What we loved about Creta Maris:
* The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and genuinely went out of their way to find us a room that matched our preferences.
* The gardens and the resort grounds are beautifully landscaped and impeccably maintained.
* Everything you could possibly need is conveniently available on-site, including several shops and a supermarket.
* The beach is stunning, with crystal-clear water and a relaxing atmosphere.
* Finding available sunbeds was never an issue, even during busy hours.
* The resort’s mobile app is intuitive and very convenient to use.
* The Greek restaurant was by far the highlight of the dining experience, serving the best food on the property.
What we didn’t like:
* The room falls well below what we would expect from a 5-star resort. It feels quite basic, and the bathroom is equally underwhelming.
* Most drinks, including the wine, are dispensed from machines and are of noticeably poor quality. Considering the resort costs around €600 per night, this is very disappointing.
* The overall food quality is average (around 6–7/10). The vegetables lacked freshness and flavor, which was particularly surprising given Greece’s reputation for excellent produce.
* The à la carte restaurants were also disappointing. Even at the steakhouse, guests have to pay extra for a quality steak, which feels out of place at a luxury all-inclusive resort.
* The resort can be quite noisy in the evenings, with entertainment and activity continuing until late at night, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere.

We had such an amazing stay at Creta Maris Resort and can’t wait to return! We visited a few years ago with our toddler, and it remains one of our favourite family holidays.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel at home throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with so much variety that there was always something for everyone, including little ones.
The location is fantastic, with everything you need nearby and easy access to the beach and local area. One of the biggest highlights for our family was the water park, it was absolutely amazing and kept our toddler entertained for hours. It really made the resort stand out from others we’ve visited.
We made so many wonderful family memories here, and we’re already planning to come back. We would highly recommend Creta Maris Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, family friendly holiday with excellent facilities.

We had an amazing experience at Creta Maris! It is truly a 5 star resort, unlike Minos Imperial, we left Minos and came here to find a gem in Crete. It had everything and more; delicious and variety food, restaurants, bars, snacks, etc. only down side was no room service and dinner finished 21:30 all dinner restaurants closed. They did have a late dinner open until midnight but just a few stuff available there. Also, you have to reserve dinner a day in advance and if you don’t you can only use the buffets. Unfortunately, two of the best oceanfront ones were always booked so we didn’t get a chance to dine there while we were there for 4 nights. However, the buffets were truly delicious food no your standard buffets, luxurious authentic Greek plus food for picky kids like pizza burgers fries. Rooms were very clean, but not so big. Family rooms usually have a bedroom or at least a living room with a sofa, this one was a studio they just added a bed and a crib and called it a family room.
The manager Mr. Manolo, helped us out with a room when they were fully booked and late checkout, excellent customer service, lots of thanks to him.
Beach was beautiful , minimal waves, very safe for kids; countless amount of pools. Not to mention the exiting waterpark right by our room! Arcade (pricey), billiard tables, ping pong, we were never bored. Would definitely recommend Creta Maris to everyone visiting Greece because of all it offered, the location which is only 30 mins to the airport/ferry which we took to Santorini. Its both city life and beachfront! Nice Greek live music too some nights.

Excellent resort. Staff were all friendly, attentive, and helpful. Special shout out to Kiki, who patiently taught us the basics of Greek in two poolside lessons.
The site is extensive, with many pools, bars, restaurants, and lots of activities. The onsite water park meant we didn't need to venture to the big one 15km up the road, even with our older children.
Our rooms were upgraded to the adult area upon arrival, which have access to a few more pool and bar areas. The key benefit of that was a separate section in the main buffet restaurant, where there was always space even when the main area was at peak times. This would be worth paying for.
Food was all great, two restaurant highlights were Pithos (organic local produce) and Mademi (meat-fest, with idyllic sea view location). The booking app was a bit fiddly at first, but once we'd figured out exactly which booking name to use from our party, typed exactly with no spaces, it got easier.
We'd recommend doing the hotel tour, it was nice hearing about the resort owners and founders, and the history of the place.
It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended. Many thanks to all the staff for welcoming us during our stay, and we hope to see you again.

Been here for two weeks and our last day is tomorrow! Absolutely gutted to be leaving this place! It is outstanding, from the friendly staff to the resort its-self, everything has been nothing but incredible! The food, rooms and facilities are amazing! Will definitely be back! It is perfect for couples or families. Thank you to everyone who works here for making our family holiday so special!
