The hotel is a bit older and could benefit from some updates, but it more than makes up for it with its excellent service and welcoming staff.
The food was good, with a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. The beach is well maintained, offering plenty of sunbeds as well as a shaded area for those looking to escape the sun. Do keep in mind that the beach can be quite windy, the entrance to the sea is rocky, and the waves can sometimes be rough.
For families, there is a children's playground, a fun mini disco in the evenings, and plenty of activities around the pools to keep little ones entertained.
A major advantage is the bus stop located directly in front of the resort, with buses reaching the center of Heraklion in about 30 minutes.
Overall, we had a very positive experience. In my opinion, the Booking.com rating doesn't do this hotel justice.

Felt very unsafe while being followed!
I’m a black woman trying to enjoy my vacation.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, so much to do. It has a pool and a beach and a TENNIS COURT. Literally amazing. However, while we were staying there we kept having an incident where this lady kept following us and just like harassing us. My boyfriend and I finally had enough and argued with her. This is important since I’m black american. I’m on my vacation I don’t want to be harassed. We just wanted to enjoy our time. She was Im amusing greek women with dirty blond hair older woman in her 50s-60s. I’d recommend this hotel to everyone but my black people. We deserve to relax just as much as the next person. Everything would’ve been amazing if she wasn’t there. We’d definitely come back if she wasn’t working there.

I am staying here at the.moment and was very disappointed when we arrived. The hotel according Jet 2 is a 4 star but the hotel has been given 5 star by the Greek tourist board. I have been to Zante and Corfu in a 5 star this is by far not rated correctly. Our first room was not what we expected being dark and with extremely dated furniture and had maintenance issues. (Although very clean apart from
One issue which was dealt with) We didn’t even unpack our suitcases. The hotel did move us on day 4 to a new room which is the one we expected and paid for and we are extremely happy with it is lovely . If this had happened at the beginning I wouldn’t be making this review. . This was after complaining to Jet 2 and the hotel. The staff in reception when we arrived wasn’t very friendly. . No welcome drink. No one helped us with our cases. The hotel food isn’t displayed very well. I’m gluten free there is only a small selection of foods for GF although a member of staff did give me some bread.
Positives are. The swimming pools are very good
Beach towels given
The Greek restaurant was very good and staff very polite and friendly.
I would grade the rooms 4 star now and food 3 and service 3

We’ve booked an all inclusive package for a week at this hotel through a tour operator. The facilities are very nice, hotel and room are clean, bath towels are changed twice/day, the furniture is a bit old, but well preserved and maintained.
Eating area is clean, food is good and there is something for everybody - the greek food is delicious! There are fish options everyday, in the evenings there’s usually a theme (so far we had mexican and greek). Drinks everywhere, barely any queue at the bars, plenty of options to choose from and also quite a few different spaces to enjoy. Hotel is kid friendly, they loved exploring the gardens, the mini gold course and the kids center.
I had a garden view booked, but it has a partial view of the sea, balcony is nice and shaded, no need for AC.
Staff was kind to help with directions for Heraklion and helped booked trips, very happy!
I don t feel the Booking rating is deserved because the hotel has met all the expectations.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Even though we paid for an all-inclusive package, all bottled water had to be paid for separately, which was unexpected and frustrating. On top of that, we even had to pay extra to use the safe in our room for our valuables, which should have been included.
During our stay, the hotel organized a chess tournament that lasted two days, with over 500 adults and children participating. Unfortunately, this completely disrupted the atmosphere. There was constant noise, shouting, and children running around everywhere. It felt chaotic, and many areas became dirty and disorganized. It was nearly impossible to find a quiet place to sit and relax.
During this period, it was also very difficult to find a table to eat. Most of the time, there were no free tables available, and many guests even had to take their plates back to their rooms in order to eat.
Additionally, there were maintenance issues in the hotel. In several areas, water was dripping from the ceiling, and buckets had to be placed underneath to catch the water, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
What made the situation worse was the response from the hotel staff. Instead of addressing the issue properly, they simply told us to be patient because the group would only stay for two days. This did not feel like a professional or considerate solution.
Additionally, the quality of service declined during this time. There was only one type of coffee available, which is not what we expected from an all-inclusive experience.
On the day of our departure, we were not allowed to extend our room, even though we were willing to pay for it. This caused additional inconvenience and made the end of our stay even more stressful.
Another issue was the spa pricing, which seemed inconsistent and unclear, as the prices kept changing.
Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend this hotel based on our stay.
