Needs new beds asap!!! I was very disappointed about the comfort levels, the beds were extremely squeaky, and very hard and uncomfortable. Everytime I moved in bed during the night it was so noisy it kept waking me up and I could also hear the guests bed in the next room squeaking loudly everytime they moved!
The breakfast was good, lots to choose from - I recommend going to the chef near the back of the canteen where they will do tasty customised freshly fried eggs/omelettes.
I have stayed here twice previously over the past few years and it was great before, but I won’t stay here again unless I know that they have new beds! I have never slept so bad!
I also remember there used to be a very friendly gentleman for many years working here and he would greet the guests in the canteen and that personal touch is now also missing as I didn’t see him this year.

The hotel breakfast is really comprehensive. You will definitely find everything for everyone. Good location. A short walk to the beach and shops nearby. There is also a large public parking area next door for those traveling by car.
The hotel is old. Everything is a bit sloppy. The walls feel like they are made of paper, meaning you can hear noises. Both from the outside and from the adjacent rooms. I could have given three stars for the location and breakfast, but the first room we got counts the stars. You shouldn't be allowed to use a room like this. A really musty basement smell, or mold. The pictures show the problem, which is quite clear. Still, the hotel delayed changing the room during the day. After two days, the smell had already spread to the clothes. After changing the room, the smell left the clothes a few days later. Shocking that this kind of room is offered to paying customers in the first place. Shameful.

Staff were really nice from reception to cleaners. Rooms are a bit tired but ok. The main issue for me is that the AC was not good enough to cool the rooms and the fridge provided did keep things cool. The morning buffet was varied and plentiful. There was a water dispenser available but you were not allowed to fill up your bottle which was a bit churlish. Overall. Good but could be great with a couple repairs / improvements.

Before booking a room in this hotel, please read an honest review.
This hotel absolutely does not match its claimed 4 stars.
Food: dinners are tasteless, and there is no choice at all. Tables are always occupied, and if there are any free ones, they are dirty and not cleaned. I took a free table, but the staff made me leave, saying it was “reserved for other guests.” There was no reservation sign. No one apologized. I believe it was the kitchen manager. When I was taking photos of the dining area, she ran up and demonstratively threw plates in front of me.
Cleanliness and condition of the dining hall: storage rooms smell of mold, plates are scratched and poorly washed, walls are crumbling, dirt and greasy stains are everywhere. At breakfast, I had to clean the table myself because the staff did not bother.
Staff: the rude behavior of the so-called “manager” completely ruined the impression of the stay.
Infrastructure: in the lobby there is no tile, but cheap laminate patched with tape. Rooms are old and very worn out.
Location: the sea is indeed close, but you can’t swim there because it’s next to a port and the water is dirty. To find a clean beach, you have to drive at least 15 minutes by car.
Conclusion: for the same price, there are 3-star hotels on the coast that are far better than this so-called “4-star” one. My vacation here was ruined, and I strongly do not recommend this hotel.

Rooms basic but very clean and comfortable, the staff make this hotel everyone is so friendly and helpful, I cannot pick out any individual as everyone goes above and beyond.
Food excellent so fresh and well prepared, frequent changes in menu, great choices, especially vegetarian partner ( a veggie) very pleased, bar staff kind and helpful, waiting staff fabulous so fast and efficient.
