The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool was great - I especially liked the joined pools with El Manzah. Entertainment was okay. Food was fine but breakfast got very repetitive. Some staff were friendly, but others not so much and service seemed better for European guests. Overall, a decent stay if you mainly want to relax and enjoy the pool. and the location is very good and walkable.

For those who want to book need to know the realistic situation-from outside it looks amazing and the lobby is really beautiful. But the rooms aren’t a 4* hotel standard. Compared to the European level it would be more like 2*
The rooms need to be renovated-lots of stains everywhere and old things.
Plus side is the great balcony from which one you can enjoy the evening entertainment if you don’t feel like going outside.
The AC doesn’t work-luckily we were during a period where it was warm, but not extremely hot.
Positive things are that you can walk to the marina, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The beach is right across the hotel and personally I preferred it more than the pool, although the majority used the pools. Sea was calm enough to swim this time, but there were medusas so you might have to watch out.
The water isn’t very deep so it’s good for those with kids. Drinks at the beach were basic, but for me that was fine.
The food in hotel was a bit repetitive, but there were also many different, fresh things every day. I am a bit of a picky eater so I didn’t eat everything, but there were many things I liked and sticked to them.
The warm out of the oven fresh pan au choco were my highlight every day. Kudos to the service working in the restaurant, because people leave such a mess behind them-don’t be shocked! I hope the hotel pays them well for the things they have to endure with the guests. There were many really nice servers-leave them a tip because they really deserve it!
There are entertainment programs every evening and during the day as well. All in all, it’s not the highest standard, but also for this price you probably will rarely get an all inclusive like here.

Firstly holiday gems company we booked this through stated 5 star, thats a Lie,no its not... The official website for this hotel is a 4 star but after visiting i would definitely put it at a 3 star in European standards.
BUT i cannot fault the staff, especially in the restaurant, they are very attentive and pleasant so were the reception staff and bar staff.
I am a diabetic and coke zero was served with meals BUT pool bar said they don't have any nor water at pool bar just alcohol coffee or sugar juices so if you are diabetic you can only get sugar free in restaurant and certain bars inside.
Onmy snacks where ice cream or crepes and sandwiches were the same each afternoon spicy chopped chicken salad.
Also those with children, There is NO chips/french fries served for children at any meal times and I have a child with special needs who only eats these but when I spoke to reception the staff were very helpful and they spoke to chef and said they would serve her a plate of chips for lunch and dinner which was a relief for us. So dont be shy to ask if this is all your kids will eat they did accomodate us.
Food was ok but no butter just margarine, was a shame for a 4 star hotel. No ala cart option dining as stated on The hotel website for one night of your choice each week you stay, it states 4 restaurants... no there was only one. I think they should put a disclaimer on there website if there are seasonal changes with restaurants, as its false advertising.
From the front of the hotel it is very grand and palasial but behind the scenes its outdated and very very tired in all areas.
Wifi unless you are in the reception area is non existent even by pool you only get it if you are nearer to reception, other side of hotel you can't get any. In room I cant get any WiFi right now its connection failed.
On some of website pictures they show these different restaurants but we haven't been to them, as they are closed down. And both indoor pools were shut for repair renovation and when we had a rainy day it was a shame as we would of liked to swim indoors but again false advertising. Disclaimer on website should say if pools are closed temporarily for renovation or seasonal. We pay to stay in hotels with amenities seen on the websites and expect them to be available we would not have stayed here if we had of known the truth with restaurant options and pools being closed also disrepear of the rooms. Its all false and unfair for consumers.
Room seemed clean on the surface but don't look under the bed, also found a pin in carpet could of been painful if stepped on, cleaners came on days we requested room to be clean and made the bed ect, but so many shabby and damaged areas, enamel in bath was coming off and crack in toilet seat nipped our skin we have spoken to staff to get replaced and a man did come and replace, also our bath plug went missing one day after cleaners had been in but again we told reception and one was brought up to room. Cracks in tiles walls heavily damaged in areas. Very poor patch up repairs in bathrooms made it look like a 2 star hotel. This isnt what is expected from a 4 star hotel.
I understand hotel owners are coming out of a very hard time with covid and no tourists have been coming so have had no investment to renovate anywhere but at least lower the star rating so people can not be duped into thinking the quality they are getting is higher standards than that you now have to offer
Sadly the shabby areas behind the grand frontage let the whole hotel down.
But again I will say all staff were very hard working and animation team work very hard for the hotel.
But please dont expect European 4/5 star standards.

The star rating and the price do not match the quality of services here at all. First of all, at check-in we had to pay a fee of 40 euros per person — a fee we had no prior knowledge of. This is our sixth day here, and we haven’t received any toilet paper even once. Towels were changed only twice, and they’re of questionable cleanliness — damp, just neatly folded. The elevators have been out of order for two days now, so we are forced to use the service elevator or the stairs. During lunch and dinner, don’t expect the waiters to refill your tiny drink glasses more than twice unless you tip them.
The only good thing about this place is the location — and that’s it. The rooms are dirty and neglected. The staff at the reception barely speak English, and even when they do understand you, they won’t listen. The hotel yard is shared with another hotel.
Unless you have around 200–300 euros to hand out in tips to the staff, you might not have a pleasant experience at this hotel.

Room 🛋️The room we got (268) looked decent, the furniture was older but everything was clean. The cleaning ladies came roughly every other day to clean our room. The hotel is rated 4 stars, but I would give it 3 instead. For example, I stayed in a much nicer and better hotel in Turkey that only had 3 stars. The hotel organizes daily activities and the animation team gets a solid 10/10.
Food 🍗Their food is different from ours, it's not seasoned but it’s pretty spicy. I'm very picky when it comes to food, but I never was hungry.
Staff 👤All hotel staff (waiters, cooks, cleaners) and those from the beach café (waiters, security) were very polite and always ready to help. I especially have to praise the waiters Karim Baccarri and Touhami Hajjri who are excellent at their job and truly deserve a advancement.
Unpleasant experience ❗We had a unpleasant experience at the hotel exchange office (where we exchanged money and paid deposits for beach towels). When we got the towels, we paid a deposit of 20€ for two towels (we paid in euros because we didn’t have tunisian dinars). Later, when we went to return the towels and get our money back, they claimed we hadn’t paid in euros but in TND, and they gave us back 60 TND (even if the valute was 1 euro = 3.33 TND). Also, every time we exchanged money, the exchange rate was always rounded down (no decimals), so we kept losing small amounts each time.On top of that, we were also ripped off when they charged us the tourist tax — the contract said 12 TND per person, per day, but at the end we paid more than that. We didn’t want to argue with them because we were on vacation after all, but this incident left a really negative impression, they should have just said they didn’t have change instead of treating us like fools, especially because we chose to spend our well-deserved vacation at their place.
