Our golfing trip at AP Cabanas Beach & Nature was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed, stylish, and perfectly suited for a group golf getaway. The hotel combines modern comfort with the natural beauty of the Algarve, creating the ideal place to unwind after a day on the course.
The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with beautiful views and everything we needed to relax and recharge. The staff went above and beyond throughout our stay — always friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, and their attention to detail made the whole experience feel effortless.
One of the highlights was the food and drink. The breakfast selection was outstanding, giving us the perfect start before early tee times, while the evening dining options were equally impressive. Enjoying drinks by the rooftop pool after a round of golf quickly became our favourite routine.
The location was also perfect for accessing several fantastic golf courses in the Algarve, while still offering a peaceful and scenic setting away from the crowds. The combination of great golf, outstanding hospitality, excellent facilities, and a relaxed atmosphere made this a truly memorable trip.
We would highly recommend AP Cabanas Beach & Nature to anyone planning a golfing holiday in Portugal. It delivered everything we could have hoped for — comfort, quality, great service, and an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be returning.

Returning to this hotel for a 3 night escape in December. We came last year at this time & loved it. So this year we had an expectation and it was surpassed. A quiet off season corner of calm, delicious food which easily accommodated my allergy requirements. Outstanding staff member was Sylvia Gaspan, managing the restaurant and paying attention to all guests needs.
We used the spa area, the sauna looks out onto the garden and we watched the sun set. Hired bikes and cycled on the local routes. Walked into Tavira, took about an hour over the salt planes and an easy path to follow.
Enjoyed the live music and the drinks in the evening. Mainly the chilled vibe at this time of year is why we returned, and will do again.

Here is my reason for giving it a 2!
I think if it was not for the staff, waiters, bartenders and receptionists I would give it a „1“.
The hotel looks quite impressive online. Many amenities. The 10 € per towel is fine because you get your money back when you turn in your towel.
But I agree lots of bird droppings in and around the pool, need to find a solution to it.
We had a good time at the bar and bartenders we had did great.
Regarding the food we only ate breakfast there nothing else and it was a bit disappointing despite the variety! Orange juice is from a box not fresh. While you see lots of oranges orchards around loaded with oranges.
I don’t think we will return and go back to our old place. Just wanted to try something new.

Beautiful hotel to stay at. The food was good, and the amenities were very nice. The outdoor lounge was very relaxing. The hotel itself is at the end of the road/parking lot, just keep driving. There is a small grocery store near by.

An absolutely fantastic hotel. Tranquil- no disco! Close (4 minutes)to the Rio Formosa a very peaceful,tidal river estuary.
Immaculately clean and tidy. Large outdoor pool. Rooftop pool and lounge looking out over the estuary to the sea.
Some of the best food I've had the pleasure to eat.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
