Spacious, clean, pleasant, secure and safe - but bring Imodium.
Look up Arabia Azur on Google satellite view and you will understand its unique selling point. Beyond its countless swimming pools, it features a private beach, islands and house reef that offer jaw-dropping aquatic wildlife moments from your room.
The hotel is clean, immaculately maintained and manned by friendly and obliging staff. The architecture is reminiscent of 90s charm, albeit now appearing rather dated. Rooms and spaces are large and well air conditioned. You never feel crowded.
It is a short transfer from the airport and a stone’s throw from the marina which was great for us as we took daily boat trips.
Now, the food and drink was utterly abysmal and it beggars belief how an otherwise well-run hotel can offer such revolting “cuisine”. This really spoiled our stay. Whilst the salads were well-presented, anything to which heat was applied was bland, tasteless and resembled the texture of either cardboard or mush. Based on the state of the reception toilets, the food had taken several victims.
Despite each restaurant day following a different ‘theme’, this offered merely a veneer of variety, with most nights offering the same recycled menu of unsatisfying slop. The “mint” gin cocktail resembled Listerine.
A thank you to the pizza chefs in the beach restaurant - the only lunch item with any appetising mouthfeel that did not give us food poisoning.
Otherwise, this is a good value resort with well-maintained grounds and clear separation for adults who want peace and quiet by the ocean and kids entertainment by the pool.

We 1000% recommend Arabia Azur Resorts. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with chilled face towels and refreshments before we even checked in. We're so grateful for Tonja at guest services!!! She recommended wonderful excursions and restaurants within the resort. Since she knew it was our anniversary, each day there was a lovely surprise either in our room or at the restaurant she made us reservations for. Every single person we interacted with at the resort was extremely kind and professional. The entire resort is beautifully decorated, clean and easy to navigate. We were lucky to experience their buffet and specialty restaurants. All of them being top knotch. The Aladdin Mediterranean style buffet was delicious and I was delightfully surprised to try camel meat at Bordiehn. Our suite had a spectacular view and right outside our room was the beach. The beach had coarl reefs and fish you only usually get to see on tv. It was such a special experience. As for our excursions with Azur, we had loads of fun on each of them. We did the 6 hour safari, a boat excursion to Orange Island and larger coral reefs, and horse riding along the Red Sea. Lastly we ended our trip with our first couples full package spa experience. We are now addicted to massages! Amal and Ahlam have MAGICAL hands. We can't wait to come back and visit them.

One of the best resorts in the red Sea.
The staff are friendly and very helpful and always smiling and keen to help and serve you.
The kids and adults loved it there.
The rooms are well designed but maybe a bit old but very good compared with the prices.

The lobby is huge, you can relax there, there are many sofas to sit. There is a clinic, and a game room. The sea and the sea view from the rooms were the most beautiful thing about my stay. The sea is clear from the beginning but blurry towards the middle. Be careful of the waves when swimming at the tip of the isle. I felt very relaxed just by looking at the view. The rooms were old but clean, and the housekeeping made sure that the room stayed clean the wholetime. Thanks to the team. The room 368 was both close to the sea and pool, also the restaurant. It was very walkable to anywhere. The room was enough for me and my family. Pool was nice, it was not that crowded. However sunbeds were occupied no matter how early we woke up. the pool bar “east bar” was also nice. The ice cream was not good, it was literally frozen water with food coloring and syrup, thus melted within minutes. I think it was just fruit sorbet? The entertainment team was the best. I’d like to thank to wiego and amir and other team members. The pilates, and stretching and aqua jam… The activities were long enough and the team members made sure that everyone was engaged with the activities or at least informed about. I missed other shows but I attended brazillian dance night and it was good. Despite the comments no one implied they wanted tips. Other than that my stay was three days anyways and I am glad that it was only three days because despite the amazing staff, entertainment team, and view, sea, I would not book again because food was so bad. I had already read the comments regarding the food and drinks before making the reservation. I was like “how bad it could be? The sea seems nice I am here for the view” I WAS WRONG. I was disgusted by the smell of the restaurant. You can smell it even at the gate of the hotel. No matter the dish is, the food is greasy, and have a funny taste. Believe me I am not a picky eater either. There was a day in which I could not find anything to eat so I just went with roasted plain potato. There was almost the same dishes everyday. There wasnt variety of foods. The salad bar was not good either. The desserts were much better than expected. The breakfast was the same everyday. I mean it. Greasy pancakes that has the smell of egg in the worst way you can imagine, fried eggplants, falafel, the worst sausages and omlette you can ever taste ( to be fair I dont think there are any delicious sausages in egypt as this is the third hotel i’ve been to and the taste is always bad) however the olives were good and other stuff like salami was worth trying as well as the cheese. When it comes the dinner and lunch the grilled chichken and liver were my favourite however they were still burnt, the rice was dry and tasteless. Yoghurt and grilled eggplant salad / mezze was good. French fries too. Other than that I dont think I have tasted anything worth admiring. Like I said the food was greasy and bad smelling. The cleaning of the tables was not good and quick enough. We tried to be neat as much as possible so the next guest would not have to wait for a clean table to eat like we did. You had to wait for a decent clean table with cutleries. When there was crumbles and dirt at the table we were approaching to sit at, the staff just threw the crumbles at the chairs / sofas with the wet wipe?? Hello?? You are not cleaning you are literally throwing the dirt at the chair that I am about to sit at? The cola tasted like sparkling sugar, and juices were TOO sweet. Cocktails were good though thanks to the bartenders. Anyways I think food and beverages manager should supervise more and fix the issue with the food and drinks because If more than a few people , even me, are complaining about the same issue at the comment section then there really is a huge problem that should be fixed and I believe this progress would really upgrade the whole hotel prestige. I had diarrhea on the second day, and was very nauseous. It has been 5 days since I left and I still have diarrhea.

Great location, beach front with both beach and pool access. Beautiful views and great weather. Service is pretty good. 3 main restaurants. Food is great! Definitely recommend coming here for a vacation in Hurghada!
