceful and the rooms very decorated to a high standard, with lots of sockets, USB ports etc.
The staff are amazing. Our flight was delayed and the night manager, I think his name was Manos, ensured we had food saved as we'd arrived after the restaurant had closed. Our suitcases were taken to our room via a golf buggy whilst we ate and upon arriving at our room we were presented with a bottle of wine, a fresh fruit platter, bottles of water and a tray of Baklava.
The breakfast on the signature side was very good, a wide choice of cooked and continental food. The manager of the breakfast buffet was amazing. I can't remember his name, but he was always polite, assertive and remembered what we'd have to drink. Omelettes were made fresh to your choice of ingredients.
Evening in the evening, the food was off a good quality and standard. Often food can become repetitive and boring in resorts like this, but they had themed nights where it changed it up daily and kept it exciting. Again the waiters and waitresses were efficient and polite. We were full board and have the option to switch lunch for dinner and vice versa if we were planning on being out for the day/evening. The resort also have a great selection of wine, alcohol and soft drinks available.
Our room had it's own private pool which was great, and we had a lot of privacy and it's high walled either side. The only problem with this is that the sun moved round by about 2pm and the afternoon was in shade, although still hot. There was another shared pool a few yards away that had the sun on it all day long, so this wasn't really an issue for us.
If you're staying here, I recommend going to the village of Koutouloufari, for a wide selection of local taverns and traditional Greek/Cretan restaurants. The town of Old Hersonissos is about a half an hour walk away which is worth a visit too.
The location is great, very quiet, but a walk away from the beach, the main town and the harbour.
We would happily stay here again, it's one of the best hotels we have stayed at.

We had a great stay at Esperides Resort Crete Signature Collection. The rooms were very nice, modern, clean, and comfortable. The whole resort has a stylish and relaxed feel.
Our favorite part was the Upper Deck restaurant and the main pool area. The views are beautiful, the atmosphere is amazing, and it’s a great place to relax and enjoy your holiday. The food was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Crete.

Unlike massive chain hotels, this place blends right into the traditional village with charming low-rise buildings. I loved the cozy and private vibe. Having private pools and great common pools was a huge plus. Some rooms near the restaurants were a bit overlooked from above, but our room was great. Impeccably clean facilities and genuinely friendly staff!

I had a fantastic stay at Esperides Resort in Crete. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views from the dining hall that made every meal even more enjoyable. The food was excellent throughout my stay, and I genuinely looked forward to every breakfast and dinner.
What really made the experience special, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for them. A special mention also goes to Marsela, who looked after my room and was always friendly and thoughtful.
The only downside is the location. The resort is situated at the top of a fairly steep hill, around a 20-minute walk from the town. There is no bus service up the hill, so unless you're happy with the walk, you'll likely need to use taxis.
Aside from that, I have very little to criticise. The beautiful setting, excellent food, and exceptional staff made for a wonderful stay, and I would happily return in the future.
